How many people on the terrorist watch list aren't escaping this country? How many billions of dollars are the cartels not making? A secure border saves lives, and that's what President Trump has done. We were saving lives by the thousands simply because they have a secure border. We got more to do. Look, we were arrested about three times more than Biden did in one month. I already talked about that. In one month, we compare his month to our month, we're arrested three times more than Joe Biden did. That's not enough. When you do ten times more, because he wasn't doing squat. So the media has been all over me, "Well, are you happy with the numbers?" I'm happy. I'm not satisfied. We're not going to rest. But I can't let you get away with what you just said about the American Rescue Plan and this inflation that has crippled families here in Philadelphia and all through the state of Pennsylvania and all across the country. Inflation when Donald Trump left office was 1.4% year over year. The stimulus package measures that he put into place was when the economy was flat on its back because the world was shut down because of COVID-19. When Joe Biden and Kamala Harris came into office, many states were already back to work. Their economies were already opening. And when they wanted to do his American Rescue Plan, which she co-signed because she was the tie-breaking vote, we told them on Capitol Hill, you're going to create a labor shortage, which is going to create inflation. Because what they wanted to do was do a massive child tax credit, which by the way is the cornerstone of her economic agenda. That child tax credit coupled with all of the other unemployment benefits that Joe Biden wanted to do, that's what caused the labor shortage. The labor shortage in an economy that was already opening up is what caused the massive inflation. So we need to be crystal clear on this. There were bipartisan packages to support the American people during COVID-19. Everybody knows we would do that stuff again. But Joe Biden and Kamala Harris didn't need to do the American Rescue Plan. He wanted to do that for his own agenda, for his own name, and it wrecked our economy. and that's why Americans are suffering today.

And now to a developing story out of the East County tonight, two school bus routes in the Hamul-Dulzura Union School District were interrupted for two straight days after several migrants tried to board school buses. Our Sarah Legre has the story tonight. Well, yeah, there have been two migrant encounters in the past two days involving school buses and young children here at Hamul-Dulzura USD. Now, no one was injured and all students are safe, but parents are angry. Your initial shock is you're helpless. It's practice night for Nicole Cardinelli and her son, Apollo. It's the ordinary, but their morning certainly wasn't. Twenty illegal migrants tried to get on the bus today at one of our bus stops. Hours earlier, she got this email letting Nicole know her eight-year-old son was aboard his school bus heading to Hamul Elementary when all of a sudden... Really confused. He said these adults, they weren't kids, but they had backpacks on mom and they tried to get on our bus. And there was a lot of them. The district confirmed 20 migrants tried to board the bus Wednesday morning when it stopped to pick up students here along its B route. That's when parents and the drivers stepped in, keeping the migrants at bay. It was definitely really scary. It also happened Tuesday along Route A, shown here in orange near State Route 94. Three men walked along the highway trying to stop the bus to "go around their group."
