## What the media says

**Video transcript** (2:04), transcribed automatically, so names and numbers may be wrong. Speakers aren't identified, so a voice in it may not be his:

> Please go ahead. Yeah, my name's Nick Shirley. I'm 23 years old. I'm 100% independent YouTube journalist. And over the past year or so, I've been able to go to 15 countries. I've hung out with people in the gangs of Brazil and the favelas in the prisons of Secat. But yet, the most dangerous places I have been have been here in the United States, unfortunately. And I've had the opportunity to show people about the protest in Tifa here in the United States. And there's nothing organic about what they are doing here in the United States. I've watched people be bused in from states. I've watched the same lady at a protest in Atlanta be bused to protest in DC and then in New York City. There's nothing that is honest about what they are doing. And they have signs. I've seen the same signs here in DC and in London as well. It's a big organization and corporation that they're running. And people may wonder, like, what's the threat to us as Americans if we go? Well, you'll be labeled as a fascist. You'll be labeled as a Nazi. And they'll wish death upon you because they wish death upon me. And just last week in Portland, Oregon, I watched a lady get trapped in her car surrounded by Antifa. And her sister messaged me after seeing the video. She said, the only reason I think my sister was safe is because you were there recording. I also was chased out by a member of Antifa who said he would smoke me. And next thing he knew, a DHS sniper had lasers on his chest. If he was not there, who knows what would have happened? That day. These people are very dangerous. And people wonder how they're able to do it. The reason is because these cities are not enforcing the law. And why should these people be worried if the law is not being enforced? And we are not far right, nor are we far wrong. We're just right. And the truth about what's happening here in America with these groups is very dangerous. And I thank you, Mr. President, and your administration as well for acknowledging that. Thank you very much. It's too bad you have to go through it. I know, it's a little crazy, right, Mr. President? Well, you're going to get to the bottom of it. So it's a very important thing you're doing. Thank you very much.

# Analysis

_Machine-generated by trump.fm on 2026-09-09T05:14:40.744Z (UTC): a model's reading of this post, not his words. Its psychological terms describe the language, not a clinical assessment of him._

## Summary

This post is a video repost with no original text from the subject, so clinical/linguistic analysis is necessarily thin. The selected content — a supporter praising Trump/DHS while alleging organized, "corporate" Antifa activity and describing an armed federal sniper targeting a protester as a positive deterrent — fits a recurring pattern of amplifying order-vs-chaos narratives that frame opposition protest movements as an illegitimate, coordinated enemy meriting forceful suppression. No words are directly attributable to Trump; the assessed behavior is selection and amplification, not authorship of the claims within. Timing (posted ~11:35 PM Eastern) is consistent with, though not proof of, personal rather than staff posting, but with no written text this can only speak to who chose to post, not to any voice or wording — confidence on authorship is capped at low. Danger level is assessed as elevated rather than high/critical: the clip does not call for violence outright, but it normalizes lethal-force display (a sniper's laser sight) against a civilian demonstrator and reinforces dehumanizing, enemy-framing rhetoric about a domestic protest movement. This warrants continued longitudinal tracking alongside the week's other law-enforcement and DHS-funding-related amplifications, particularly given the same week's Kennedy Center, Harvard funding-demand, and DHS shutdown-negotiation posts showing a broader pattern of adversarial framing toward institutions and dissenting groups.

## Post Analysis: ts_116021823422525782 (2026-02-06)

**Format note:** This post has no original text from the subject — only an attached video. There is no stylometric evidence to analyze (no typos, punctuation, capitalization, or wording that can be attributed to him). The sole speaker, Nick Shirley (a self-described independent journalist), is the author of all wording, claims, and framing in the clip. The analyzable act is Trump's *selection and amplification* of this specific interview segment, not any language of his own.

### Levels 1–3 (Traits / Motives / Narrative Identity)
Direct trait inference is thin given the absence of Trump's own words. What is inferable is at the level of curatorial choice: he elevated a young supporter who frames Antifa as a coordinated, "bused-in," corporation-like operation; casts himself/observers as persecuted truth-tellers threatened with being "labeled a fascist" or "wished death upon"; and explicitly thanks Trump and DHS for validating this narrative and (implicitly) for a show of armed force (a "DHS sniper" placing a laser sight on an alleged Antifa member's chest). This fits a recurring pattern in Trump's amplification behavior: positioning his administration as restorer of order against a portrayed illegitimate, violent, "astroturfed" opposition, with Democrat-led cities cast as complicit through non-enforcement of law. The contrasting other is Antifa/"these cities"/non-enforcing local authorities; the implicit protagonist role conferred on the administration is protector/order-restorer.

### Level 4: Clinical Indicators
Individual clinical inference (narcissism, defenses, rage) cannot be responsibly drawn from a repost containing none of the subject's own language — doing so would attribute the guest's affect and framing to Trump, which the sourcing instructions explicitly caution against. What can be documented is the *behavioral/selection* pattern: choosing to amplify content that (a) normalizes displays of lethal force (sniper laser-targeting) against a civilian protester as protective and laudable, (b) reinforces an in-group/out-group narrative (law-abiding patriots vs. an organized, well-funded "them"), and (c) frames critics/opponents as an organized, quasi-conspiratorial threat network rather than a decentralized protest movement — consistent with the broader "restorer of order vs. corrupt/dangerous opposition" narrative documented in this subject's other posts this week (e.g., DHS funding standoff, calls for enforcement).

### Rhetorical Techniques (amplified content)
The clip itself (not Trump's words) contains: appeal to fear ("they wish death upon you"), conspiratorial framing (professionalized, "bused-in" protest network), false dichotomy ("not far right, nor far wrong — we're just right"), anecdotal/emotional appeals (sister's message, near-encounter with an armed federal officer), and implicit endorsement of lethal-force deterrence as a solution to civil unrest. By posting without comment, Trump lends his platform's implicit endorsement to all of this without owning any specific claim.

### Danger Assessment
Elevated, not high/critical. The video does not come from Trump's own mouth, and no explicit call to violence is made by him. However, amplifying a narrative in which armed federal snipers using laser targeting on protesters is framed approvingly, alongside a narrative that dehumanizes an entire protest movement as an organized "them," raises the risk profile of the amplification act itself — it normalizes state use of lethal-force display against civilian demonstrators and encourages an audience read of protesters as an organized enemy meriting forceful suppression. This is a pattern worth tracking longitudinally alongside other DHS/immigration-enforcement amplifications from the same week.

- No indication of business-hours/staff-scheduled posting pattern for this item

## Psychological Profile

### State

**Mixed State**

**Trigger:** Maintenance (Routine amplification of a sympathetic interview reinforcing the administration's anti-Antifa/law-enforcement narrative; no specific injury or attack evident.)

Sentiment: +0.30

- Narcissistic: 20%
- Antisocial: 0%
- Paranoid: 30%
- Sadism: 0%

**Cognitive Complexity:**

## That day

_From trump.fm's machine-generated digest of the day, not his words._

**A midnight avalanche of grievance video, a record Dow by afternoon, and January 6th as a nightcap**

Trump made 78 posts on February 6th, but almost three-quarters of them landed in a single burst between late Thursday night and just after midnight — dozens of clips on election fraud, immigration, and the Republican Party's civil-rights history, fired off roughly one a minute, with no words of his own attached. He was up again before six in the morning, giving him about five hours of sleep. The daytime was split: a warm note about a White House preservation meeting, a sudden and vicious attack on two former aides who had criticized him on television, then a victory lap over the Dow crossing 50,000 for the first time and two winter-storm disaster approvals. He closed the day, hours after the market celebration, by returning to the January 6th committee and calling its members guilty of crimes against humanity. Notably absent: any mention of the Winter Olympics opening in Milan, the India trade deal, or the Iran nuclear talks his own envoys were conducting.
