## Post text

_A repost of @DerrickEvans with nothing added: the words are @DerrickEvans's, not his._

> RT @DerrickEvansThis is never before released footage that I took on #Jan6. This short video cost me an 18 month legal battle, almost bankrupted our family, & will result in me spending 3 months as a political prisoner. Notice the fist bump from a police officer who was just standing there. He never told anyone to leave. Everyone was just taking pictures, and chanting “freedom”, but I reminded them to not destroy anything. The media wouldn’t show this part of the video. I’m asking you to share it for me.

## What the media says

**Video transcript** (reposted clip, 0:54), transcribed automatically, so names and numbers may be wrong. Speakers aren't identified, so a voice in it may not be his:

> We're here. We're here. Jack Evans is in the capital. Let's go! Hey, God bless you. Hey, God bless you. Alright, we still respect you, alright? Not a question, it's you. Freedom! Freedom! Freedom! Freedom! We're in. Oh my gosh. Hey, no destruction of anything. No vandalizing property. No vandalizing. Hey, no vandalizing. No vandalizing. All right, no vandalize.
