## What the media says

> Let's bring in Mahek Cook, attorney and CEO of American Frontier Strategies. The president is laying all of this at the feet of his predecessor. He says the Biden administration made it too easy to enroll in Obamacare and even incited people to enroll new claimants, even if they weren't necessarily legitimate, Mahek. Well, John, that's correct. I mean, remember Obamacare was there to help the worst of the worst people that were in poverty that really needed help in government aid. And what did Joe Biden do? He came in and he ensured that there were lax laws so that immediately somebody that is now a healthcare provider, I call them fraudulent fixers, John, they came in and they were motivated to get people on the Obamacare exchange. So they not only stole identities of individuals, they changed people's status when they didn't even know that they were enrolling in this healthcare and then they continued to collect checks. And the only reason that we know about this fraud is because President Trump has flipped the script. No longer does government own us. They owe us, they owe every taxpayer money because we have been robbed blind from all of the Democrat policies that have allowed for these lax laws and not enough oversight. And that's what President Trump is bringing back. I can't remember the last president who said, "We overcharged you and we're going to give your money back." That's what businesses say. That's what successful businesses say. And that's exactly what President Trump is doing for taxpayers today. Take a look at the chart. In 2021, the first year of the Biden administration, there were 12 million people on the Obamacare rolls. By 2025, that number had doubled, 24 million. So it's, I guess, understandable that the administration would go looking for fraud there because of the way so many of these people were enrolled. John, you're right, and many of the enrollees weren't even asking for healthcare. They had never visited a doctor. So you start scratching your head and first you say, "How did that number double?" That's the first alert as a compliance attorney I look at. If you're spending 12 million and then it's doubling and then you remember the open border that Joe Biden allowed, millions upon millions of illegals to come into our country, less checks and balances, that screams fraud. And then you start looking at some of these fraudulent fixers and you start realizing they're making millions of dollars. So this is exactly what we needed. Every time I look at tax season, I know my business is being audited and it's time to start auditing Washington. And that's what President Trump did through Doge. And that's not what he's doing through every single program, but the numbers just don't make sense. And anytime that happens, it's a red flag and this is why we need more audits in government. That checks and balances works both ways. And President Trump made that announcement in the great state of Ohio where I live in. So people are excited to get that $500 back in my state and 30 other states. We're finally being recognized because many of us have been saying, John, we're being overtaxed, we're being overcharged and there's fraud occurring. And President Trump is the only president who actually listened. The vice president is talking about how the fraud was established. Listen. What happened under the Biden administration is that we created a brokerage program whereby we would pay a broker, I think $25 if they enrolled somebody in Obamacare. OK, sounds reasonable. However, we would also at the same time, we massively relaxed the eligibility criteria and also the checks. So imagine what happens when you make it much, much easier to enroll fraudulent people in Obamacare while simultaneously paying brokers to enroll people in Obamacare. You get a lot of fraud. And that's the fraud that they're trying to claw back now, Mahak. John, that's right, these are the fraudulent fixtures. I mean, basically what the Biden administration did was say, we are going to incentivize you to go out and find as many individuals that can enroll in Obamacare. And then essentially you're getting a kickback from enrolling individuals. So you were seeing massive amounts of fraud because again, many of these individuals didn't ask to enroll, didn't even know that their health care status was enrolling. So instead now, in the future, what we really need are codes for individuals that are actually enrolling so that they can check a box and say, yes, I need to enroll in Obamacare. But that wasn't occurring. So anybody on the side of fraud could essentially say, I'm going to enroll hundreds and thousands of people and make millions of dollars at taxpayer expenses. And President Trump is putting an end to it. At $25 a head, yeah, you can see why they would want to get as many people enrolled as they could. cook. Thanks. Thank you.

# Analysis

_Machine-generated by trump.fm on 2026-10-04T21:14:21.628Z (UTC): a model's reading of this post, not his words. Its psychological terms describe the language, not a clinical assessment of him._

## A signed thank-you for an unseen video

The whole text is six words: "Thank you Mehek! President DJT." The analyzable material is the attached .mp4, which isn't described or transcribed in the materials provided. Who Mehek is and what the video shows can't be recovered from the post. The most likely reading, given the format, is a supporter-made tribute, testimonial or performance being thanked and re-broadcast. That reading is an inference from genre, not from content, and every conclusion below is limited by it.

## What the gratitude is doing

The post thanks someone by first name only, with an exclamation mark and no qualifier. That is warmer and less transactional than his usual acknowledgments, which tend to rate the person ("great," "fantastic," "a true patriot"). There is no self-description and no rating of the supporter. Nothing in the text attacks or names an opponent. If the video praises him, the post is supply-seeking by proxy. The admiration lives in the attachment, and the caption's job is to put it in front of his audience under his signature. If the video is about something else, such as a song or a policy message, the post is routine maintenance. Either way the trigger reads as low-arousal amplification. Nothing in the text points to an injury being answered.

At the trait level, the thanks is a small communion gesture, and it is the only salient feature. The single word "Thank" carries a moment of agreeableness. Extraversion shows mildly in the public, exclamatory acknowledgment. No neuroticism markers appear: there is no hostility, no grievance and no urgency.

## The signature as identity claim

"President DJT" is the one element with longitudinal weight. The same afternoon carries "A beautiful picture with the Great Leader of China, President Xi Jinping! President DONALD J. TRUMP," and in this period the signed sign-off has become a recurring device. Even a six-word thank-you closes with the title. The office goes in front of the initials, so the identity claim rests on rank rather than name. This repeats across the day's feed rather than surfacing here for the first time. It fits the high-status self-presentation documented across his archive and stops short of grandiosity, since nothing in the post inflates him beyond the factual title.

## Where this sits in the day

The surrounding Sunday posts are a mix of media-only uploads, a shared Just the News article crediting tariffs for an Ohio pharmaceutical campus, and the Xi photograph. None of them is combative. The Hormuz standoff and the funding fight in the preceding week don't surface here. This post belongs to a low-conflict stretch of curation and reputation management, and it shows no sign of a reactive burst.

## Authorship

The post went up at 20:50 UTC, which is 4:50 p.m. Eastern on a Sunday (his location that weekend isn't established here, but all of his usual residences are on Eastern time). That falls inside the aide-typical window. The text is too short to carry stylometric errors, drift or caps. Two features cut in opposite directions. The first-name, exclamation-mark thanks and the "President DJT" sign-off match the format he has used for posts he dictates or approves personally. Posting a supporter's video with a stock caption is also exactly the kind of task staff handle. Personal sign-off on the content is plausible. Whether he typed it himself can't be settled from six words.

## Cognitive and rhetorical features

Six words are too few to test for word-finding problems, paraphasia or loss of coherence, so this post adds nothing to the cognitive baseline either way. Rhetorically the post contains no claims, superlatives, out-group references or calls to action, so there is nothing to fact-check. Its one persuasive move is indirect. Thanking a named individual on the main account treats the follower as someone the president personally sees, which is a parasocial gesture. The reach of that gesture depends on content in the video that isn't available here.

## That day

_From trump.fm's machine-generated digest of the day, not his words._

**After Fox & Friends skips his Ohio rally, Trump spends the afternoon posting portraits of himself, one captioned "Super Intelligence"**

Trump spent Sunday morning angry that Fox & Friends skipped his Ohio rally. He called a Fox contributor "stupid" and predicted the network would lose its viewers. He also shared a video that names a woman who protests at his properties, asked who is paying her, and called Jack Smith a "Crooked Prosecutor." Early in the afternoon he put up a fast string of flattering pictures of himself, including one labeled "Super Intelligence," along with photos beside China's Xi Jinping and a swipe at the judge in the Kennedy Center naming fight and at the judge's wife. The anger came in short flashes and never built, and every post went up in daytime hours.
