Joining us now, and I'm delighted they're with us, Alex Marlowe, the great Jason Miller, both of you fabulous Americans. Couldn't think of anyone I'd rather spend time with at the end of the year. Alex, we saw a lot of infighting over the weekend, some interesting debates, important issues. But I think that tends to obscure the huge progress that has been made by Trump in 2025. Your reaction to what I just said in the angle, disagree with me if you want. I'm fine with that too. Go ahead, Alex. Yeah, you really laid out a lot there, Laura, that I absolutely loved. And I think I agree with your take on the infighting. I think a lot of it's performative. It's sort of looking like Real Housewives of MAGA all of a sudden, and it's very strange that's happening and counterproductive unless you're trying to just grow podcasts and stuff, which I respect. It's a business, whatever, but it's not essential. What is essential is that if Donald Trump had not won, what we'd be going through right now, the law of fear of superstructure will have vanquished our biggest chance to save America. And instead, we'd be looking at more inflationary policies, a bunch of more deficit spending instead of seeing inflation going down. We'd have a border that's open instead of no new crossings. We would have no most favored nation policy with drug companies, a big farmer would continue to run over us that we're seeing. We would have no bombing of drug boats. We would have the media still with credibility, which has been totally vanquished. Donald Trump has accomplished so much, but just thinking about the border, Laura, you and I were on the front lines 10 years ago. We've seen the most progress in the last year, as we've seen in the history of this country on that issue. How about tariffs? They told us it was all going to be inflationary. Inflation is coming down. We've got tens of billions of revenue coming in. This is all thanks to Donald Trump resetting America in this regard. It's historic and it's only going to get better. Jason, at the same time, you can sense that there is a lot of pressure being put on the White House to moderate, to bend on core issues that he won on in 2016 and he won on again in 2020. On the issue of immigration especially, how important is it for them to go full steam ahead on the way they've done this and if anything, pick up the pace? Well, it's extremely important because that was such a key central issue of the President's campaign in 2024. When you look at 2025, they really could sum it up in four words, promises made, promises kept. That's what's driving the Democrats so crazy right now. It's what's causing them to cry in their gluten-free egg nogger, deliriously make non-binary snow angels out in the front yard, is President Trump has delivered for all Americans, whether they voted for him or not. You take a look at the receipts that you and Alex pointed out, the border is secure, pride in America is back and we went from an economic doom under Joe Biden to an economic boom with President Trump. You look at that middle class tax cut bill, it's going to put about an extra $13,000 in the pockets of every family. We see inflation, which they told us was permanent, being brought down to record lows and I think what we're going to see in Q1 and Q2 of next year is going to really take off like a rocket ship and help all Americans. Alex, I think about recent years, I mean, no one gets everything they want. I mean, politics is the art of the deal. I mean, the art of the day, you have to, you have to compromise on some things, but on core beliefs, Trump has been, you know, I don't, I can't think of a president who's been better on the core issues that matter to this country than he has. Is it everything I want? Absolutely not. But guess what? I didn't win the presidency. Two times. I didn't come back from an attempted assassination, people trying to put him in jail. And the story of this year, just the fact that he's there and fighting every day. People have got to like, this is, these are kind of the good times right now. And if people don't think these are the good times, wait to wait to if the Democrats win in twenty, twenty six. I love the fighting. I love how he trolls people. He always baits people with these ninety seven three and these eighty twenty issues like bombing drug boats and he's got the left and the media in knots as always and that's such a delight to watch. We really do need to enjoy it. But just think about how hard it was that first term when the Republican establishment co-opted some of the administration and think about what we'd be looking at now. We'd be looking at tax hikes coming in next year instead of tax cuts. We'd be looking at for our crowd, for you, me and Jason, debanking, de-platforming, going to jail perhaps just for holding our political beliefs, all that stuff, transgender for everyone, all the things that the Democrats would be focused on right now. Instead, we've got this ascendant magga agenda. And look at what a mess they are with Tampon Timmy Walls and Gavin Newsom and his ridiculous hand gestures. I mean, they have nothing. They're completely behind the eight ball now. They have all these leftist radicals. Eric Swalwell, who's leading that party? If Trump bends any of his key views, they're just going to be doing the Snoopy dance, celebrating and be like, we got if we got him to bend on that, we have him over a barrel. That's why he's not going to do it. Jason, really quickly, they are doing specific things, too, that are really important, like the scam of the wind farms. Great news today that they're suspending that Vineyard Wind Project off of the Atlantic. That is a total outrage and a scam. I exposed it in a unique exclusive video over the summer. It's mostly foreign companies, foreign interests own these things, destroying our oceans, total national security problem. And guess what? They're saying, no, we're not doing this. I think it's brilliant. And it goes right to the heart of the green energy scam. Absolutely. And you look at the nine billion or so that Russ Vote, who runs OMB, was able to go through and surgically remove in certain places or, of course, the Doge effort that Elon Musk went in and helped President Trump cut out these massive chunks by stopping this reckless spending. That's one of the biggest things of why we've been able to get inflation under control and go and bring that down, because we're going right off a cliff with Joe Biden. But these cuts that we're able to make against these wasteful programs, this is transformed completely American business. Now businesses are talking about CapEx growth of some 15 percent this year, which means more investing back in the companies, more jobs, higher paying jobs, instead of going to these ridiculous things like wind farms and think of the poor whales, think of the poor birds. I think that should explain it right there. I think the best is definitely yet to come. But man, considering this thin majority and everything he has to deal with, this has been an unbelievable year. People should be in a really good mood. I think they're going to get in a better mood next year.

And it's gotten so bad with the roiling scandals going on in Minnesota that he has either turned a blind eye to, or for some reason has turned a blind eye to, that even some of his allies are saying that his political career is over for a Minnesota State Senator and political analyst in Minnesota. This is, who is this? Remember Rice Scott, June, saying he is clearly vulnerable and in my view is riskier than any Democratic candidate that might run. Anonymous longtime ally of Waltzes in Minnesota, a different person said it's clearly a real vulnerability. Even suburban dads would bring it up to me over the summer. Which is interesting because this news of this fraud has been circling around Minnesota for a while, but it's really broken open and we're seeing the scale of it. It's now the biggest fraud case in America. Over a billion dollars is probably more to come, more things to come out of this as well. Was it incompetence? Was there some skimming of money off the top? You know, and sort of putting a blind eye to it? We don't know. But the investigation is going to continue. The DOJ has promised to get to the bottom of this. And Griff, you know, everyone's trying to wash their hands of all of this. They're going to throw Tim. The Democrats in Minnesota are throwing Tim Walts under the bus and saying that's on him. We don't know how far this goes. Well, the question is whether or not Walts's administration was at best incompetent or at worst complicit in allowing this unprecedented fraud going on. Meanwhile, this triggered the Trump administration to go into Minnesota. To go after particularly Somali illegal aliens that are protected in the sanctuary state of Minnesota, the sanctuary city of Minneapolis here. Let me show you some of the criminals. The Somali illegal aliens have been rounded up just in the past week or so in Minnesota. And these are the people come with me that Governor Walts wants to defend praising the Somali citizens. Well, let's look at them. Mohammed Syed, convictions include domestic violence, trespassing, assault on a peace officer, damaging property in the list goes on. But there's a whole handful of them. You've got Sharif Abdi, a gang member. Convictions include fraud, vehicle theft, multiple probation violations. Osman Shidani, convicted of criminal sexual conduct with a minor aged 13 to 15. That's a child. Mohammed Ali, convictions include domestic assault, fraud, robbery and larceny. Finally, Mohammed Omar, charged with two counts of domestic violence. These are not the best of the best. They are, as the Trump administration says, the worst of the worst and yet Governor Tim Walts is defending them. Meanwhile, the deputy ICE director, Madison Sheehan, on this program yesterday says they're going to continue to go after these criminals. Watch. We have an operation going on in Minnesota right now to specifically go after the Somalis who have broken laws in this country, who have come to this country illegally and continue to wreak havoc on the American people. Our officers are out every day arresting gang members, murders and rapists, and truly the list goes on. And people like Governor Walts have let this guy run free in his state for years, and it's time that we put a stop to it. Democrats continue to choose to protect the people that are locked up in our facilities, people that have broken the laws by coming into this country and then perpetuated laws against the American people after that. Secretary Noem, President Trump, have taken the handcuffs off our officers so we can put them on the criminals, but we enforce the laws that are on the books. We do not pick winners and losers. And the Democrats continue to think that the real winners are inside the fences at our ICE facilities. And that's not true. It's the American people that have been victimized by alien crime for years. And you know, it's Democrats who insist that these government programs that are being defrauded in Minnesota right now, that this is the lifeblood. This is the answer to everybody's problems. And then they allow this to go on and you wind up with, you know, this is going to actually hurt, you know, genuinely hurt people who Democrats claim to care about. It's such a great point because the Democrat answer to any problem is just more money, right? So there was probably, you know, a lot of incompetence, but also it's sort of in line with their philosophy. We must be helping people. A billion dollars has been sent on them. Meanwhile, this money has been spent overseas and all kinds of, you know, schemes, buying real estate. It's gone into terrorist hands. And we had Jack Brewer on earlier, somebody who's from Minnesota knows it or played in Minnesota when he was in the NFL, spent a lot of time there, has family that lives in Minnesota. He's talked about the poverty rate of, you know, a lot of African-Americans who live in Minneapolis, poverty rate, the education, how bad it is. And all of this money getting wasted when it could have gone to really help people. And it's just, it's absolutely shameful. And we really need to talk about, and again, this is a hot button issue, assimilation. Are there certain immigrants that are more easily assimilated because their culture and their love of this country shines through? Are there others who just see this as, you know, a place to scam money and send it back to their home country? We have to have this conversation about assimilation and who actually wants to come to this country and make it better versus these guys that you had up on the board. If you're coming to the country to get welfare or to commit fraud, then you're not what we're looking for. You're here. We are the dumping place for bad people from other places. That's not the way it's supposed to work. If you want to come here because you love America and you want to contribute to America and contribute to the American dream, under our system, we believe that that helps everyone. That's what is so magical about the American people. And you can look no further than who they have chosen to represent them, somebody who is a very ungrateful refugee to our country, Elon Omar, probably the most ungrateful. You know, I mean, look, Governor Walz defending these violent criminal legal aliens from Somalia really leaves you scratching your head.

You know, ladies and gentlemen, this is my pocket copy of the U.S. Constitution and the Declaration of Independence. Now, in the last half century, I've probably read this a thousand times. I've looked around it, those who wrote it, the history at the time, what they meant, depending on which words, which phrase, which section, which clause we're dealing with. And I went back and I took a look earlier today, and I cannot find this phrase, birthright citizenship. I have looked everywhere. I've looked in the penumbras and emanations, and I can't find it. I've looked at the invisible ink. I can't find it. Birthright citizenship. And yet, last week, there was a big argument in front of the Supreme Court. And the justices, a couple of them were really wise, but most of them were like, kind of strange, getting into policy and politics and quirky examples and things of that sort. So I thought I'd bring us back down to earth and deal with this, because sometimes lawyers, particularly lawyers with black robes, who think they're really smart, they get carried away with themselves. Let's get back to brass tacks here. Let's get back to the facts. You ready? We have this Dred Scott decision in 1857. It was a diabolical decision. And it held in short that blacks, whether enslaved or free, were not US citizens. Now the court led by Chief Justice Roger Taney ruled that black people, descendants of imported slaves, were not included in the citizenship definition of the Constitution. And I quote, had no rights which the white man was bound to respect. Now that was a seven to two decision and the decision helped trigger the Civil War, our costliest war with over 700,000 casualties that almost destroyed the country. That war was fought for two reasons, to keep the union together and to eliminate slavery. So following the Civil War, after these horrendous battles and these horrendous casualties and so forth, certain formally Confederate states, they passed restrictive laws called Black Codes. Now what did these Black Codes do? They limited the freedoms of former slaves. Despite the Civil War, it was also a time when the Klan came into being founded by former Confederate generals and so forth. Well, Congress had already adopted the 13th Amendment in 1865, right at the end of the Civil War, that formally abolished slavery throughout the country. But they determined that the 13th Amendment alone was obviously not enough to guarantee freed slaves their civil liberties, including citizenship and equal rights and equal protection and due process. So Congress took action, after all it was controlled by the Republicans. So Congress in 1866 passed our first Civil Rights Act, the Civil Rights Act of 1866. Now that act formally declared that all persons born in the United States, anywhere in the United States except Indians, were citizens, granting them equal protection under federal law. Why not Indians or Native Americans? Because in many cases the tribes were considered their own nations, their own nations. You could be a citizen of two nations at the same time, especially within the Americas. So they passed that. Now what did it state in relevant part? The Civil Rights Act of 1866, which is crucially relevant to this discussion. "Be it enacted that all persons born in the United States and not subject to any foreign power." In other words, not a citizen of another country. "Excluding Indians not taxed are hereby declared to be citizens of the United States." This again was aimed at what? At the former slaves, their family, their children, their future children, and the black codes in these southern states that were preventing the implementation of equal rights and citizenship. "And such citizens of every race and color, without regard to any previous condition of slavery or involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime, whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall have the same right in every state and territory in the United States, to make and enforce contracts, to sue, to be parties, and give evidence, to inherit, to purchase, to sell, to hold, and convey real and personal property, and to the full and equal benefit of all laws and proceedings, for the security of every person and property, as is enjoyed by white citizens, and shall be subject to like punishment, pains, and penalties, and to none other any law, statute, ordinance, regulation, or custom to the contrary notwithstanding." A complete repudiation of the Dred Scott and a complete repudiation of the black codes. So this act was intended to reverse the Supreme Court's decision and eliminate these black codes. So they passed the Civil Rights Act of 1866 and the overwhelmingly Republican Congress. And what happens? Well, the bill goes to a Democrat by the name of Andrew Johnson, who'd been Vice President, but became President on the assassination of Abraham Lincoln. He was a Democrat from Tennessee. So President Johnson vetoed the Civil Rights Act of 1866. But there were enough Republicans in Congress to override his veto, so it remained the law. But the Republican Congress was concerned about the ease with which a law could be changed. It even eliminated down the road. They saw what Johnson tried to do. Thus was born the impetus for the 14th Amendment. Their purpose was to constitutionalize the Civil Rights Act of 1866. How do we know this? Because they told us this. John A. Bingham, B-I-N-G-H-A-M, these are great patriots. He was a House Republican from Ohio. In the House, he was the main drafter considered the Madison of the 14th Amendment of the language in Section 1 of the 14th Amendment, which includes the Citizenship Clause. He was a member of the Joint Committee on Reconstruction in the 39th Congress, which formulated the amendment to provide a constitutional basis for civil rights following the Civil War. That is the constitutionalization of the 1866 Civil Rights Act. Thaddeus Stevens of Pennsylvania, a well-known, famous, so-called radical Republican and Republican leader in the House, helped him draft the amendment and helped him usher it through the committee. On the other side of the Capitol, on the Senate, Senator Lyman Trumbull, a Republican of Illinois, notice they're all Republicans, he had drafted the 13th Amendment that had been passed in 1865, abolishing slavery formally, and was a contributor, if not the main writer, of the Civil Rights Act of 1866. He was a key figure also in drafting that process of drafting of the 14th Amendment to the Constitution. Trumbull. Then we have Senator Jacob Howard, a Republican of Michigan, who introduced the amendment in the Senate, declaring, among other things, it would extend the Bill of Rights to the states, every state. Now what exactly does Section 1 of the 14th Amendment say? The language that is being debated, that was heard in front of the Supreme Court, which they say gave birth to birthright citizenship. Well, we know it doesn't say that. What exactly does it say? Quote, right here, in my little pocket Constitution, "All persons born or naturalized in the United States, born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof." Remember, in the Civil Rights Act a few years earlier, which is intended to constitutionalize, it talked about having no allegiance to a foreign country or foreign nation. Here, they basically implement that by saying subject to the jurisdiction thereof, meaning subject to the United States and the jurisdiction of the United States. "Are citizens of the United States and the state wherein they reside?" Remember, they're doing this because of these black codes in these formerly Confederate states. "They're citizens of the United States and of the citizen wherein they reside. No state shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States, nor shall any state deprive any person of life, liberty, or property without due process of law or denied to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws." Boy, that doesn't sound like it has a lot to do with immigration, let alone illegal immigrants, let alone the children of illegal immigrants in the United States, because it didn't.
