Laura Ingraham: “We have too many actings and not enough permanent and confirmed appointees in the Trump Administration. The Senate has got to stay in session and get these Appellate Judges, and all of these other top officials CONFIRMED!”

Video transcript 1:42

So it explained very briefly what happens, you got so you got 15 out of 17 judges, Democrat appointees, Obama or Biden appointees. So that's a nightmare, right? We got to get people confirmed, meaning Jonathan's got to actually hold people over for Senate votes over the weekends and maybe cancel a vacation. So you get all of Trump's nominees confirmed. Otherwise, they're never going to get confirmed. So Jonathan, if you're watching, just just make Chuck Schumer stay for a weekend. You'll start getting people confirmed. But but what happens? The district judges get to vote on whether this continues, her term continues for people who don't know this. Yeah, it's a very weird statute. And you know, frankly, Laura from from one lawyer to another, I think the statute is probably deeply unconstitutional. But the statute purports to say that after the 120 day statutory limitation for an acting U.S. attorney for his or her term to end, then I at that point, either the U.S. Senate has to confirm the acting U.S. attorney or the federal judges in that particular state can bestow upon their imprimatur of legitimacy to essentially say this acting U.S. attorney's term can continue unless and until the U.S. Senate actually acts. I think that is zooming out and getting out and getting out the weeds a little bit here, Laura, the biggest issue, as you again correctly said, is that Chuck Schumer is gobbling up time. Jonathan needs floor time to get these U.S. attorneys confirmed. If he had a full-time U.S. attorney, this wouldn't be an issue in the first place. Yeah. Well, we have too many actings and not enough permanent and confirmed appointees in the Trump administration. The Senate has got to stay in session and get these appellate judges and all these other top officials confirmed in every department. A lot of these secretaries are missing key staffers. Josh, thank you very much.

Democrats are obstructing good (hopefully great) people wanting to give up a big portion of their life to work for our Government, hence, the American People. They are “slow walking” all of my nominations - hundreds of people. At this rate it would take 9 years for all approvals!
