“INSIDE THE BROKEN BORDER BILL”
Reading for pleasure expands your mind. Reading for work gets you a promotion. But Americans are pinched for time. Washington knows this, and every year Congress spits out legislation gazillions of pages long. Then manufactures a deadline to pass it, knowing Americans won't read it. The bill is too long and the legislation isn't written in plain English. It's written to be indecipherable to everyone except the lobbyists who write it. And the media, whose job it is to read it and report it, they don't even bother anymore. They spin whatever the Democrats claims in it and attack Republicans who vote against it. We've been hearing for weeks about how this bipartisan border bill is going to save America. How does the media know if they never saw the bill? Well, it was to condition you, whet the appetite for passage, and set up Republicans as fall guys if it fails. Well, the bill finally came out last night. Primetime read the whole 370 pages, and it doesn't stop a single migrant from breaking into the country. That's not me saying it. The Democrat senator who wrote the bill, Chris Murphy, declares, "The border never closes." So if the border never closes, what's the 20 billion for? Processing illegals, handouts, and loopholes. The Border Patrol would start working on an honor system. This is Washington's idea of thorough vetting. Are you ready? Agents will now start asking border crossers tough questions before letting them in. Question one. Are you a criminal? No. Second question. You say you're fleeing Honduras. Is there another part of Honduras that's safer? No, I'm scared. Third question. You pass through Mexico to get here. Why can't you stay in Mexico? I can't. I'm scared. Welcome to America. If you pass that test, you're in. You have asylum. Who gives that test? Well, Biden's hiring thousands of asylum officers to ask migrants the three questions. This is a government jobs program that lets in more migrants. And if the migrants answer the three questions correctly, Biden hands them a work permit so companies can hire them instead of Americans because they're cheaper. And the Adler can get all the crops picks he wants. Are we going to detain any migrants at the border so we can deport the ones who are too stupid to say I'm scared three times? Well, this border bill buys just 15,000 new beds to detain migrants. That's about two days worth of illegals we're going to detain. And once the beds fill up in two days, they're gonna let them go because you can't deport if you can't detain. Biden's border bill claims anyone they can't detain, which is pretty much everyone, they're gonna strap ankle monitors to them. We're going to strap millions of ankle monitors to migrant legs every year. What did Paul Pelosi buy stock in the ankle monitor company yet? And how are two million migrants whizzing through airport security with ankle monitors? Well, you just missed your flight because a village from Guatemala held up the line. Biden's also handing out a quarter million new family reunification visas. That means if you broke into this country and you miss your aunt, uncle, wife or cousin, it can come into their codifying chain migration. And remember all those Afghan refugees that Biden flew here after the Taliban took over the ones heavily vetted at the violent airport. This bill fast tracks their amnesty. That's 80,000 Afghans ready to vote in a few years. And if you're Haitian, Cuban, Venezuelan or Nicaraguan, you can cut to the front of the line. Biden just paroles you straight into the country. These new neighbors are great for Democrats. Even though illegals can't vote yet, the census counts them for redistricting. That means states with higher head counts, illegal or not, get more house seats and more electoral votes. In 2020, California, New York, New Jersey, Illinois and Massachusetts all gained seats. 24 seats that were lost all came from states that voted for Trump in 2016. Now it gets better under this bill. Every migrant gets a lawyer. $400 million go to lawyers for illegals. Lawyers just happened to be the Democrat Party's biggest donor class. Leave it to lawyers to write a pay raise into a border bill. Gotta hand it to him. Now, surely the bipartisan border bill defunds the nonprofits who've been financing the caravans. Wrong. A billion and a half dollars go to the nonprofits so they can keep buying the migrants tense food and maps. There's also a quarter billion dollars in migrant reparations. What are migrant reparations? Biden's gonna take our tax dollars and pay the countries that the migrants claim they're too scared to live in. So if Biden decides to deport a migrant, which he won't and which he hasn't ever, he's setting aside money to reintegrate the migrants back into their home countries. How does Ecuador go about reintegrating a man born and raised in Ecuador? They don't. They just steal our money and claim the reintegration is going muy bueno and keep sending more migrants to keep the migrant reparations flowing. I asked the prime time producers, is there anything in this border security bill that dismantles the cartels? There's only 25 million dollars. Democrats are giving the DEA just 25 million bucks to fight the cartels. Lawyers are getting 400 million. Tackling the cartels, 25 million. This is how you know they aren't serious. So we keep hearing about this 5,000 migrants a day and the border automatically closes. Not true. If the border patrol averages 5,000 migrant encounters for a week straight, we're not talking about the Godaways, they'll say they'll close the border for a little while but they don't want you to know about the loopholes. They actually never closed the border. Migrants will still be processed into the country at ports of entry, meaning the cartels just funnel them to the ports of entry. What about the rest of the border? That's shut down, right? No. Migrants can still show up anywhere along the border and as long as they claim it's an emergency, they have to be let in. So even when the border is shut down, migrants can still come in. This means a shut down border lets in at least two million illegals a year. That's more illegals a year than Bush, Obama and Trump ever averaged. It's like twice as much. Biden's just locking in record numbers. Oh and if this does get passed, there's a grace period. Three months until any of these tough border policies kick in. Obviously the minute it kicks in someone's gonna sue the administration to stop it and the people who wrote this bill actually wrote what court will hear the motion. It's the most liberal court in the country. The DC District Court will hear all challenges to the border bill. The ACLU files a motion, the DC District Court agrees, slaps an injunction on it and we get the status quo. They wrote the status quo into the bill and the border bill is only 20 billion out of the 120 billion dollar package. 100 billion dollars is for defending everyone else's borders, Israel, Taiwan and Ukraine and Schumer says if you don't bite, Biden's shipping your sons to war. We're the turning point in America. This bill is crucial and history will look back on it and say did America fail itself? Why is it crucial? Well if we don't aid Ukraine, Putin will be walk all over Ukraine. We will lose the war and we could be fighting in Eastern Europe in a NATO ally in a few years. Americans won't like that. No Americans don't want to go to war but we won't be blackmailed. There's no way this bill is gonna pass but that's not the point. This is Washington's way of giving itself credit for not solving a problem it created. If you fall for this you're part of the problem and when the bill blows up nothing changes except the media can say MAGA Republicans murdered border security. Even 60 Minutes is in on it. After ignoring the border for three years CBS wants to scare and shame Senate Republicans into voting for a fake fix. Watch. So what's the fastest growing group among them? Chinese migrants. Yes you heard that right Chinese. We saw large groups including many from the middle class come through a four-foot gap at the end of a border fence 60 miles east of San Diego. The illegal entryway is a new route for those hoping to live in America. This border bill doesn't stop a single Chinese national from rolling their carry-ons into the country. They just answer I'm scared three times or claim it's an emergency they're in and when your biggest enemy sends brigades of people across your border what do you call that? It makes sense that they're taking people out and sending them up and caravans to the United States and it's not just South America it's from Africa from Asia from all over the world yeah I mean from all over the world from China there are 28,000 people in the last few months 28,000 that's what's he doing building an army and there were mostly men almost all men from the age of 18 to 25 so what's that all about? I mean it's almost like China has something on Biden. He could shut down the border tomorrow he doesn't need Congress to give him additional power. All presidents have had the power since 1952. Title 8 section 12 of the US code hate to read it but I will whenever the president finds that the entry of any aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States he may by proclamation and for such periods as he shall deem necessary suspend the entry of all aliens or any restrictions he may deem to be appropriate. So the president who has the power to close the border says he needs a hundred and twenty billion so we can close the border but the architect of the bill says the border never closes? Do you get it now? Do you really think Biden is gonna be rounding up migrants in Chicago into ice buses during the Democrat National Convention this summer? If you believe that then you fell for it.

We completely agree with the president that crime in the District of Columbia is out of control and something needs to be done with it. We have to go back to how we got here, though. In 2020, the D.C. City Council passed an enormous amount of legislation that handcuffed police officers exposes them to administrative, civil, and even criminal liability, even when they do their jobs properly. And now, five years later, our authorized sworn strength is 4,000 sworn police officers. We currently have 3,180. So we have more than 800 vacancies for the position of police officer. And the way the department makes up for that gap is through 2 million hours of mandatory overtime every year. So the fact that we need help from federal law enforcement and maybe even the National Guard, it shouldn't come as a surprise, and we agree with that. I think one of the issues here, though, is that we all know that's going to be temporary. So in order to fix this problem and make sure that it doesn't ebb and flow and that the feds come in and we lower crime and then they leave and we're left holding the bag, it's very important that people know that there is underlying legislation that needs to be corrected. So that we can actually properly staff this police department in order to properly police the city.

I'm Stack columnist Michael Schellenberger joins us now. So we've seen this, we've seen it for years. The media is complicit. Ken Delanian or whatever his name is, the biggest spook on MSNBC, said that this has got the hallmarks of another Russia propaganda election interference plot. Are they really that ignorant that they think this is gonna work? - That's a great question. I mean, you know, you look at the, if you actually believe everything in the indictment, and I read every word of it just now, this is really small ball stuff. There's no evidence that any Russian money changed anybody's opinion. They say in the indictment that two of the influencers that were targeted did not know that it was Russian money. There's no evidence that like really, there was any serious amount of media coverage to influence anything measurable in terms of opinion. You know, all that being said, I mean, the main issue here is that we have this continued, we have this record of the Department of Justice running Russian disinformation hoaxes twice, not once. The first time claiming that the Russians favored Trump when we now know that they favored Clinton. And then the second time, the Hunter Biden laptop, where we now know that the FBI ran a disinformation effort to make people think that it was about the Russians. So there's, I mean, nobody should trust blindly the Department of Justice when it says anything about Russia. - So now we have the United States government interfering in three elections in a row, 16, 20, and 24, on behalf of Democrat candidates, weak Democrat candidates, Hillary, Biden, and Harris. What does it say about the Harris campaign that they need to do this right now? - Yeah, I mean, look, I think it's, this is the best they've got. And I think that says something, that they're having to do this. And like you said, it's like, it's all of the discredited characters with all of the discredited messages from the past. So it's not gonna, I mean, it's clearly not gonna have much impact at all. It's, you know, I think there is some reason for concern, which is it does feel like it's another effort to program people, if we're gonna be, use the crude word, brainwash people, and get them to stop thinking about these issues. And so we should always be concerned when we see situations where there may be the weaponization of the government going on in order to, in this case, because it's always projection, influence the elections. I mean, the timing alone is curious. - You can't have the FBI, and this is probably CIA laundered, and the Department of Justice spilling this out through press conferences and through leaks to mainstream media reporters on the even of election. And then you're gonna have a 24 hour, maybe 48 hour news cycle on CNN, on MSNBC, and it's just gonna wash over the people, even the casual viewers that are just clicking around. That does have an impact. That's more election skullduggery than what the Russians are doing. - Yeah, and I would say too, I think it's important for people to understand why they keep focusing on Russia. It's clearly an effort to undermine the nationalist and populist appeal of Trump, and the MAGA Republicans. They're trying to say that they're not authentically supported in the United States. They're not about America first. They're secretly, secretly, I mean, it's a conspiracy theory, Jesse. The idea that Trump and MAGA Republicans are controlled by Russia is the craziest conspiracy theory of them all, but apparently it works with some people, or it's the best they got. - And you have Harris's number two, literally under investigation for his ties to China. - And the Biden family also under investigation for all the money that poured in from China. Here with more former House Speaker Fox News contributor, Newt Gingrich. It really is remarkable and will be in Alaska this week. And when you couple that with 15 trillion in committed investments and the largest tax cut in history and energy dominance policies that I think make economic growth incalculable, if peace and prosperity drive elections, he's looking pretty good early on for 26 in my view. Look, I think he has a great chance. I happened to get a call Sunday night from Cambodian leaders who are nominating President Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize, and they are ecstatic at the role he played in stopping a potential war between Thailand and Cambodia. And every time you turn around, he's doing something which is entirely amazing. So I think the stage is being set in 2026 between a very successful, hardworking American president who represents American values, focuses on American interests, and a Democratic party dominated by big government socialism with radical values. And that's a choice, I think, between a Trump boom and Democratic gloom. And my guess is this will be the biggest off-year election since Franklin Roosevelt in 1934. You know, many other politicians, and you tell me if I'm wrong, you're the historian, they will wring their hands, they'll talk to their advisers, they'll vacillate back and forth. You know, how much political capital will I have to expend to get involved in this issue? There's no such calculation as, like, problem, let me fix it. Let me see if I can fix it. Let me give my best shot at fixing it. Dive in, don't jump in. Very different than most politicians. Well, but I think, Sean, you use the key word. Donald Trump is not a politician. Donald Trump is a citizen businessman who left a remarkable career, took an amazing beating, survived a most unbelievable series of circumstances. And walks in every morning believing that God saved him for the purpose of creating a golden age for America. And he does it as a citizen. I don't think there's a politician bone in his body. I think he gets up every day as a citizen and says, what can I do to give my children, my grandchildren, and the American people a better future? And then he doesn't. And I don't think he thinks about second and third order effects. I think he just does what he thinks is right. Okay. So as we watch Donald Trump, what do you expect Friday? I don't know yet. I mean, having watched him on occasion, for example, I can't jump in. He says he'll know in two minutes. Just get up. I think you will. He says he'll know in two minutes. Look, I tweeted today, it was a very bad sign that the Russians launched a big offensive yesterday on the eve of this thing. I think that Putin is probably going to walk in there totally misunderstanding Trump, trying to run a bluff. And my guess is if that was what happens, he's going to get up and walk out. He's just going to say, this is all baloney. You're a liar and I can't trust you and I'm not going to work with you. I think what Putin believes, which is a total misreading of President Trump, is that somehow Trump can be talked into a fantasy. I don't think that's going to happen. But again, I'm an optimist. I'm a big believer in Donald Trump. And I think he's going to walk in there. He's going to look him in the eye and he's going to say, if you continue this, you will be crushed. Now, do you want to continue or should we talk? And if Putin says something baloney, he's going to go up and say, well, I remember President Trump said to me one day in negotiating with the Japanese, they walked out four times and he sat there calmly and they kept coming back. And I have a hunch that's the way he's going to approach Alaska. If Vladimir Putin actually, if he doesn't believe Donald Trump will get up and walk out and tell him to go jump in a lake, then he knows nothing. His intelligence is useless because I can tell him right now with 100 percent certainty, Donald Trump is not going to take any of your crap. That's my advice to Putin going into Friday. We'll see what happens. That's exactly right. All right. I want to watch you in Alaska.
