You know, it's always an honor for me to be in the Oval Office with the greatest president of my lifetime. Yes, I said it, and I meant it. You know, I was just, I just got home last night. I toured the border in California, Arizona, and Texas. I did it on a four-wheel drive, I did it on the river, I did it from the air. Hundreds upon hundreds of miles of border. I didn't see one illegal alien. Not a single one. I've done this since 1984. I worked for six different presidents. No one has done more than President Trump. What he has done is gave us the most secure border in the history of this nation. Hard to stop. I went to hundreds of miles of border and didn't see one illegal alien. Incredible, considering the Biden administration, we had 10,000, 12,000 a day. Most released in the United States. I'm proud to be with these patriots behind me. I'm already proud to be in the Oval Office of the President, but being with these heroes, I met some of these soldiers down on the border. And actually, a shout out to Fort Drum, New York. We got some 10th Mountain division here, so at least upon it, Claudia 10, we all love Fort Drum and the 10th Mountain. So look, this is a game changer. I want to make something perfectly clear. Could we get attacked all the time being inhumane? The Biden administration is much more humane. It's just a bunch of crap. Because there's been studies done that 31% of women that make that journey through the cartels get sexually assaulted. They get raped. And not just the women, children too. I've done numerous investigations in that. Sex trafficking was a historic highs with an open border. Fat no, historic highs that killed a quarter million Americans. No inspected terrorists that came across the border. Record historic. What happened under Biden administration was the most inhumane thing I've seen in my lifetime. Now that the border is 96% decline, 96% less people are coming. How many women aren't being raped? How many children aren't dying making that journey? How many women and children aren't being sex trafficked into this country every day? How many known suspected terrorists aren't just walking across that border? President Trump in this administration is saving thousands of lives every month. Hard to stop. That's just a stone cold fact. I'm just proud to be a part of this. I work with Steve Miller every day. Steve Miller is one of the most brilliant people I've met in my entire life. President Trump bought together one hell of a team here and the success proved. We all working together, one team, one fight. We're not done yet. We're going to keep going and I guarantee we can continue saving thousands and thousands of lives. They know that when they signed up to do this job they knew exactly what it was going to entail and they've never stopped protecting this border and they won't stop just because of people like Karen bass say and stupid things they're going to continue. >> And you talk about that calling Paul the applications up 70% people are continuing to want to come but I want to talk for a moment about then you see the applications there. I want to talk about the unbelievable closing of the border, the job that the men and women in green have been able to do along the 2000 mile long border from Texas to California just blows my mind when I think about what it was a year ago when I spent last December in eagle past Texas in other areas with thousands coming across every day out they now 0 in 7 straight months of no releases into the country, how are you able to do it. >> Griff yeah, you're one of the few that spent a lot of time on the border and can see exactly what is happening now versus what happened then and you know serving under 5 presidents, I can tell you this president Trump did more in 2 weeks from day one to 2 weeks within that time period he did more for this country by securing the border then the other presidents that I served under 5 total did in their entire 4 or 8 year term and so we have completely closed down the border. There are no gotaways there's nobody coming across we're going after every single person in this country that made it across under Joe Biden's tenure because of the fact that we've been able to secure the border like no other president has ever allowed us to secure it before. >> In that video our viewers are seeing there the Border Patrol chief Mike banks put a one year ago picture to what it is now and you see all that trash littering the banks of Brownsville Texas heck Paul may have actually shot some of this border border video and put it on there was unbelievable it's the at the end of the day though with 93% year-over-year border crossings down there's still a bit more work to do what say you. >> Yeah look for the first time in the nation's history we are going to gain what is called operational control, you know we've got another 3 years under president Trump after this first year we're going to get it done because he's given us the support like chief bank said you know we we've got great support from chief banks from secretary known from Tom Holman from the administration itself so we're going to be able to do what no other president has ever done. - Look, I can tell you right now, the Border Patrol morale is going through the roof. We've had the handcuffs taken off. We're allowed to actually do our job, which is go out and enforce the law. Under this administration, they have literally taken the handcuffs off and allowed us to enforce law instead of policies that were created to contradict the law. And so our morale has continued to rise. I met you out in the field today. I was over on Rio Grande yesterday, outstanding morale in El Paso today, visiting with troops out here and the agents, and the morale is just through the roof. - And how's recruiting? - Recruiting's looking great. We're seeing some of our highest numbers ever. Really excited about that because as you know, during the previous four years under the Biden administration, we saw a mass exodus from the Border Patrol and we saw some of our lowest recruiting numbers. We're seeing the opposite. We're seeing agents pull retirement paperwork in order to continue staying in and serve, and we're seeing our recruiting numbers go through the roof. And so, and from the clip you showed earlier, Dana, that I wanna really, really drive it home. That very area that you were talking about in Eagle Pass was seeing an average of three to 4,000 a day. Right now, Eagle Pass, Texas, is seeing an average of 18 apprehensions a day and very few getaways, little to none. Some days, zero gotaways. You can't paint a better picture on the level of security we have on this border. It's making our border safer. It's making our community safer. One of the pictures you showed is a park, in Eagle Pass, Texas, called Shelby Park. That park's been returned to the citizens of Eagle Pass. They can now go out there and golf. They can enjoy their park. That's been returned to the rightful owners of that park because we've been able to make it safe and secure by reducing the total number of aliens riding around.
