What the image shows
A news/official photograph taken in the Oval Office. A man in a dark Marine Corps dress uniform with a white peaked cap, wearing a Medal of Honor around his neck along with several other service ribbons and medals, stands behind and to the left of a large ornately carved wooden desk (the Resolute Desk), holding open a small display case containing a medal/badge. Seated at the desk is an older man with blond/light hair wearing a dark navy suit, white shirt, and red tie, smiling broadly at the camera with his hands resting on a document/folder on the desk. On the desk are a document/paper, two dark blue boxes, two black desktop phone/intercom units, and a small wooden block. Behind the desk are framed photographs on a side table, and in the background are gold/yellow curtains, an American flag, and a blue presidential-style flag with a gold eagle emblem.
