Here in Detroit, welcome to Detroit. We want to talk about why we're here in a moment. Today, though, CNN announced it had finalized the rules for your first presidential debate now less than two weeks away with both your campaign and the Biden campaign. Look, we know you go into this debate with a whole host of things to go after President Biden on, whether it's illegal immigration, you talk about an economy that's not working for many Americans, and the wars in Ukraine and Israel, which you say would not have happened under your leadership. I know you're ready for this. President Biden will go after you on the topics of January 6 and your criminal conviction in New York. How do you plan on responding to those attacks? Well, first of all, this conviction was a Democrat hoax started by him as election interference and really attacking a political opponent, never been seen before in this country. It's done by third world countries, by banana republics, never been done by this country. And it's a disgrace. And he's a disgrace. And with his record and his family's record, he's a disgrace to have done it. And the gloves have come off because of it. And frankly, it allows you to speak more freely. Look, he's the worst president in the history of our country. He makes Jimmy Carter look brilliant, frankly, the Carter administration. And he is just a disaster. Now we have Russian ships and submarines right off the coast of Miami and Cuba just a few minutes away. But just a disaster, what what this man has done to our country with allowing millions and millions of people to pour in unvetted, unchecked, and they come from jails and they come from mental institutions all over the world. They're emptying out their criminals. They're emptying out their people with mental problems into our country. And he's allowing it to happen by the millions. And I tell you, he is just a disastrous president. And if we don't get him out, we've got ourselves a real I mean, we already have a mess. Believe me, I'll get itself. But it's just getting worse by the day when you look at what's happening to our country. Think of it. Russian ships circling Cuba. It's unbelievable. Mr. President, we're here in Detroit today. Hundreds of people coming out here in the highest black population city in the country to see you. What kind of economic policies will you enact as president that will help communities like this one, which are still trying to rebound after decades of decay? How will you help black and Latino voters this election? We've already done it with the most successful program. Probably there has been for black and and Latino, but in particular, in this case, black, the Opportunity Zones. And they have been incredible. Did that with Tim Scott, Senator from South Carolina. And it's been a tremendous almost a miracle. It's been one of the most probably the most successful program of its kind ever tried. We're very honored by it. But we had the best economy. Blacks were working at levels never seen before. Now their wages are way down. And what's happening is the illegals coming in, they're taking their jobs. The black population and Hispanic population is more affected by the Latinos coming into our country than anybody. And I'll add somebody else or some other group unions. Unions are being hurt terribly. When you have 15, 16 million people coming into the country, the unions are being decimated. And they don't like talking about it. But that's what's happening. They're being decimated by the Biden policies, but also by millions of people pouring into the country. You've received more black support than any president chill candidate in modern history. You mentioned one name Tim Scott, one of several names that you've mentioned or have been mentioned for vice president. I know you said that you won't announce that pick until the convention next month. But when it comes to choosing a vice president, sir, how important is executive experience, whether it's in business like yourself or in government? Well, I think it's very important. It's something that comes natural to some and it comes very unnaturally to others. But executive experience is important. But president is sort of covers all aspects. It's politics. It's executive. It's executive and knowing what to do and knowing the feel of a nation and the touch and all these different qualities. You need everything. And Tim is a very good man and we have a lot of good people that we're looking at and we'll be announcing probably during the convention. But the most important thing and I've said this quite a bit and I guess a lot of people would say it is if something should happen, something bad, I guess, would it would have to be. But if something should happen, we have to have somebody that can step right in and do a great job as president. That's the most. Secondly, if they can help get you elected, that's good. But typically that never happens. It's up to the president or the one running for president. If you look back in history, you'll see virtually no vice president that made that much of a difference in terms of the election. The most important thing you can do is get somebody that will be a great president just in case it should be needed. You mentioned unity, huge theme for you this week. There was a fist bump, I believe, with Senator McConnell down in Washington. You also supported Larry Hogan for his Senate campaign in Maryland. This is a man who hasn't supported you in the past. You're supporting him, however. What is it about getting Larry Hogan elected and how do you feel about him not giving you the same endorsement? Well, I don't know. I heard it was somebody from his staff and it wasn't him that did that or said the negative thing. And, you know, he's obviously of a little bit different persuasion than me. But I think having Larry Hogan as opposed to a Democrat would be a good thing. And we'll see where it goes. And let's see what he says. I have not heard from him. I've heard from somebody in his staff, maybe that staff person, you know, somebody in my staff said something very bad about Larry. And I thought maybe we should try and get along. But we'll see what Larry has to say. I have not spoken to him at all. And if he has a good chance of winning, that's very important. We're clearing up misconceptions today. One, I do want to give you a chance to talk about Milwaukee, a lot of rumors this week, half-truths. What did he say? What didn't he say? When it comes to Milwaukee, home to the GOP convention next month, what are your thoughts in the all-important swing state? Well, I put out a truth just now because I heard the Democrats lie. That's all they can do. Bad policies, open borders, bad military, the whole thing, everything they do is bad. All electric cars, they want to have everyone driving an electric car, all made in China. Don't go far enough, as you know, they don't go far. And they cost a lot of money. The whole thing is ridiculous. Now they're talking about your washing machines. They want to give them no water, dishwashing machines. Every day they have something new. They have no policy, but all they do is lie. They make up stories. That's a totally made up story. I picked Milwaukee. I had a lot of choices, a lot of places wanted it, obviously, with the money that it brings and the economics and the economic development, even, that it brings. I had a lot of choices. I picked Milwaukee. Never said anything bad about Milwaukee, other than something I say about a lot of cities, especially Democrat-run cities, is that we want to keep the vote honest. And I hope that Milwaukee is going to keep the vote honest. And if they do, I'm going to really love it. But I was the one that picked Milwaukee, and it's just another lie. They lied about soldiers, they lied about just about everything, because when you have a candidate like Biden that doesn't know he's around, that doesn't know, is he still living? I mean, I saw the mess in Europe, that mess. I've never seen anything like it where he doesn't even know where the hell he is. They have to lie because, frankly, if they don't, they have no chance of getting elected. And it's a shame, frankly, when I hear a story like that, Milwaukee bothered me because when you're the one that picked it, and we have great spirit going into Milwaukee, and the people of Wisconsin, as you know, were leading in the polls. So what do they do? They lie, and they make up a story that I said something bad about Milwaukee. And I just ask you this, who would do that? Who would say something bad about a place that you want to win? You want to win over? The only thing I say is I want to keep this election nice and honest. And if we do that, I'm going to be very happy. But I love Milwaukee, and that's why I picked it. All right, Mr. President, you get a roundtable to get to. Good luck today. Do you believe, with any chance, inflation gets under control between now and November? -Biden has totally lost control of inflation. It's back. It's raging back. The number today was very high, very bad. It's actually much higher, because they exclude various categories. It's actually much higher than that. The number is out of control. Biden has no idea what the hell he's doing. He's the worst president in the history of our country. And I have something -- but I have some good news. Where's Brian Jack? He's a man I've known for a long time. He's running in Georgia 3. It's going -- he's going to be a fantastic congressman. District 3, Brian Jack. Very simple name. Don't put him around, you know. You can do it either way, Jack Brian or Brian Jack. He's a great guy. He's been with me for seven years, and he's always wanted to run for Congress. And this is where he was born, where he grew up. He knows it well. He loves the people. He won't be fantastic. You know who Brian is? -Yeah. -You do now. -Let's talk about it. It's all run by the White House. Every one of the cases that you mentioned, as an example, following every single case that's been given, civil, criminal, it's election interference, because Joe Biden can't put two sentences together. He can't bind the stairs off the stage. Joe Biden is using this to try and get elected, and it's a shame. So far, it's backfiring, as you know, because we just had balls come out, and, frankly, they're the best balls I've ever had. This is a disgraceful because we're a third-world country, but that's what it is. That's what we have to put up. It's all coming out of the DOJ. A thing like this has never happened before. They're trying to protect the man who's grossly incompetent and the worst president in the history of our country. -I can't pay money. How would you say -- Hold on. Hold on. No, look. How about campaign money? He's only talking about -- how about money? Campaign money. R&B has been trailing Democrats with campaign fundraising. You're here in Georgia to raise money. Are you going to be able to catch up to Democrats when it comes to campaign tax? -Well, I'm not working very hard at it. I came here the other night, which is an all-time record, I believe. I think we did 24 and we did 52 and we did it pretty easily. I didn't need three presidents. I did it myself. I didn't need so-called stars. We did it ourselves. The Republican Party has a lot of money coming into it. It's coming in in small donations, $61 average. We did some large donors the other night. We broke the all-time record, $52 million. We don't need the money that day. If you remember, Hillary Clinton -- I had about one-third the money that she had. And who won? I'm not exactly sure. Who won? So we don't need the same kind of money that they need. They need more money because they take care of more politicians. They end it up like it's gravy. And, you know, when you look at what they did with jooker bucks and with the lock boxes and everything else, it's really a disgrace. We don't need nearly the money that they need. In Florida, as an example, I put up a very small amount of money. They put $300 million into Florida. I put peanuts into Florida, and I won by 2 million votes. So we don't need the same money that they need. Plus, I had a great four years, and Biden has one of the worst presidencies in history -- he's destroying our country -- between Israel and October 7th. That should have never happened. Ukraine and Russia should have never, ever happened. That was something Russia would have never attacked Ukraine if I were president. The inflation is out of control, and now it's out of control again. They brought down the rate so fast, we just want to get elected, and it's going to work out just fine. -Have you spoken to Prime Minister Netanyahu? Obviously, the White House is issuing a start warning. Do you think that the U.S. is not doing enough to show support for Israel, or are you going to go? -Biden has totally lost control of the Israel situation. He has abandoned Israel. He's totally abandoned Israel. And, frankly, you know, he's a low-IQ individual. He has no idea where he is and who he's supporting. He doesn't know if he's supporting the Palestinians, but he knows one thing -- he is not supporting Israel. He has abandoned Israel, and any Jewish person that votes for a Democrat or votes for Biden should have their head examined. -We're going to come with you, Prime Minister Netanyahu. Are you going to talk with me on your side? Would you try it? -Oh, I think they're very happy with my statement, because we brought it into what it was. It was always about states' rights, and we brought it there, and everybody's very happy. With the exception of a few people -- individual people that have their own agenda, people are very happy with my statement of abortion. And you'll see it all again. Everything about abortion -- it was all about bringing it back to the states. Every legal scholar, everybody from the Democrats or Republicans, they wanted to bring it back. For 53 years, bring it back to the states. I did that, and now he's going to -- they're all working it out. Oh, what I'm going to do is I'm going to be voting for Brian Jack to stand right here, who's running for Congress, District 3, and he's going to be in Georgia, and he's going to be a big-time politician, and he loves our country, and he loves Georgia. He's going to be a big-time politician. -I'm going to ask you, how do you feel about Bonnie Willis's change on vacation? -Well, she should be in our case. She's been totally discredited and shocking that she's in our case. Her lover was thrown off the case, and she should be thrown off with it. Bonnie Willis did this to get vacations. I mean, you take a look at the kind of money -- and by the way, she never paid her back in cash. And if she did, she's got a bigger problem, because you can't do that, and it's really -- she said she just -- campaign cash. You paid her back. You're not allowed to do that. So, by the way, that's a crime. She's a criminal. So, Bonnie Willis has been totally discredited. That case should end, and I think it's a big insult to Georgia that the case is going forward. I don't know if it's going forward. Nobody knows that. But if it does go forward, it's a big insult to Georgia. She is a corrupt individual. He was corrupt. She was corrupt. Nobody's ever seen anything like it. And I suspect that case is going to be terminated, because it has absolutely no credibility. -Hey, Mr. President, we're talking about the polling number. -Absolutely. We're just crushing Biden. It continues to go up. Follow that. -We just said, "I'm crushing Biden in the polls." That's true. I appreciate that question. Thank you, Brian. Thank you very much. We are doing great in the polls. We have a campaign, because they have no policies. People are destroying our country. They're coming in. By the way, they've been taking things in their hands. They have no policies that are good. Complete Afghanistan, high taxes, big inflation. Everything they do is bad. They want to quadruple everyone's taxes. There's no way that a man like this should be even allowed in government. As far as I'm concerned, he's a criminal. And what he's doing with his weaponry of the Justice Department, every single trial that you read about and that you report about, and generally, fairly, every one of these trials is run by the DOJ and the White House, every single one, including Bonnie, because her lover spent eight hours -- I think her lover, Wade, spent eight hours, at least on numerous occasions each day, working and coordinating with the White House. How do we hurt Trump so that maybe Biden can eke out a victory? I don't think it's going to happen. I don't think the people are going to stand for it. I'm sure the people are going to stand for it. These people have weaponized government. They've weaponized the Justice Department. They've done something that nobody has ever done before in this country. It's done a lot in third-world countries and banana republics, never in this country. And so far, based on the polls that came out today and over the last fairly long period of time, if you look back over the last four or five months, I'm leading every single poll, and I'm leading them by a lot. We are a nation in decline. Biden is the worst president in the history of our country. He's corrupt, and he's incompetent. He can't put two sentences together, and I think we're going to have a tremendous victory. I predict that November 5th will go down as the most important day in the history of our country. That's election day. It's going to be the most important day and moment in the history of our country. We're going to close up our borders, and we're taking all of the criminals out, because many of the people that came in, they came from jails, they came from insane asylums and mental institutions, many terrorists, many drug dealers at the highest level. They're all coming into our country. I predict that November 5th, it's all going to turn around. We're going to get our country back. This incompetent man that's president, he's a terrible person, he's a terrible president. He's a Manchurian candidate, if you look at him, because he gets money from everybody. He's a Manchurian candidate. I predict that Biden is going to be gone in six months now. That's all we have, but six months is a long time, because the damage he can do in six months, he's done more damage than the 10 worst presidents in the history of our country. There has never been anybody that's damaged our country like Rick and Joe Biden. As soon as Trump landed, he said a few words to the camera, talked to fans, shook hands. Biden landed. He said hi to some politicians, then disappeared to do an SUV. Biden is in Brownsville, which used to be a migrant hotspot until the governor secured it with razor wire. Razor wire Biden tried to snip. There's no action in Brownsville. Last night, only six migrants crossed. That's why Biden chose it for his photo op. Biden didn't even look at the razor wire that secured the border in Brownsville. They took him to a sanitized setup where not a single migrant was being processed. Probably safer this way. Jonathan Garcia says he met the girl at a soccer game and thought she was 13. Mr. Garcia, I don't know about in Guatemala, but in Estados Unidos, 13 is still rape. Many of Biden's newcomers are unfamiliar with, how shall I say it, our cultural standards. And now we're reporting a migrant rape almost every day. Immigration is the top issue in this country. And Trump has a 35 point advantage on it. A 35 point advantage on the top issue in America. That's the reason Biden went to Texas. He's struggling to save himself from political deportation. You know how you know when it's political? When they tell you it's not. >> This is not about politics for the president. And it was not about politics. This is not about politics for the president. So again, not about politics because this is not about politics. >> Biden and Trump brought every news camera in the country to the border today. It's an optics war and Trump won. The voters have soured on Joe. There is no coming back. >> He's wasting his time. Mr. President, what are you doing here? By a stroke of a pin, you can stop this. You don't need Congress. >> It feels like it's a day late in a dollar short. >> I don't know what his purpose is, to be quite honest. We've had this situation for years. He has not shown up. It just seems a little too little too late. >> Biden could have come to the border, apologized to the agency smeared with the racist whipping hooks. He could have witnessed a detention center stuffed to the gills. He could have said Lake and Riley's name, but he didn't. The president's fading like a ghost. Nothing's clicking. The Supreme Court's throttling his legal strategy. 100,000 Democrats just voted against him in Michigan. Migrants are on a murder spree and his dog bites everyone in sight.
