## What the media says

**Video transcript** (reposted clip, 0:35), transcribed automatically, so names and numbers may be wrong. Speakers aren't identified, so a voice in it may not be his:

> A friend of mine from California called me this morning. He just paid $8.55, he told me, "California." And you'll follow. You'll follow. It's not even believable. With the help of our great Texas oil and gas workers, we achieved American energy independence, and we were even energy dominant. And we were going to be double the size of Russia and Saudi Arabia combined. We were going to be energy dominant. Now the United States is becoming a beggar for energy. We're begging.
