> We're going to do our part at EPA and you're also seeing this as part of the debate in Congress to get President Trump's one big beautiful bill over the finish line because while there's a lot of focus on tax cuts and securing the border and interior enforcement, there's a lot in the energy and environmental space which includes refilling the strategic petroleum reserve, suspending a natural gas tax for 10 years, more oil and gas leases including more coal leases on federal land and more, and permitting reform is part of that too. So there's a lot that can be done by agencies, there's also more that can be done by Congress, all of this helps fulfill the agenda. And I understand you're EPA, you're not the energy secretary, and I know that you follow all this stuff because you have a very complex job, but we saw the president spend a lot of time in the Middle East and making a lot of deals. Does that come into play as far as the goal of reducing energy prices? Is that part of the equation? Is getting these countries more favorable leverage over these countries and better relationships with these countries will lead to cheaper energy prices throughout the country? Because that really is such a crucial part of I think what his agenda has been, which is the lower cost for the American people. When President Trump is communicating abroad with nations or meeting with foreign leaders from Washington DC or traveling overseas, such as his trip to the Middle East, there is a very robust America first agenda that he goes with to try to deliver on. And certainly energy policy is something that is top of mind, exporting American energy production or looking at what is produced on farms and so much more. There's a lot of opportunity for the American economy for us to be net exporters of these resources. And I would argue that it's better for our environment because we tap into our energy supply safer than so many other countries around the world. It's important for our national security. It's better for our economy. Certainly when the president goes to the Middle East and he has a robust America first agenda, he's thinking about American energy and he's thinking about American interest as it relates to American energy. So whether he's here at home or abroad, it's certainly something I've heard get brought up a lot. And there have been many meetings with the president in the White House, in the Oval Office, at the Resolute Desk, where he's asking tough questions. He's making big demands on these cabinet secretaries, myself included, to make sure that we're fulfilling this Trump mandate. And I'm glad that he's holding us to that standard of delivering.

## Analysis: EPA Administrator Quote Share (2025-06-18)

This post is a straightforward amplification of EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin's quote endorsing Trump's "One, Big, Beautiful Bill" legislative package, with an attached video clip. It is a routine political communications post with minimal psychological signal.

### Authorship
Posted at 5:25 PM ET (Trump likely in Washington DC area given recent birthday parade and legislative push). The post is a clean quote-share with proper attribution, no typos, no emotional reactivity, and professional formatting — classic aide/comms team output.

### Psychological Content
This is a maintenance/supply post: broadcasting surrogate endorsement to reinforce the narrative that Trump's legislative agenda has broad institutional support. The framing links energy production to economy, environment, and national security — a polished three-part rhetorical construction unlikely to originate spontaneously from Trump.

### Context
This post fits a pattern visible in the day's other posts: a mix of poll-boosting, border enforcement stats, and legislative promotion. The communications team appears to be running a coordinated messaging day around the "Big, Beautiful Bill" while Trump was politically active in DC.

### Rhetorical Techniques
- Appeal to authority (EPA Administrator endorsement)
- Three-part list ("economy, environment, national security")
- Branding ("One, Big, Beautiful Bill")

No clinically significant patterns. No danger indicators.

## That day

_From trump.fm's machine-generated digest of the day, not his words._

**A Quiet Victory Lap: Uniform Self-Promotion With Zero Rage**

A calm, self-congratulatory day dominated by boasting about economic numbers, poll results, and border security stats. The morning featured personal announcements -- including a grandiose plan to gift flagpoles to the White House -- while the evening was a rapid-fire sequence of administration officials praising the "One Big Beautiful Bill." Notably absent was any mention of the ongoing Israel-Iran war, and the day passed without a single combative or angry post.
