Good evening everyone. I'm Laura Ingraham. This is Ingraham Angle from Washington tonight. Just moments ago on Truth Social, Donald Trump revealed one of his first acts as president. This is a big one. On January 20th, as one of his many first executive orders, he will sign all necessary documents to charge Mexico and Canada a 25% tariff on all products coming into the United States. And it's ridiculous open borders. It's time for them to pay a very big price. Most of that, of course, focus on Mexico there. More on that later. Plus, Eric Trump will react to that and a lot more. But first, lawfare loses. That's the focus of tonight's angle. Well, he came in very hot against Trump. Good evening. Today, an indictment was unsealed, charging Donald J. Trump with conspiring to defraud the United States, conspiring to disenfranchise voters and conspiring and attempting to obstruct an official proceeding. The attack on our nation's capital on January 6th, 2021 was an unprecedented assault on the seat of American democracy. So sanctimonious. But it turns out the unprecedented assault on our democracy was committed not by Donald Trump, but by the legal henchmen like Jack Smith and their political and media backers. Now, today, Smith was compelled to file motions to dismiss his cases against Trump, one of which was promptly granted by D.C. District Judge Tanya Chutkin. Now, this is obviously a huge victory for President-elect Trump, but Smith and his allies tried their best to frame the result as not based on the merits, but simply compelled by longstanding policy. This has nothing to do with the strength of the case. This simply has to do with the verdict, essentially, that voters gave on the Justice Department policy, longstanding Justice Department policy. The Department is not allowed to prosecute a president, a sitting president. That shield, essentially, also applies to him as a elected president, as the president-elect. Now, when the news came out, Donald Trump posted on Truth Social that the cases were empty and lawless and should never have been brought. They are celebrating. This was the goal all along, was that they would get these cases dropped. The idea of it actually being revived in their mind seems highly unlikely. This seems like the end of all this. Well, but not so fast. While we love seeing these cases falling into the abyss one after the other, the petty and vindictive Jack Smith made sure to request that the cases be dismissed without prejudice, meaning? These cases could be revived after Trump serves this next term, right? That's right. I mean, look, if you look at the language that the special counsel used and that the judge uses in deciding this without prejudice means that when Donald Trump is no longer president of the United States, these cases could be revived. Yeah, that theoretically, the charges could be reinstated on January 21st, 2029, when Donald Trump is 82 years young. Now, of course, Trump's DOJ can and should take actions to ensure that these cases aren't just dormant, they're dead. So as we celebrate Donald Trump's beating the Lawfare League at their own game, we should also, we must never forget how close they came to upending our entire system of government with their corrupt and illegal use of our justice system. Now, remember, they were so desperate to stop Trump. The left even tried to use a whacked out interpretation of the 14th Amendment, which was a complete joke, to prevent him from being on the ballot in key states. Thank God they were goose egged by the Supreme Court, which struck down the effort with an exclamation mark back in May. But ever since Trump announced his third run at the presidency, the DC machine and their venal auxiliaries were intent on locking him up. They like they're like jackals circling a wounded lion. The search of Marlago. It just sends the message that there is no person in this country who's above the law. What we are seeing here is exactly what should be done. We need to recognize and praise Merrick Garland for following the rule of law. The message that it sends is really important that even the former president of the United States can be held accountable and should be and will be. And Trump's aides and allies were forced to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars in legal fees. People's lives were turned upside down. Then it was who will turn on Trump first? Who'll take a plea deal and give up the goods? All this speculating was so stupid. Then let's not forget following his motorcade in Manhattan to the courthouse. What about fingerprints? What about the mugshot? Everything you're going to be able to see live on TV. They're going to be mugshots. They're going to be fingerprints. Donald Trump will be fingerprinted. He will be photographed and end up with a mugshot. A picture that will live in infamy. The first mugshot of an American president splashed across the front pages this morning. Of course he turned that into a huge coup for himself because he's smarter than they are. Of course, what about all the taxpayer dollars that were spent on these fraudulent cases? We'll never get it back. And we'll never really know how much was spent. Newsweek estimated that what about 50 million or so was spent by just Jack Smith team. That's an understatement. So what we saw was a serious concerted effort to use all the resources of the federal government to put Donald Trump in prison for the rest of his life. And it was all because they wanted to prevent you the people from having your say. And of course, him from being president. So history is going to remember Jack Smith and Alvin Bragg, Fonny Willis, and the judges who let these cases get as far as they did as modern day keystone cops who chased Trump around hounding him, trying to keep him off the campaign trail because they hated his agenda. They hate everything he stands for. So it's a mistake to write them off as all incompetence. Their teams were backed by some of the smartest and toughest, meanest lawyers out there. They worked nights and weekends and through holidays all to put him behind bars and subvert this election. The only reason Donald Trump is not in jail now is because of you, the voters. And of course Trump himself. Imagine if Trump wasn't Trump. Forget about it. Most people would have folded like a $20 lawn chair. He fought like his freedom depended on it, but mostly because our freedom depended on it. If Harris had won, this sick weaponization of our justice system would have been validated. At least for now, it's on ice. But despite these setbacks, the angle does not believe the Democrats have given up on this lawfare strategy. In a statement reacting to the dismissal, Adam Schiff today ripped the system saying, if Democrats, you know, basically saying that the system itself failed, failed the people, failed to do what it was supposed to do. And I'm telling you, if the Democrats somehow managed to take the House in 2026 and they could, it is highly probable that they will do everything in their power, stay with me here, to impeach Donald Trump again. You think I'm kidding? Well, we'll see. And if Democrats win in 2028, I mean, they're just going to resume the case that we're talking about tonight and they'll probably try to go after Vance as well. And anyone else connected to Trump. This is why the DOJ has to be cleaned out. I think Pam Bondi can do it. The Democrats and their never Trump poodles have done enormous damage to these institutions and they will do it all again. They do not care. There should be, however, consequences where appropriate so that this never happens again. And that's the end.

Hopefully not in that way, but he did say anything. For the first time ever, Trump is tied going into election day. He always goes in down. Let that sink in. It's the tightest race in a half a century and behind the scenes, Democrats are worried she can't stretch herself across the finish line. Little she does, says, or tries seems to move the needle. They've been waiting for her to fully reveal herself to voters but she hasn't, she's been a tease. At this point, Democrats are throwing their hands up in the air and saying, she is who she is. They're coming to grips with the fact that Kamala has reached her full potential. This version of Kamala, as good as it's ever gonna get. After the CNN town hall, reality slapped Democrats in the face. Her performance last night was the last straw for a lot of Democrats. No more, the more she does it, the better she'll get. The get to know her phase, that's over. They've realized the country's not interested. Just ask Mel Gibson. I know what it'd be like if we let her in. Yeah, oh really? That ain't good. Yeah, well this miserable track record, a falling track record, no policies to speak out. And the border, right? And she's got the IQ of a fence post. (laughing) So it's not good. And Bill Clinton, not helping. There is a sliver there that has to make up their mind. And to them, Kamala Harris has showed up. I mean, she was there as vice president and what they think of her largely depends on what they think of President Biden. But she is extremely vulnerable, more vulnerable than she deserves to be. Now if Bubba keeps this up, Democrats are gonna have to lock 'em up in the basement with Joe. But Slick Willy's right, she's vulnerable. And the far left smelling blood in the water. Progressives warned Harris must change your closing message as the election looms. The Bernie Bros are asking Harris, "Can you stop campaigning with Liz Cheney?" Liz Cheney. And maybe campaign with AOC instead. They're telling her stop screaming about fascism and start talking about the bread and butter kitchen table issues that motivate working class Democrats. - Some Democrats are concerned that you've pivoted too far away from talking about the economy and really prioritizing that in these final days of the election that you could end up losing some progressive voters and some working class voters because of that. What do you say to those people, especially ones who might be concerned that doing a big closing argument speech in a place like the Ellipse may be leaning more into talking about the threat of Trump to democracy and not his threats that you see to the economy? - One of the things that I love about the American people is we can hold many thoughts at once. - That's deep. Kamala's base is fracturing on the eve of the election because she's not talking about wages, healthcare and education. You know, things Democrats used to stand for before they got captured by the corporate class. Morning Joe keeps telling her to talk about Hitler and she's following orders because that's what she's done her whole life. She doesn't realize she can give orders now. She doesn't have to just do what she's told. Bernie Sanders who's won more, millions more primary votes than Kamala has ever won is warning the Democratic Party, we're gonna lose if we don't talk about the economy. But there's two problems. One, Kamala can't talk about the economy because she's the one who tanked it. And two, Kamala is afraid to be seen with Bernie. She was more liberal than Bernie in the Senate, but now she acts like they never met. That tells you how much of a hoax Harris's candidacy is. Democrats are now wondering who'd be more responsible for a Harris loss, Biden for dragging his feet or Harris. But there's plenty of blame to go around. Everyone's responsible. This is the second time the Democratic Party has circumvented democracy and chose. Yes it is. Hillary Clinton, Hillary Clinton was chosen and she had Bruce Springsteen too and what happened to her? And now we've chosen. - Hillary Clinton won a primary, okay? She won a primary. You may not like the back of the primary. - Nobody could compete with her, even Bernie Sanders. - She won a primary, first of all. That's the first thing. - So did Kamala Harris win a primary? - Listen, we've talked about this before. - What's wrong with talking about it tonight after what you just saw? - Do you think that's really what matters to voters? - How many Democrats wish? - Hold on, hold on a second. - Let's talk about what matters to voters. Do you really think voters care about the internecine primary? - If you're a Democrat, you sure as hell care today. - Kamala Harris is gonna lose because Biden waited too long to step down. Are you serious? He didn't step down. He backed out with a gun to his head. The Democrats knew Biden was shot for years. They could have primaried him. You know, the way things have been done since our founding, they could have had an open primary after Joe got whacked. The truth is Biden and Kamala were both probably gonna lose. They're both responsible for the last four years. Nobody can point to the last four years and say they deserve to be reelected. Doesn't matter who you are. It's not about Biden and Harris. It's about what they did. And now the Democrats are all in denial and demand every celebrity in America to pop up on stage and sprinkle Kamala with as much Hollywood magic as possible and just close their eyes and hope their dreams come true. Tonight, we're hearing Kamala is gonna be on stage with Beyonce, but the media has seen this before. - With 11 days to go, I gotta tell you to this reporter, it feels a little familiar because I remember these scenes from 2016 when Hillary rallied, Hillary Clinton rallied in Philadelphia with Barack Obama and Bruce Springsteen. That event was basically a victory rally that was held before all the votes were cast. And we all know how it turned out. - You can't fuel a campaign with pop stars. Campaigns are about connecting with people, real people who have real problems. These real moments between the politician and the people, that's what makes and breaks a campaign. You can see one connects and the other doesn't. (crowd chattering) - It's about priorities and the people see that. Before Trump taped the Joe Rogan podcast, he was visiting angel moms whose offspring were murdered by Biden migrants. - Today, Kamala is here in Texas to rub shoulders with woke celebrities, isn't that exciting? (crowd cheering) But she's not gonna meet with any of the victims of migrant crime while she's here. We have many of them right here, the families, we have many of them and they're incredible people, what they've gone through, the hell that they've gone through and we'll continue to go through, unfortunately. She'll not speak to the grieving mothers from whom she has stolen the brightest light in their life. - Celebrity endorsements are fine. Beyonce has every right to be in Texas with the borders are, but that's all Harris has. She doesn't have the people. She's not tackling our problems. You gotta get your hands dirty if you wanna be president. It's not an easy job. You can't worry about what everybody's saying about you. You can't hide from questions. You gotta aim for the problem, sell the solution and work your butt off. And if you see what's gonna happen and maybe you're depressed about it, call Carville and he'll do anything to cheer you up. And I mean anything.
