-Three years ago, we had the safest border in history, built almost 500 miles of wall, got 28,000 soldiers from Mexico free of charge. Today, it is the absolute worst border anywhere in the world. There's nothing close. Millions and millions of people are pouring through our border. They come from prisons and jails. They come from mental institutions and insane asylums, and their terrorists are coming into our country, totally unchecked. We have no idea who they are. We will immediately stop that the day I become president. The same day, it'll stop. And everybody knows, as soon as I'm elected, they won't even bother coming because we had the safest border in the history of our country and now we have the worst border in the history of the world.
