I am pleased to announce George Edward Glass as our next United States Ambassador to Japan. In my First Term, George was the U.S. Ambassador to Portugal. As a former President of an Investment Bank, George will bring his business acumen to the Ambassador’s position. George graduated from the University of Oregon, served as Alumni President, and on its Board of Trustees. He will always PUT AMERICA FIRST. Congratulations George!
I am pleased to announce that Edward Sharp Walsh, P.E., will serve as United States Ambassador to Ireland. Edward is the President of the Walsh Company, a very successful nationwide construction and real estate firm. He is a great philanthropist in his local community, and previously served as the Chairman of the New Jersey Schools Development Authority Board. He is also a Champion Golfer, a very good asset for the Ambassador of Ireland to have. Do well Ed!
