I am pleased to announce the nomination of Matthew Byrne to serve as Judge on the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio. As Judge on the Ohio Twelfth District Court of Appeals, Matt has distinguished himself, and delivered strong results for The Buckeye State. He comes strongly recommended by our Great Vice President, JD Vance, and Senators Bernie Moreno and Jon Husted! Matt previously worked as an attorney at two major Cincinnati Law Firms, received his J.D. from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, and earned his B.A. from Xavier University. It is my Great Honor to nominate Michael Martin to serve as Judge on the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan! Mike has served as a Federal Prosecutor for more than two decades, primarily as an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Michigan. He is the Chief of the Office’s Criminal Division, and former Chief of its National Security Unit. Receiving his J.D. from Boston College Law School, M.A. in National Security Studies from Georgetown University, and B.A. from Miami University, Mike also clerked for the late Judges Hugh Bownes and Edward F. Harrington. The people of Michigan are truly fortunate that a great public servant like Mike is joining the Federal Bench. Congratulations Mike!
