## What the media says

**Video transcript** (0:56), transcribed automatically, so names and numbers may be wrong. Speakers aren't identified, so a voice in it may not be his:

> (Applause.) There's nowhere I'd rather be than right here in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Tidal Town, USA. If you're here today and think that you're too young to do something great, let me tell you that you're not too young. You can have great success at a very young age. I've learned that perseverance is everything, so whatever happens, no matter where you are in life, stay optimistic and just keep pushing forward. Just don't stop. Never, ever give up. This is Alabama, and in Alabama, you fight, fight, fight, and you win, win, win. That's what you know how to do. Congratulations to you all. Congratulations to this great class of champions. God bless you, and God bless America. Thank you all very much.

# Analysis

_Machine-generated by trump.fm on 2026-03-22T01:18:19.936Z (UTC): a model's reading of this post, not his words. Its psychological terms describe the language, not a clinical assessment of him._

# Analysis: Self-Repost with Video (2025-05-02)

## Post Overview
This post is a simple self-repost ("RT:") of Trump's own earlier Truth Social post, accompanied by a video attachment. The referenced original post could not be retrieved due to JavaScript rendering requirements. The video content is also inaccessible for analysis.

## Authorship Attribution
Posted at 3:07 PM ET, during standard business hours. The mechanical "RT:" format—simply re-sharing his own prior post—is characteristic of aide-managed account activity (likely Dan Scavino), used to amplify content that performed well or to re-surface it for afternoon audiences.

## Psychological State
This post fits within a day-long pattern of narcissistic supply maintenance. The surrounding posts from the same day all share laudatory media coverage: positive quotes about the economy from Maria Bartiromo and Stephen Moore, and favorable articles about his Alabama commencement speech. The self-RT is consistent with a grandiose narcissistic state focused on validation through media praise.

## Context
The day's posting pattern shows no evidence of narcissistic injury or rage. The content is uniformly self-congratulatory, curating a media environment of praise and positive economic framing. This is routine maintenance-mode posting.

## Limitations
Without access to the original post content or the video, this analysis is necessarily constrained. The post itself contains no linguistic material for cognitive or rhetorical analysis beyond the repost mechanism.

## That day

_From trump.fm's machine-generated digest of the day, not his words._

**Grandiose Victory Lap Punctuated by Impeachment Fury and Fabricated Economic Claims**

The day was dominated by self-congratulation — reliving the Alabama commencement speech, sharing flattering media quotes, and announcing executive actions framed as historic achievements. A late-night rant against Democrats over impeachment talk was the angriest moment, with personal insults and calls for expulsion of opposition members. An early-morning claim that gasoline had dropped to $1.98 a gallon — more than a dollar below the actual national average — stood out as one of the most detached economic assertions in recent weeks. A threat to revoke Harvard's tax-exempt status continued a pattern of using presidential power as punishment for institutional defiance.
