## Post text

> The case we have against 60 Minutes, CBS, and Paramount is a true WINNER. They cheated and defrauded the American People at levels never seen before in the Political Arena. Kamala Harris, during Early Voting and, immediately before Election Day, was asked a question, and gave an answer, that was so bad and incompetent that it would have cost her many of the Votes that she ended up getting. It was a disastrous answer! 60 Minutes and its corporate parents, in order that this not have a negative impact on her, removed and deleted Kamala’s entire answer, every word of it, and replaced it with a response that she gave later on to an entirely different question. The new answer was not good, but it didn’t show Gross Incompetence like the one that was removed by 60 Minutes. In other words, 60 Minutes perpetrated a Giant FRAUD against the American People, the Federal Elections Commission, and the Federal Communications System. Despite all of the above, and Paramount’s/CBS’/60 Minutes’ admittance to this crime and, with other similar corrupt removals of answers to questions, the Failing New York Times, which is Fake News both in writing and polling, claims that “people” said that the case is baseless. They don’t mean that, they just have a non curable case of TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME, possibly to the point where the Times’ interjection makes them liable for tortious interference, including in Elections, which we are intently studying. The bottom line is that what 60 Minutes and its corporate owners have committed is one of the most egregious illegalities in Broadcast History. Nothing like this, the illegal creation of an answer for a Presidential Candidate, has ever been done before, they have to pay a price for it, and the Times should also be on the hook for their likely unlawful behavior. It is vital to hold these Liars and Fraudsters accountable!

# Analysis

_Machine-generated by trump.fm on 2026-03-22T01:17:53.464Z (UTC): a model's reading of this post, not his words. Its psychological terms describe the language, not a clinical assessment of him._

## Summary

This post revives a months-old grievance against 60 Minutes during historically low 100-day approval ratings, functioning as displacement from current political vulnerability. Trump begins with a specific legal claim about interview editing, then escalates through rage generalization to threaten the New York Times with tortious interference liability for merely reporting on the lawsuit. This scope creep represents a clinically significant pattern of narcissistic rage expansion. The pseudo-legal register (Federal Communications System for FCC, tortious interference) lends surface authority while emotional content reveals retaliatory motive. The most concerning feature is normalization of presidential legal threats against journalism. By framing standard editorial decisions as criminal fraud and press coverage as actionable interference, Trump constructs a framework where any unfavorable media treatment becomes legally punishable. The timing amid historically low approval ratings suggests supply-seeking through righteous indignation when other narcissistic supply sources are diminished. Defense mechanisms include rationalization (retaliation as accountability), projection (accusing media of fraud), displacement (old grievance for current wounds), and splitting (all-bad media vs. victimized people). The gaslighting dimension is pronounced: CBS acknowledged standard editing practices, which Trump reframes as admittance to crime.

## Psychological Analysis: 60 Minutes/CBS Lawsuit Post (2025-04-30)

### Overview
A lengthy, legally-themed post attacking 60 Minutes, CBS, Paramount, and the New York Times over the editing of a Kamala Harris interview. The post escalates from a specific legal grievance into broader threats against media organizations. Written during the 100-days period when approval ratings were historically low.

### Authorship
Posted at 9:45 AM ET. The length, grammatical coherence, and structured legal argumentation suggest aide involvement, but the emotional escalation, capitalization patterns, and rambling sentence structure are authentically Trump. Likely dictated or lightly edited by staff.

### Psychological Dynamics
The post emerges amid historically low approval ratings and functions as displacement—redirecting from current governance challenges to a months-old media grievance. The escalation from CBS complaint to threatening NYT with "tortious interference" reveals rage generalization.

### Danger Assessment
The post represents escalation in using presidential power to threaten press freedom. Threatening the NYT with legal liability for reporting on a lawsuit is a chilling-effect tactic directed at journalism itself.

## That day

_From trump.fm's machine-generated digest of the day, not his words._

**100-Day Milestone Triggers Morning Blame-Shift Before Celebratory Pivot**

Trump marked his 100th day in office with a light posting day that split neatly in two halves. The morning featured defensive blame-shifting -- insisting the stock market decline was Biden's fault and had nothing to do with tariffs -- followed by a heated revival of his CBS lawsuit grievance that expanded into threats against the New York Times. The afternoon shifted entirely to self-congratulation, sharing celebratory 100-day content with no original commentary. The overall mood was a leader clearly aware of poor polling who chose to vent briefly, then project triumph.
