It's Board of Zura. Tom Homan joins us now with more. Tom, I mean, just look at the list. Rape in the first, forcible compulsion, convicted rapist, interpool, and Germany had this guy out there, sexual contact against a child, and y'all were able to do this quietly. - Well, look, it was a really very well planned strategic operation, right? Very targeted operation. So the way we did it, moving in and out every two days, going to different parts of the state, we didn't get the open border advocates time to gather up and interfere and spit on officers and get their YouTube moments today, send out in the media and misidentify an ICE officer and what they're doing. So it was a good operation. And like I said, well-targeted operation, it's actually closer to 2,200 aliens arrested in 30 days. So for those who say targeted enforcement operation don't work, this is an example of what does, 'cause in June of this year, ICE made a broken historic record and they arrested more illegal aliens in the month of June than any time in the history of the agency. July, they broke June's number. And yesterday I saw the numbers, August, a brand new historic number of number of aliens ICE is arresting. They're breaking records every month. - So for all the people that are saying that ICE is not moving, doing deportations, that's just not true based on the numbers, huh? - Record number of arrests, historic record numbers arrest, historic number of deportations. ICE is sitting on all cylinders and they're doing what the president promised American people, promises made, promises kept, most secure border in the history of the nation and record number of his immigration arrests and deportations. - So Tom, not everyone is happy about this. You got Hochul, the governor, and Mandami saying this. - We notify ICE that these individuals are about to be released and they should be deported. That's always been our policy for decades. You know what? Sometimes they don't even show up. ICE doesn't even do their job, they don't care. So I'm not buying what they're selling here. - What we are seeing, however, from ICE is an attempt to criminalize the very fact of being an immigrant. And we are seeing a terrorizing of immigrants across our city and frankly, across our nation. - First take on what Hochul said that ICE isn't showing up to pick up the criminals. And then Mandami says that you guys are just targeting foreigners in this kind of terrorizing them. - Look, you know, but first of all, Hochul's lying, Stone Cold lie, this past year, over 13,000 detainers weren't honored. So she says she cares about working with ICE on criminal alien public safety threats, 13,000 detainers that weren't honored. And also, she just signed legislation that says local law enforcement can't work with us. She ended a 287(g) programs and she no longer lets us, allows us to rent beds from local sheriffs. So these, you know, the 2,200 aliens we arrested, many of them we moved out of state. Immediately, we don't have a bed here in the state. And finally, I'll tell her this, listen to your own sheriffs. You got 15 sheriffs in the state suing you over this legislation that you just signed. These are career law enforcement officers that know their community better than she does. And she says, this is about local law enforcement doing, you know, keeping their neighborhood safe. 15 of her own sheriffs are suing her 'cause they're saying this makes communities less safe. As far as Mandami, look, I'm an equal opportunity deporter. I don't care where you're from. I don't care, you know, I don't care what country you're from. If you got an order of removal issued by an immigration judge, you're gonna go home. - Tom, you've sat with families that were victims of sanctuary city policies. There was a hearing yesterday about this very thing. And this is how one of the Democrats on that committee responded. Let's play it. - Ms. Fox, Mr. Coleman, I am just deeply, deeply sorry about what happened to your children. It is unimaginable. And I thank you for being brave enough to come here and testify today. I wanna just say, as Mr. Raskin pointed out, that we're here again talking about sanctuary cities. And we do have a bill that passed out of this committee and hasn't been brought to the floor. And so I am confused about that, why we're having another hearing on something where we have active legislation. - Why are we having another hearing on this? Can you believe that? We got dead Americans, victims, people that are paralyzed as a result of illegal aliens not being able to drive. - I've talked to hundreds, literally hundreds of angel moms and dads who buried their children because their children were killed by illegal aliens. Congress needs to do something. I mean, sanctuary cities are sanctuaries for criminals. I think most American people support what ICE is doing. If you're in the country legally, which is a crime, you're in the country and you commit offense against your citizen, they should be on the table for all law enforcement. Sanctuary cities are sanctuaries for criminals. And in all, if you let ICE agents into the safety and security of the jail, like this New York operation, we got quite a few collaterals. Why is that? 'Cause I told Governor Hochul, if you lock us out of the jails, now we gotta go to the streets and find the bad guy, and when we find the bad guy, or we're in process of finding the bad guy, we won't find others. Others, they may not be a public safety threat put in their country illegally. Sanctuary cities make communities less safe. They make our officers' jobs more dangerous. And it's also more dangerous for the illegal aliens 'cause anything can happen on street arrests. So Congress needs to finally do something about sanctuary cities. It's unlawful, DOJ suing. President Trump's taking on sanctuary cities. Look, again, President Trump gave the American people what he promised he'd give 'em. We have the most secure border in Lawrence. You've been on it many times. It has never been this secure. - It hasn't been that secure. And when the President sent you to Minneapolis to take control of this operation, the entire trajectory changed. And that's credit to the President and credit to your experience as well, Tom.
