Illegal border crossings into our country have plummeted to historic lows under President Trump's watch. Last February, Joe Biden caught and released 77,000 illegals at the border. This February, under Trump, the numbers won. That's one lucky guy. Biden didn't just roll out the red carpet for these people. He also let crooked NGOs stuff their pockets with your money. One Texas nonprofit took $3 billion to help house migrant kids and then gave all their executives huge raises while staffers allegedly sexually abused them or even handed the kids over to traffickers. Trump's taking a different approach. He's offering Biden's illegals an olive branch in the form of an ultimatum. Leave now on your own or risk the consequences. My administration is launching the CBP home app to give people in our country illegally an easy way to leave now and self-deport voluntarily. If they do, they could potentially have the opportunity to return legally at some point in the future. But if they do not avail themselves of this opportunity, then they will be found, they will be deported, and they will never be admitted again to the United States ever, ever again. And he actually said we shouldn't be able to take criminals, killers, murderers, horrible, the worst people, gang members, gang leaders, that we shouldn't be allowed to take them out of our country. Well, that's a presidential job. That's not for a local judge to be making that determination. And the media is taking the side of the gang bangers still, comparing their Irish grandparents to trendail agua members. On this St. Patrick's Day, as millions of Americans celebrate their Irish heritage, recent events remind us that the Irish were among the first immigrants to be targeted in deportation crackdowns. In the mid-1800s, New York and Massachusetts enforced policies to have Irish immigrants rounded up and deported. The American Civil Liberties Union didn't exist then, but if it had, it may have taken the legal position it is taking now, suing the Trump administration to stop what it considers to be the illegal deportation over the weekend of more than 200 migrants to El Salvador.
