Today I'm a little more careful, I wanted to be. I want to cover up that little area up there, it's a little bit soft up there. Cover it up. Now, it was great. But you did, you had the greatest product, it was just fantastic. And right here in Detroit, Americans invented the muscle car and the minivan and the family SUV, so much. And along the road, you made the American automobile an inseparable part of the, and it was inseparable of the American dream, it was part of the American dream. But after decades and decades of Michigan auto workers giving our nation their very best, our leaders in Washington did their very worst for them, they were terrible. You lost nearly 4 million manufacturing jobs after globalist politicians gave us the twin disasters of NAFTA, which I terminated, and China's entry into the World Trade Organization, that was a very expensive two things. Nearly a quarter of a million jobs were destroyed here, right here in Michigan alone, think of it, a quarter of a million, 250,000 jobs, including 40% of all of the auto jobs, and then it got to be much higher than that. Detroit was decimated as if by a foreign army. This was a foreign army invading us, but it was an army of business people, very brilliant business people that took the candy out of our pockets just like you take it from a baby. That's how easy it was for them. Factories were left in ruins, beautiful hotels and theaters crumbled, more than 80,000 homes were abandoned. And you see it outside.

It was just announced last month, inflation surged once again and surged very badly. Joe Biden's inflation tax continues to take away 30 to 50 percent of every dollar you have. It's a 50 percent tax. Perhaps most tragically of all, the 50 percent Biden inflation tax hits working Americans and young Americans artists. It also hits African-Americans and Hispanic Americans like as hard as they've ever been hit. It's a massive wealth confiscation from the people who need it most and from people also that produce our jobs. Crooked Joe and his cronies are getting rich while you're struggling to get by. If you're a young person, Joe Biden has completely pulled the rug out from under you. There is no longer an American dream. He's made it impossible for you to save to buy a house or to have a wedding while simultaneously driving up the price of everything for which you want to save. The month I left office, the 30 year mortgage rate was 2.65 percent. Now it's almost eight percent. Joe Biden is the worst president for young people in American history. The Biden inflation tax is also crushing corner stores, restaurants and small businesses of all kinds, including those owned by millions and millions of African-Americans and Hispanic Americans. They're the ones that are taking this the hardest. They're the ones that have just told Joe Biden we don't want you anymore. Look at the poll numbers. The Hispanic Americans, African-Americans don't want Joe Biden anymore. He's destroying their dream. One thing is very clear. Whether you're young or old, black or white, you can't afford four more years of Crooked Joe Biden, the worst ever.
