Michael had a different kind of a voice, these are just unbelievable talents. But Michael is very special and one of the greatest roles in the history of Broadway. And it had just come out, I didn't know anything about it. But I got, I was in a movie theater, like we used to go to movie theaters a lot. And I said, this movie is phenomenal, what the heck? And that turned out to be a monster, Rocky is Rocky. I mean, the way that happened, Sly had no money, nothing. And he went around and everybody wants to do a boxing movie. It's the most, probably more than any other type of character, boxing. Boxing, always boxing, it's so great. And there's rarely been anything like this one. John Voight did a great one, as you know, champ, great. I think that was right there too. John Voight's a phenomenal person, phenomenal actor. But Sly came in and he had no money. He wrote a script along with thousands of other people writing scripts on a boxer. And for some reason, a studio picked up this and liked it. And Sly had, he's in an old car that he came in from Brooklyn or someplace in New York, but I think Brooklyn had barely made it to California. He was sleeping in the car, I mean, he had nothing. And he wanted control over who the actor was gonna be. Because he said he can't be successful if you're gonna pick a movie actor with a bad build, okay, a nice face but a bad body. And he said, I can't have these guys cuz he's a tough cookie and he knew exactly what it took. He knew what a boxer's body was. So they brought him one and I won't tell you who it was, but it was a big name. But the chest wasn't exactly what you need. One shot and your heart would pop out. That wasn't too good. Then he did another one, he was fat, sloppy, but had a good face. Then he did another one and another one and another one. And he turned it down, he wouldn't take $1 million, he wouldn't do it. And it turned out that when they saw him, they said, you know, you'd be actually pretty good for this role. And he had never done this before, anything like it. But think of it, he turned down a million dollars, he had nothing. He refused to let somebody else play, he didn't wanna play it. He wasn't originally, he did it as a writer. But he ended up playing it because he couldn't find anybody else that fit the role. And who knew what would have happened? He's become a legend of the silver screen, a true legend, and he's a great guy. He's a little bit tough, a little bit different, I will tell you. He's a little tough guy, but he's a phenomenal person with a phenomenal wife and family, incredible wife, incredible family. His films grossing more than 7.5 billion, which is either a record or very close to it. I can't imagine anybody doing more. If you add up Rambo and Rocky and these others, I can't imagine anybody doing much more. 7.5 billion worldwide over the course of six decades. And Sly is a pillar of the really American pop culture and a Hollywood superstar, like few others. And one of the biggest names on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. In fact, the only one that's a bigger name on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, they say is a guy named Donald Trump. I'm on the Hollywood Walk of Fame too, if you can believe that one. But he's amazing, he's really amazing, and he's actually a great actor. Fourth will be together celebrating one of the most revered singers of the American disco era, Gloria Gaynor. Best known for her chart-topping 1978 hit, I Will Survive, Gloria won the 1980 Grammy for best disco recording. And her song was inducted into the National Recording Registry in 2016. Four decades later, Gloria won a second Grammy in 2020 for her gospel album Testimony, which is incredible. Truly a historic achievement, not only in terms of the years that have gone by to be great that long, but to have the two top of anything in that span of time. And with that kind of period between is pretty amazing. But I will say that I Will Survive is an unbelievable song. I've heard it, you know, like everyone else here thousands of times. And it's one of those few that get better every time you hear it.

It has been nearly a decade since Barack Hussein Obama left office nearly 18 years since he was first elected as president. And yet Barack is still refusing to write off into the sunset with grace and something called dignity. Nope. Instead, he's now desperate for validation, but his most recent sit down with failed soon to be out of work, so-called comedian Stephen Colbert was an important reminder about the constant deception, gaslighting, pious lectures that divided a nation. Take a look. The White House shouldn't be able to direct the attorney general to go around prosecuting the president. Just technically, it's under the executive branch, but the norm is that it's independent. The idea is that the attorney general is the people's lawyer. It's not the president's consigliere. He can't overcome the politicization of the criminal justice system. The awesome power of the state. You can't have a situation in which whoever's in charge of the government starts using that to go after their political enemies or reward their friends. We will address that directly in a second, but remember, we're just a bunch of bitter, angry Americans that cling to our God, our guns, our Bibles, our religion. He of course was hanging out the church of G.D. America with Reverend Wright, palling around with admitted domestic terrorists, Bernadine Dorn, Bill Ayers. Obama wrote the book on weaponization and politicizing justice. Members Attorney General Eric Holder bragging about being Obama's wingman, and for years, with the help of his wingman, Obama routinely targeted his political enemies, journalists that ran negative stories. They were wiretapped, classified as traitors, business leaders with the wrong views. They were targeted. Some were even jailed. The GOP's rising star at the time, Virginia Governor Bob McDonald. Remember, he was utterly destroyed by Jack Smith over a series of cooked up convictions that were all unanimously overturned by the U.S. Supreme Court. And here's the big one. The 2016 Republican nominee for president, Donald J. Trump, and his campaign, his transition team and his presidency, remember they were spied on by Obama loyalists that were gaming the FISA court system? But it wasn't just the courts. Remember, it was Obama who weaponized nearly every powerful lever of government against political opponents. And of course, that includes the IRS. Remember that little scandal? The FBI, even the intel community. And for the record, remember how the Russia collusion hoax began? It began, according to a 2025 report from the director of national intelligence. We now know, quote, "New evidence uncovers Obama-directed creation of false intelligence reports used to launch years-long coup to undermine President Trump and the American people." Now, remember, Obama personally, they had an intelligence at I.C.A. report that career senior intel officials, no, Russia did not impact the 2016 election. Well, he didn't like that conclusion. So he had a meeting in December of 2016 in his Oval Office at the time. And guess what? They came up with a new one to fit his narrative to go after Donald Trump. Ultimately, this weaponization of government resulted in 88 cooked up felony charges against the Democrats' chief political rival and a famous mugshot seen around the world. But Obama is now deeply worried about Republicans because the GOP just doesn't act in good faith, doesn't care about the rule of law. Really? This is the same Barack Obama that set Trump up for a phony hoax. Take a look. I'm worried about the Republican Party, not just the Democratic Party. When I was president, people would ask me, "What change would you like to see in Washington?" I'd say, "I'd love a loyal opposition. I'd love a Republican Party that was conservative in some ways, that didn't agree with me on a whole bunch of stuff, but believed in rule of law and judicial independence and empirical evidence and science and wasn't constantly tapping into our worst impulses." Now, talk about worst impulses. You mean Obama, his party that opened the border, 12-plus unvetted illegal immigrants from over 200 countries, known terrorists, murderers, rapists, child molesters, other violent criminals, cartel members, gang members. They eliminated bail, reduced prison sentences from violent offenders. They blocked deportations for even rapists and murderers, wiretapped journalists, tried to throw an opposing presidential candidate in prison for the rest of his life on fake victimless crimes that no one can even recall without an extensive Google search. The guy that gave billions to Iran, what did Iran do with that money? Oh, that's right. They built out their nuclear program, their ballistic missile program. They fomented terror around the world. That's the party that cares about the rule of law. High from his ivory tower at one of his multimillion dollar estates across the country, Obama has not only lost touch with reality, but it appears the former president has lost the ability to even tell a decent lie. But the good news tonight, Obama is now forced to witness his entire legacy go completely down the drain, compliments of the man that he tried to destroy. That I.C.A. change, remember, career senior intelligence officials determined there was no Russian interference. Barack Obama had a meeting in his office, if I recall, in December of 2016, and he demanded they change that accurate assessment, correct? Oh, absolutely. This helps Trump. So we've got to change it. And so he had John Brennan at the CIA have the I.C.A. say the exact opposite. And people in the intelligence community warned Brennan, you can't do this. You're basing it on a bogus dossier that's already been disproven. Well, Brennan didn't care and he went ahead and did it anyway on the orders of Barack Obama. So, you know, it's it's comical for Obama to preach that an attorney general or CIA director is not the president's conciliary, since, you know, that's how he treated the people who worked for him. As you pointed out, you know, Holder was famously Obama's wingman. But the ex-president, you know, has always been sanctimonious, a hypocrite secretly engaging in worse behavior than that which he condemns. In the Colbert interview, he implies Trump is weaponizing the justice system against political opponents when, as you point out, Sean, in fact, that is precisely what Obama did to Trump in 2016, the Russia hoax, you know, and I really don't want to get lectured by a guy that sat 20 years in the pews of Reverend Wright the Sunday after 9/11 or 125 years ago, took to the pulpit and said, no, no, God bless America, G.D., America. It's in the Bible. The same Barack Obama we learned did have a picture with Louis Farrakhan, the same Barack Obama that was friends with Bill Ayers, Bernadine Dorn. Bill admitted of all days 9/11 or one in The New York Times, we wish we I wish we did more, Bill Ayers said, in terms of the activities that the weather underground was involved in. Really? I don't want to get lectured by that guy because that guy was the most radical guy to ever sit in the White House. And for him to pretend, Sean, that they were a scandal free administration. Look, I was in the room. I was part of the team that went after him on Fast and Furious, where they knowingly and willingly gave nearly a thousand weapons to the drug cartels and then tried to do some very nefarious things to law enforcement. And somebody actually ended up getting killed. I remember when Big Gazi happened and four of our Americans, including the ambassador, were killed and they tried to cover that up and snooker the American people and tell them that those things hadn't happened. I was the chairman of the oversight committee. I issued dozens of subpoenas, Mr. Rule of Law there, President Obama, guess what? You didn't fulfill any one of those duly issued subpoenas. You fought me every single time. You did everything you could to get around it. You never complied with that. And then you throw that thing to Stephen Colbert. I remember when you went after 300 of those good conservatives that were trying to just participate and you had the IRS target them and not allow them to participate. And then you had documents that were under subpoena that I issued. And then you destroyed those documents. I remember that Obama. I remember the Obama who went after the reporters and spied on them. That's the Barack Obama that I remember. Don't try to tell us that, "Oh, Donald Trump's the bad guy." Donald Trump is the most ethical down the line. I will play it straight. You just got to be able to prove your case person that I know. And I had that experience. I didn't start that way, but I can tell you, having watched two of them side by side, Donald Trump shoots straight. And Barack Obama just put that smiley, happy face on and lies through his teeth. And by the way, Greg, how ironic is it that if it were not for the immunity case of Donald J. Trump, I wonder if he could be looked into as part of the grand conspiracy investigation. Well, a lot of his actions are not in the course and scope of, you know, his duties as president of the United States. So arguably no immunity. For example, there are handwritten notes, Sean, that show that Obama was told how Hillary Clinton approved a plan to falsely smear her opponent as a Russian asset. Totally made up, of course, instead of telling the truth to the American people, what did Obama do? He concealed it and he allowed the FBI to use the lie as a pretext to pursue Trump and leak it to the media. And at the same time, there's solid evidence that Obama ordered the DOJ to drop its investigation of Hillary for influence peddling with Russia of all countries. So Obama flipped the script and he did so corruptly. Hillary walked while Trump was framed. So I'm not sure that immunity would cover all of his actions here. As you point out, he played such a key role in altering that important intelligence document that would have helped exonerate Trump. Instead it did the opposite. So, you know, all of this self-righteous virtue signaling by Obama is utterly phony. He pretends to be morally pious. He's not. It's a charade. By the way, Greg, thanks for the analysis. And Jason, you don't get enough credit. You, your committees at the time, you did your job. They were able to obfuscate what your committee had found. I'm not saying you have to define your role, but I'm thinking, what does it mean for two independents to join the Trump transition team? Well, I think it speaks to the bigger point about what President Trump is doing here. He is showing that this election is not about Democrats versus Republicans. It's about voters having the choice between a president and Donald Trump, who stands for freedom and peace and prosperity for all Americans, versus Kamala Harris, who is a person who will certainly bring about an increasingly tyrannical government, more war, and economic hardship, the same economic hardship we've seen over the last three and a half years. And it's not about taking my word for it or an opinion or a view. Both of these candidates, President Trump and Vice President Harris, have two very real records to compare and contrast, and boy, they couldn't be different. This is the choice before voters rise above partisanship. President Trump is showing that he can bring people together who may not agree on every issue, but who value what is most important, which is protecting and defending our fundamental rights and freedoms that are enshrined in the Constitution and making it possible to live in a truly peaceful and prosperous society. It's interesting when you talk about Kamala Harris's record, because there's word now that you could be helping the former president with debate preparations. Of course, it's very well established that you pretty efficiently took down Kamala Harris in 2019. Is that something that you relish the opportunity to be able to help in that aspect? Well, I want to be helpful in whatever way that I possibly can, and if I can be helpful to President Trump at all. In this area, it really is just to share the experience that I had and what I learned in sharing that stage with Kamala Harris back in 2019, and quite frankly, the kinds of tricks that she will play in order to deflect away from her record, which voters need to know about, and the mainstream media, the propaganda media is trying to cover up. She will rehearse some lines and deliver them very well. President Trump knows the issues, and he knows her record, and I look forward to seeing him challenge her and expose the truth about who Kamala Harris really is. I wanted to get your take on a couple of hot issues. Among this Mark Zuckerberg letter, where he comes out saying, listen, admitting that the Biden-Harris administration pressured them during COVID-19 to censor, and he used the word censor, COVID-19 content, said the laptop was not disinformation. What do you think of that admission? It's coming. Well, first of all, it is what many of us have known all along, and I'm glad he had the courage to come forward and speak the truth, especially right now. And this is really important, Trace, because you have Kamala Harris who's building her whole campaign around freedom. This is her new mantra that she's repeating. She repeated it in her debate, in her speech at the Democratic Convention, that she's going to be a president who champions freedom. But the fact is, as Mark Zuckerberg just exposed, it is Harris and Joe Biden who got him and Facebook to do their dirty work in censoring our right to free speech. Once again, her words do not match her actions. So we got to turn down the volume on whatever it is she's saying, and just look at her record, because that tells us the whole story about why we should not allow her in the White House as our president.
