## What the media says

**Video transcript** (3:26), transcribed automatically, so names and numbers may be wrong. Speakers aren't identified, so a voice in it may not be his:

> Green met CEO Drew horn joins me now. Judy heard the president there What do you think he means when he says quote that's gonna be a big problem for him meaning the premiere of Greenland? Well, thanks for having me. I guess I would say I think it's a big problem on multiple fronts Mainly because his own people have made it quite clear in Greenland that they want support from the United States There is no NATO. There is no Greenlandic security without the United States We're already providing not only the security of Greenland, but essentially Denmark's the entire European security It's ridiculous for him to talk about how he's gonna have to choose between the two and he's not speaking with consent of his own Constituents when making these kinds of ridiculous statements So I think president Trump is absolutely right to call him on that ridiculous statement as we wait to see what comes out of this meeting Between Vance Rubio Greenland and Denmark. Is there a sweet spot here? Drew where everyone gets what they want everyone gets what they need and quite frankly everyone gets to see face and if so drew What is that sweet spot? There absolutely is a sweet spot and you know I think that there's just a lot of you know, ridiculous narrative coming from the Europeans on this particular subject what president Trump is offering is billions of dollars of investment in the form of private investments and projects all of which we're looking at that span from a I data centers to multiple rare earth and critical minerals projects I mean the sky is the limit and everybody benefits from this including the Danes including the EU including NATO But most importantly the Greenlanders who have overwhelmingly said they want investment and support from the United States They want a pathway towards independence and they are absolutely tired of being exploited and oppressed by the Danes as they have been for the last Hundred years, you know, the era of colonialism is over and it's time to let people achieve their own destiny No one is going to stand in the way of the Greenlanders achieving the goal that they want and they need the United States for that Yeah to that point What do you make of this idea of increasing NATO's presence in Greenland to counteract the threat of China and Russia? Is that enough should that be enough for the United States in light of the fact that Trump has said his concern with Greenland is Chinese and Russian investment taking over whatever or is this really about the minerals and the mineral rights and being able to Unlock what Greenland has to offer to help us economically as well Well, there's obviously a joint nexus between national security and economic development I mean looking at this from the president's perspective My opinion is he realizes that you need to do both and so the reality is NATO is not able to protect itself without the United States I think we need to stop pretending that there's some sort of world in which NATO exists without the United States We've been propping it up for years and years and years and obviously the European members need to do more of a part To contribute and pull their weight so they do need to contribute more towards the collective Arctic security Obviously the United States is as it has been going to continue to be the primary contributor and protector there But at the same time collectively we need to look at investment and growth across the board that allows us to pair that with that national Security, it's overwhelmingly what the Greenlanders want. It's what the United States wants It's you know in private conversations with the Danes and the EU wants Let's just stop playing games and pretend in here and let the United States bring these options that everybody wants and we all will benefit From him drew horn with very pointed insight on Greenland. We appreciate your time this morning. Very interesting. Thanks so much for having me

# Analysis

_Machine-generated by trump.fm on 2026-09-08T19:44:39.630Z (UTC): a model's reading of this post, not his words. Its psychological terms describe the language, not a clinical assessment of him._

## Post Overview

This post carries no original text from the subject — it consists solely of a reposted cable-news segment (a Fox-style interview) featuring a host ("Judy") and guest Drew Horn discussing Greenland, NATO, and U.S. investment strategy. The transcript is entirely third-party speech: a broadcaster's questions and a guest commentator's analysis praising the subject's Greenland approach. No propositional claims in the transcript can be attributed to the subject himself, and none belong in factChecks.

## Selection and Amplification Analysis

The analyzable behavior here is curatorial, not compositional. By posting this clip without added commentary, the subject amplifies a segment that: (1) validates his adversarial framing of Greenland's premier ("ridiculous statements," "president Trump is absolutely right to call him on that"), (2) frames Denmark/Europe as free-riders on U.S. security ("NATO would not be able to protect itself without the United States"), and (3) recasts the Greenland dispute in anti-colonial liberation terms ("tired of being exploited and oppressed by the Danes... the era of colonialism is over") serving U.S. economic and mineral interests. This tracks closely with same-day written posts ("NATO: Tell Denmark to get them out of here, NOW!"; "NATO should be leading the way for us to get it... Militarily, without the vast power of the United States, much of which I built during my first term"). The video functions as external validation of positions he had just asserted in his own words hours earlier — a supply-seeking, self-reinforcing amplification rather than an isolated broadcast share.

## Level 2/3: Motives and Narrative

Selecting a segment in which a sympathetic commentator declares him "absolutely right" and casts him as a liberating dealmaker rescuing an exploited people from an illegitimate foreign leader serves an agentic, dominance- and status-affirming function. The choice positions the subject (via proxy praise) as strategic hero/rescuer figure — consistent with a broader Hero/Warrior archetypal self-presentation seen in the same-day posts. The contrasting others here are Greenland's premier ("ridiculous," lacking consent of his own constituents) and Denmark/Europe (freeloaders, colonial oppressors), while NATO and Greenlanders are cast as needing and wanting U.S. rescue.

## Level 4: Clinical Indicators

**Narcissistic features:** The clip's content flatters grandiosity by proxy (agreement that he is "absolutely right," portrayal of U.S./him as indispensable to NATO and Greenland's fate). Selection of self-flattering third-party validation is consistent with supply-seeking, though inference is indirect since no words are his own.

**Defense mechanisms:** Difficult to assess from selection alone; the broader same-day pattern (posting this validating segment alongside his own combative Greenland/NATO posts) suggests reinforcement/rationalization of an already-asserted grievance rather than the amplification introducing new distortion.

**Rhetorical/danger indicators:** The clip itself, and by extension its amplification, employs a false dichotomy (Greenland's premier "will have to choose") and anti-colonial framing repurposed toward an annexationist/security agenda; no eliminationist or violent language present. Danger level: none — geopolitical pressure rhetoric, not a threat to persons.

## Cognitive/Stylometric Notes

No text authored by the subject exists in this post, so no cognitive-status markers (word-finding, paraphasia, tangentiality) or stylometric baseline comparisons can be assessed. This limitation is noted rather than filled in with speculation.

## Authorship Attribution Reasoning

No stylometric evidence is available since there is no original text — attribution rests entirely on timing and posting-pattern inference about who selected/posted the clip, not who wrote or spoke its content. 13:26:34 UTC in mid-January corresponds to Eastern Standard Time (UTC-5), i.e., 8:26 AM ET — plausible morning-show viewing hours (many Fox Business/Fox News AM programs air 6–9 AM ET) and consistent with the subject's well-documented pattern of live-reacting to and re-sharing morning cable segments he has just watched, often paired with same-morning original Truth Social posts on the identical topic (as seen here with the companion NATO/Greenland posts from the same day). This is suggestive of authentic, real-time engagement rather than staff scheduling (aide-drafted content is typically event announcements or scheduled communications, not spontaneous re-shares of a just-aired segment), but because timing during business hours is also compatible with staff posting on his behalf, and there is no textual evidence to corroborate authorship, confidence must be capped at low.

## Summary Assessment

This post does not independently warrant a full clinical narrative summary, as it consists of amplification of a favorable news segment with no original text. It is best read in conjunction with the subject's same-day written posts on Greenland/NATO, where the grandiosity, adversarial framing toward Denmark/Greenland's premier, and self-referential claims of personally building U.S. military strength are more directly attributable and analyzable.

## Authorship Analysis

**Uncertain** (score: 60%)

### Indicators

- Posting time (~8:26 AM ET) aligns with typical morning cable-news viewing hours
- Content mirrors same-day original Truth Social posts on identical Greenland/NATO topic, suggesting real-time reactive engagement with a broadcast he watched
- No stylometric evidence available since the post contains no original written text — this score reflects only who plausibly selected/posted the clip, not who wrote or spoke its content
- Business-hours timing is also compatible with staff scheduling, which limits confidence

## Psychological Profile

### State

## That day

_From trump.fm's machine-generated digest of the day, not his words._

**A 107-minute morning burst claimed Greenland, defunded sanctuary cities, and demanded a community be expelled — then he went quiet until dinnertime.**

Trump posted nine times on January 14, almost all of it packed into a single busy stretch of early morning. The subject was expansion and punishment: he pressed his demand for Greenland three separate times, mocking Denmark's ability to defend it, while European allies were beginning to send troops there. In between, he announced he would cut off federal money to sanctuary cities starting February 1, called for Minnesota's Somali community to be "thrown out of the USA," named Rep. Ilhan Omar personally, and amplified a claim that Governor Tim Walz belongs in handcuffs — the sharpest and most alarming moment of the day. Then he went quiet for nine hours and resurfaced in the evening with a calm, businesslike note about a phone call with Venezuela's interim president. He slept normally, posted less than usual, and never once played the victim: the whole day was him on the attack.
