-Good evening, everyone. I'm Laura Ingram. This is the Ingram angle from Washington tonight. Biden lied about running for president because of Charlottesville and got away with it, and apparently Kamala's new running mate thought he could lie and get away with it, too. But his lies were about his military service. -To his fellow veterans, he is Sergeant Major Walls. -And what does Mr. Congeniality say about these charges? -Governor! Fan-subscuse you've stolen valor! Your response! Governor! -We'll be joined exclusively by the National Guardsmen who broke the story wide open. And why are the Communist Chinese so happy about Tim? -I don't fall into the category that China necessarily needs to be an adversarial relationship. I totally disagree. -Plus, more zoom-in for Kamala. Is inflation really that funny, though? -She's black. She's everything. You can be more than one thing. It's incredible. You know, I'm Jewish and Irish. I wish I was black. -But first, waltzing with whack jobs, that's the focus of tonight's angle. Alright, after Biden and Harris pushed America to the edge of an economic abyss, the party has decided to avoid discussing Kamala's record. It's all platitudes all the time. -She never hesitated to reach across the aisle if it meant improving people's lives. I want all of you to hold this and don't ever underestimate the power of this. She does it all with a sense of joy. -Since they can't really defend their record, after all, Trump beats Harris on the top three issues in poll after poll, their argument is basically, "Trust Kamala," because she's historic and locked up some criminals in the past. And as for Governor Walz, they can't defend his record either, at least not to independents and moderates, that is. The 2020 post-Floyd shooting "Summer of Love" was more like "Summer of Lawlessness" under his watch, so all they can do is lean in to his personal biography. -He is someone who, long before he entered politics, worked as a teacher. After school, Tim was the linebackers' coach for the football team. They defied the odds -- hear this out -- going from a winless record to the school's first-ever state championship. -Well, that's nice if we're interviewing to fill the job of, let's say, assistant principal somewhere, but we're choosing a vice president, the second-most powerful job in the United States, maybe even on the planet. So we need real answers demanded by real reporters of real substance. But, I mean, we got to be fair here. In their analysis of Tim Walz, this does qualify as substantive to them. -See, that's sort of a joyful presence of folks he charmed to. -The Harris-Wolz sounds like a dance to me. It sounds like a happy dance. -This is, like, comfortable, normal, and joyful. That is a powerful thing in campaigns. -Are they describing a new daytime syndicated show? It sounds like it. Live with Kamala and Tim starting this fall. Check your local listings. But it's all just pixie dust, creating a fantasy distraction from the ugly truth about the wasteland that their regulate, borrow, and spend policies have created for Americans. -Everything's going up high, still going up high. You don't know what else you're buying in here. If it's real, if it's not real. -You know, it's just not getting it with just any job. You have to have a good job to be able to afford everything, you know, for your household. -I've been living in this facility for 10 years. Robbery is pixie common in our area. -But these people are so brazen, they not only deny any failures, they pretend to champion what they're most intent on destroying. -Ours is a fight for the future of the middle class, and it is a fight for freedom. -Of course, Biden-Harris inflation has hammered working families in the middle class, and their fight isn't for freedom, it's for control. It's all a con job. And so is the Harris campaign trying to push Wallace as America's coach. He should just wear a whistle around his neck. An inspiring coach celebrates success, at least the coaches I always had. He doesn't ridicule it. But that is exactly what Tim Wallace did yesterday in knocking J.D. Vance, whose life literally is the epitome of the American dream. -His running mate shares his dangerous and backward agenda for this country. Like all regular people I grew up with in the heartland, J.D. studied at Yale, had his career funded by Silicon Valley billionaires, and then wrote a bestseller trashing that community. Come on! That's not what middle America is. -Now, did Governor Nice Guy write that part of his speech? Did he even read it ahead of time? He obviously must have approved it, right? Snide, nasty, and just to use their word, weird. Or are the Democrats now against poor kids from troubled homes working hard and getting into a top school? Or working in the business world? Is that now racist, too? He wasn't trashing his community in hillbilly elegy. He was telling his life story. Ever heard of it? It's called a memoir. Try reading it, Tim, of the tiny brain. Sure, Tim Walz was a popular teacher, but listen to him for five minutes on YouTube, and you realize why so many high schoolers don't know much about the Constitution. They learn from people like Walz. -There's no guarantee to free speech on misinformation or hate speech, and especially around our democracy. -Yeah, because the First Amendment's all about just protecting speech that you agree with. Imagine his social studies lectures about totalitarian regimes. For Walz, states are despotic, other states in the country, when they pass laws that reflect the values of their own people by protecting kids from gender surgeries. -We're seeing totalitarianism at rise of telling them that they don't have a place to speak. In Minnesota, every single child is valued. -Notice Orwellian use of language. You value a child when you allow him or her to be subjected to life-altering medical treatment before the age that they can even order a beer at a ballpark. But never forget, some of the most hateful people, hateful toward Christianity, traditional family teachings, will always, and I mean always, pose as the good guys. -This is an open state that is welcome for people. This is a state that values science, values people's own personal opinions to make their own choices. That hatred, that bigotry stops at our borders. -Finally, a border they care about. -If you can judge a man's integrity by his friends, well, listen closely to Tim's activist friends. -Governor Walz has been supportive of the LGBTQ community since he was a high school teacher. When we elected 11 new LGBTQ members to the House two years ago and created the Queer Caucus, and I started pushing the importance of the trans-refuge bill that I carry. He was always right there. Always right there. These people are wild-eyed, hateful, vindictive radicals who believe it's justice for a child to be taken from parents who deny them gender mutilation or sterilizing hormone therapy. Again, that's nice to them. But this is what the nice guy governor does to families in Minnesota. He pulls children away from parents who do not comply. That's okay under Minnesota law. The high-paid consultants hired by the Harris campaign to sell Walz's normal and nice have a problem on their hands. Most Americans don't think the riots of 2020 were normal. They don't think they were nice. They don't think green-lighting double mastectomies for confused teen girls is normal or nice, and they won't think that someone who lies about going to war is normal or nice. It's warped, and it's devious. Forget tampon Tim. I kind of prefer twisted Tim, and that's the angle.

"America is an uncharted territory. We are angrier and more deeply divided than we've ever been at any point in our history since the Civil War. And at the eye of the storm is Donald Trump, ripping families apart, threatening women's most basic rights, and running for Attorney General because I will never be afraid to challenge this illegitimate president when our fundamental rights are at stake. From the Muslim ban, to efforts to deport immigrants, to denying transgender students the ability to choose whatever bathroom they want, rolling back regulations to protect our planet, colluding with foreign powers, putting profits over people, dividing us in ways we haven't seen in generations. And I believe that he is an embarrassment to all that we stand for. He should be charged with obstructing justice. I believe that the president of these United States can be indicted for criminal offenses. We would join with law enforcement and other attorneys general across this nation in removing this president from office. In addition to that, the office of Attorney General will continue to follow the money because we believe that he is engaged in a patent practice of money laundering, laundering the money from foreign governments here in New York State and particularly related to his real estate holdings. It's important that everyone understand that the days of Donald Trump are coming to an end, but we can only do it if all of you exercise the most fundamental right, a right which is basic to democracy and that is the right to vote. The country at war with itself, you may be wondering what you could possibly do to change it. The answer is simple, everything. And it starts with electing an attorney general who will never back down when Trump or anyone else threatens our rights. So I hope that you will join me on the vote on Thursday, September 13th for quiet dignity and defiance.
