## What the media says

**Video transcript** (0:59), transcribed automatically, so names and numbers may be wrong. Speakers aren't identified, so a voice in it may not be his:

> Well, I'm delighted to be here with some of the truly great sports legends of all time as we formally announce the newest members of the President's Council on Sports, Fitness and Nutrition. We have an opportunity to literally change the fabric of kids' lives, and our first initiative is to bring back the President's fitness test. I think the time is so important. Obesity is the highest it's ever been. Mental health, as we all know, the need ought to be tackled. Make our youth healthy, help get them engaged in sports, and let them learn what it takes to be successful in life. Kids are healthier, they're happier, they do better when they're out there, they're being active, they're playing in sports, they're hanging out with their friends. Re-instill that spirit of competition, and that spirit and that commitment to nutrition and physical fitness, and I'm so grateful to President Trump for your leadership and bring this back for our country. ♪♪♪

# Analysis

_Machine-generated by trump.fm on 2026-03-22T03:15:05.835Z (UTC): a model's reading of this post, not his words. Its psychological terms describe the language, not a clinical assessment of him._

# Analysis: Self-Retweet with Video (2025-08-02)

## Overview
This post is a self-retweet of an earlier Trump post (from approximately July 31) with an attached video. No original text was added. The original post and video content could not be retrieved due to JavaScript rendering requirements on Truth Social.

## Authorship Attribution
Posted at 14:51 UTC, which is 3:51 PM BST (Trump was at Turnberry, Scotland during this period). Business-hours posting combined with the mechanical self-RT format strongly suggests aide management (likely Dan Scavino). Self-retweeting without added commentary is a routine content amplification practice.

## Psychological Analysis
Limited signal due to absence of original text. Self-retweeting is consistent with narcissistic supply maintenance -- ensuring maximum audience exposure for content deemed favorable. This is routine rather than clinically significant.

## Longitudinal Context
The surrounding posts from August 1-2 show a mix of aide-managed content (link shares) and more authentic posts (the Fed/Powell attack, the border patrol praise). This self-RT fits the aide-managed pattern.

## Limitations
Analysis is substantially limited by inability to access the original post text or video content. The video (MP4) likely contains the substantive content driving this reshare.

## Authorship Analysis

## That day

_From trump.fm's machine-generated digest of the day, not his words._

**Routine Grandiosity Punctured by Senate Rage Spike Over Schumer Standoff**

A quiet Saturday of self-congratulation — praising border numbers, Republican allies, and his legislative agenda — was interrupted by a sharp flash of anger over Senate Democrats' delay tactics on his nominees. Trump publicly demanded Republicans reject Chuck Schumer's bargaining and told Democrats to "GO TO HELL," then cooled off within minutes by pivoting to praise for congressional leaders. The day was otherwise unremarkable, with a brief detour into the old Russia investigation grievance and no signs of unusual posting behavior.
