> Stopping Biden’s War on Cars and America’s Middle Class!

## What the media says

**Video transcript** (4:39), transcribed automatically, so names and numbers may be wrong. Speakers aren't identified, so a voice in it may not be his:

> Joe Biden's catastrophic electric vehicle mandate isn't just putting our great autoworkers out of business, and it is doing that, it's making cars totally unaffordable for American families and consumers. If you've looked recently at buying a new car or even a used car, you know that under Crooked Joe prices have spiraled out of control like every single other product, whether it's food, whether it's fuel, anything you, they're all, the whole country is a mess with what's happened with inflation. Car prices are up nearly 30% since I left office with the average new car now costing an astonishing $50,000 and more. The typical car payment is now almost $750 a month. It's a war on American automobiles and it's a war on the American family and a war on American dream because it really is. We want the American dream back. You can't have it when you can't even buy a car. The cost is too much and the whole concept of only electric is ridiculous, but it's all because of Crooked Joe's socialist Green New Deal. Biden's electric vehicle mandate and his insane fuel economy standards, and there's no economy to it, are forcing car companies to drastically raise prices and even eliminate their affordable gas-powered models altogether, which people want. They really want those gas-powered. We have more gasoline than any country in the world. It's called oil. It's called gasoline. We have more than anybody and they're not letting us use it because they're sick people that are looking to destroy the auto workers and our country. To comply with Biden's mandate, automakers have no choice but to push consumers toward their ultra expensive electric models. And if they don't, they're punished with hundreds of millions of dollars in fines. Even buyers of gas-powered cars are being forced to cross-subsidize the massive losses carmakers are taking on electric vehicles, which is going to basically put these companies out of business. And all of the electric vehicles are going to be built in China anyway. As a result, under Biden, you practically have to be a rich person to buy a new car. And that's exactly the way the radical left communists want it. They hate the suburbs. They hate rural America. They hate the middle class and they hate the American way of life. The communists want a world where you're dependent on public transportation, which they control while the rich and powerful cruise around in luxury electric vehicles or other types of cars that are very expensive. They don't care. Looking down on the people, looking down on hard workers and looking down on the people that really built our country. With Biden's extreme mandate, the average age of a car on American roads is now over 12 years. We're becoming a Cuba, an impoverished third world nation. We have bad elections. We have bad open borders. As your president, I will stop the radical left's vindictive punishment of our middle class. I will repeal Joe Biden's electric vehicle mandate. And I will do everything in my power to achieve a drastic reduction in the cost of a new car. I will get the prices way down so that you can afford the lifestyle your family deserves. If you want a new car that you can afford, you have to vote for Trump. If you want jobs making new cars, you have to vote for Trump. If you're a United auto worker or an auto worker of any standard of any state, I don't care. They're going to destroy your business within two years. You're not going to have a job. I'm going to bring back jobs. I'm going to bring back the manufacture of automobiles in our country. Millions and millions of automobiles are brought into our country every year. And we're going to now make our own automobiles like we used to many years ago. For four years, I did a great job. And now we're going to finish that job. We're going to bring back auto manufacturing to the United States of America. Tell your union head, United auto workers, Sean Fain. Tell him to not endorse the Democrats. They're going to put you out of business. You're going to be out of a job. Doesn't matter what you get on an hourly basis. You'll be out of a job within two years. I'm going to make you rich. I'm going to get you a job. You're going to make a lot of money and you're going to make a lot of cars. We're going to bring back the car industry to America. Thank you very much. Vote for Trump.

# Analysis

_Machine-generated by trump.fm on 2026-03-24T12:12:13.000Z (UTC): a model's reading of this post, not his words. Its psychological terms describe the language, not a clinical assessment of him._

# Analysis: "Stopping Biden's War on Cars and America's Middle Class!"
**Platform:** Truth Social | **Date:** 2023-10-13 | **Local Time:** ~4:41 PM EDT

---

## Authorship Attribution

**Assessment: Aide-written (confidence: high)**

The post arrives at 16:41 EDT — squarely within business hours. Trump was almost certainly in Manhattan during this period, with his civil fraud trial in active testimony (Trump Organization controller Jeff McConney and accountant Donald Bender testifying). The timing is inconsistent with his documented late-night authentic posting pattern.

Linguistic markers reinforce aide authorship. The text is a single, typographically clean slogan with no ALL CAPS eruptions, no self-referential pronouns (no "I," "me," "my"), no ellipses, no incomplete thoughts. The gerund-imperative construction ("Stopping Biden's War") is a Scavino/campaign-team stylistic signature. This format functions as a video caption — a coordinated media drop — not spontaneous emotional output. Comparing to same-day authentic posts (the "Witch Hunt" post, the ISIS credit post), the tonal and syntactic contrast is stark: authentic Trump posts feature heavy self-reference, grievance affect, and syntactic informality entirely absent here.

---

## Contextual Framing

The post cannot be understood without its UAW strike context. Since September 15, the United Auto Workers had been conducting the first-ever simultaneous strike against all three Detroit automakers (Ford, GM, Stellantis). Biden had walked a UAW picket line — an unprecedented presidential gesture — attempting to consolidate working-class support. The Biden EPA/IRA electric vehicle transition mandates were simultaneously generating anxiety among auto workers about job displacement. Trump's campaign identified a tactical opening: to outflank Biden on his own core constituency by positioning EV policy as class aggression against the very workers Biden was courting.

The attached video (not fetched) almost certainly contains campaign ad content or a rally clip formalizing this frame.

## Psychological Analysis

**Level 1 — Traits:** The post foregrounds assertiveness (high extraversion) and dominance orientation (low agreeableness), with conscientiousness expressed through on-message discipline. Openness is characteristically minimal — the frame is black-and-white, no policy nuance entertained.

**Level 2 — Motives:** Dominant agency motive (power, control) expressed through champion-of-the-weak positioning. A secondary communion appeal activates working-class tribal identity ("Middle Class"). The communion signal here is instrumental — it serves the power motive.

**Level 3 — Narrative:** Trump is cast as Warrior-Champion interposing between aggressor (Biden) and victim (Middle Class). The narrative sequence is contamination: a once-functional American working class has been contaminated by Biden's hostile policy. The contrasting other is Biden as a class-traitor figure who publicly courts workers while covertly attacking them. No identity claims about Trump himself appear — the absence of self-reference is the tell.

**Level 4 — Clinical:** Narcissistic signal is minimal in this post. No rage, no injury response, no supply-seeking. This is maintenance messaging deployed for campaign positioning, not psyche expression.

---

## Rhetorical Analysis

The "War on [X]" construction is a proven American political frame (War on Drugs, War on Christmas, War on Coal) that activates threat-response cognition and bypasses policy deliberation. "Cars" operates as cultural metonym: it does not refer primarily to vehicles but to working-class autonomy, American industrial identity, and freedom from technocratic imposition. The compression is effective — six words encode class anxiety, tribal identity, and enemy attribution simultaneously.

**Propaganda techniques employed:** In-group identity appeal; appeal to economic fear; framing regulatory policy as hostile aggression; asymmetric naming (Biden named as aggressor, Middle Class as victim, Trump implied but unnamed as savior).

---

## Fact Verification

| Claim | Verdict | Evidence |
|-------|---------|----------|
| "Biden is waging a 'War on Cars'" | **Mostly False** | Reframes Biden EPA/IRA regulatory policy as hostile aggression. While EV mandates impose real transition costs on traditional auto manufacturing — a concern actively motivating the UAW strike — 'war' is political hyperbole for contested regulatory policy, not factual description. |
| "Biden's policies harm America's Middle Class" | **Half True** | Near-term displacement anxiety for UAW auto workers from EV transition is real and acknowledged by economists across the spectrum. Long-term employment and wage impacts are genuinely contested. Framing this as deliberate targeting of the middle class is characterization, not established fact. |

Overall Veracity: 35%

## Danger Assessment

**None.** Standard political campaign messaging. No dehumanizing language, no violent imagery, no target identification, no stochastic terrorism pattern.

---

## Longitudinal Note

Same-day posting cluster on 2023-10-13 exhibits clear bimodal authorship: campaign/institutional posts (this post, Landry endorsement, Israel hashtags) running in business hours vs. authentic grievance posts (the Witch Hunt post, the ISIS credit post) that carry Trump's unmistakable affective signature. This pattern supports systematic content stratification between authentic and aide-produced output on high-activity days.

## That day

_From trump.fm's machine-generated digest of the day, not his words._

**Six Days After October 7, Trump Converts a Massacre Into a Campaign Ad**

Trump spent the day obsessively channeling the October 7 Hamas attack into self-promotion and Biden-blaming, never once acknowledging the victims by name or expressing genuine grief. The morning brought an all-caps rant linking the massacre to the 2020 "stolen" election, and the evening ended with a rapid-fire burst that included his most dangerous claim of the day: that the same people who attacked Israel are now crossing the U.S. southern border. Throughout, the ongoing New York civil fraud trial lurked in the background, surfacing in attacks on Forbes magazine and a persecution-narrative outburst about "witch hunts." Sleep appeared limited to roughly four and a half hours, and the volume and intensity of posts stayed elevated all day.
