Today, I am proud to announce my nomination of Troy Edgar as the next United States Ambassador to El Salvador. Since returning to DHS on January 20th, Troy has shown outstanding leadership, delivering strong results in protecting our Homeland, and supporting our America First Agenda. His experience, discipline, and deep understanding of Border Security and Western Hemisphere challenges make him the PERFECT choice for this critical post. El Salvador is one of our most important partners in the region. President Nayib Bukele has been a tremendous ally in the fight against Crime, Cartels, and Chaos, and together, we are building the safest and strongest neighborhood our hemisphere has ever seen. Troy will play a key role in advancing our Western Hemisphere strategy, strengthening cooperation with President Bukele, and ensuring the Safety and Prosperity of BOTH our Nations — A big step toward restoring American Strength across Latin America!

I am pleased to announce that Nicole McGraw will serve as the next United States Ambassador to Croatia. Nicole is a philanthropist, businesswoman, and World renowned art collector. She opened her first art gallery in Palm Beach Gardens in 2006, and has since built a client base that spans the Globe, as well as a successful hedge fund specializing in fine art investments. Nicole has brought fine art to the People through her work leading CANVAS Art Charities, and raised Millions of Dollars for neglected and abused children as a Board Member of Place of Hope. She is a graduate of Southern Methodist University with a BFA in Art History and Studio Art. Congratulations Nicole!

I am pleased to nominate Herschel Walker as United States Ambassador to the Commonwealth of the Bahamas. Herschel has spent decades serving as an Ambassador to our Nation’s youth, our men and women in the Military, and athletes at home and abroad. A successful businessman, philanthropist, former Heisman Trophy winner, and NFL Great, Herschel has been a tireless advocate for youth sports. During my First Term, he served as Co-Chair of the President’s Council on Sports, Fitness, and Nutrition. Herschel has traveled to over 400 Military installations around the World, removing the stigma surrounding mental health. He represented the United States at the 1992 Winter Olympics as a member of the U.S. bobsled team. Congratulations Herschel! You will make Georgia, and our entire Nation, proud, because we know you will always put AMERICA FIRST!

I am pleased to announce the nomination of Lou Rinaldi to serve as the next United States Ambassador to Uruguay. A successful businessman, entrepreneur, and longtime friend, Lou brings a lifetime of experience and unique perspective to this important role. Lou is a great golfer, and will be in a Country with some terrific courses. Having grown up in Uruguay, he possesses an intimate understanding of the Country’s culture and history. His expertise and background make him exceptionally qualified to advance U.S. interests, and strengthen the longstanding partnership between the United States and Uruguay. Congratulations Lou!

I am pleased to announce that I will nominate Arthur Graham Fisher as the next United States Ambassador to the Republic of Austria. Art is President of Fisher Realty, a full service real estate firm founded in 1977, with three offices in the beautiful mountains of North Carolina. He has been consistently ranked as a top broker in the area, and the State of North Carolina, representing many of the most astute clients in America. Art has been a staunch supporter of America First Policies, and will make us proud in Austria!

I am pleased to announce that Tom Barrack will serve as our next Ambassador to Turkey. For three decades, Tom successfully managed a global private equity firm. He is a well respected and experienced voice of reason to a wide range of thought leaders in both political and business circles. Tom was born and raised in Southern California, and earned a BA and JD from the University of Southern California and University of San Diego where he was a member of Law Review. Congratulations Tom!
