It was a big secret here in the San Joaquin Valley that there was a lot of people who should not be driving semi-trucks. Yeah. Because I go to truck stops, I drive every week to Stanford 200 miles until I was ill from my farm, and I would stop at rest stops. Sometimes I would cosset or fruta, sometimes state, and I would see these truckers speaking foreign languages. And then I would see them on the road, and they were driving in the left, not just the center lane, but the left lane. Going down Pacheco Pass, and it's 50 miles an hour, and it goes down to 35 for a truck, and they were going 70 on the downhill curve. And then I would read about all these wrecks, and then I would see them go by my house, 70 miles an hour on a rural road. So I started talking to a lot of my Indian friends off the record, and they would say, "We're getting people from Mexico, they come from India, they come across the border, they will drive a semi-truck for $15 an hour." Right. And I thought, "Well, how do they get a license?" And they'd smile. And then to get a California driver's license, you have to be a professional license, 21, you have to take a four-hour written test, you have to take a two-hour actual driving in-person test. But before you do that, you have to be a citizen, you have to have a background check, and you have to have a physical. And all of that was waived in 45,000 cases, and they had interstate abilities once they had that license. And Trump all of a sudden, you know, Sean Duffy said, "It's over, we're not doing that anymore. We're going to shut down, I don't know what it was, 200 driving schools." And everybody said, "He's racist." But that's what I mean by a counter-revolution. He's trying to do, you know, it's trying to shut this down immediately.
