Heartbroken, he wanted to go to the funeral. When Trump heard this, he dropped his busy schedule and used his private jet to take Michael there. From that day on, their friendship became very close. When Michael Jackson was falsely accused by countless people, Donald Trump stood up and said this. "I'm gonna stick up for him because nobody else is, but I don't believe it." Trump angrily criticized the mother who accused Michael of child molestation. "And she goes after him viciously and violently, and I saw a story and I read another story about some of the things she's done, and I don't believe it." While many hoped for MJ to be jailed, Trump was the only one who defended him. We can't say who was behind the smear campaign against Michael, but Trump gave him best support. "I love Michael Jackson, so..." "Michael was a great friend of ours, actually, and he lived in Trump Tower for a long period of time."
