**Trump shares a screenshot calling his own appointee, Justice Amy Coney Barrett, "clearly terrified of the left"**

Trump's posts ran from one evening into the next, with a long break overnight. The first evening opened with him mocking Anthony Fauci's ceremonial first pitch, followed by short, staff-style notes on meetings with Zelenskyy and Netanyahu, a House endorsement and a Senate budget push. The next morning he went back to Fauci, taking credit for the Covid vaccine program and saying he had overruled Fauci's "CRAZY" ideas. By afternoon he had moved on to the Supreme Court: he shared a screenshot calling Justice Amy Coney Barrett, whom he appointed, "clearly terrified of the left," and that evening wrote that the Court's rulings on tariffs and birthright citizenship had cost the country "TRILLIONS AND TRILLIONS OF DOLLARS." The Barrett post was the day's sharpest: it singled out a sitting Justice while his own requests are before the Court, though nothing he wrote urged anyone to act.

## Tuesday evening to Wednesday evening, on Eastern time

Trump was most likely in Washington. He spoke at the National Cathedral service for Lindsey Graham on July 28 and posted about meetings with Zelenskyy and Netanyahu that night. The South Carolina funeral on July 29 is in the same time zone, so the conversion to EDT (UTC−4) holds wherever he spent Wednesday. On that clock the UTC date runs from 8:35 PM Tuesday (ts_117000461200836192) to 6:13 PM Wednesday (ts_117005562901056692).

The long gap runs from 9:09 PM (ts_117000591530452774) to 7:46 AM (ts_117003098657536803), about ten and a half hours, and nothing was posted between midnight and 7 AM local. The only cluster, five posts in 34 minutes on Tuesday evening, is mostly formatted statements put out after a day of meetings. Nothing in the timeline points to lost sleep or hypomanic pacing, and eight posts is a light day by his second-term standard.

## Eight posts, four pairs

The day falls into four two-post threads. Two are in his own voice, and a gap splits each of them: Fauci (ts_117000461200836192, ts_117003098657536803) on either side of the night, and the Supreme Court (ts_117004345604552506, ts_117005562901056692) five hours apart. The other two are official business posted back to back: the leader meetings (ts_117000535893705645, ts_117000544407681188) and congressional items (ts_117000553480023765, ts_117000591530452774). In both grievance threads the second post reaches wider than the first. He came back once to each of two targets, which is short of fixation on either.

## Fauci on both sides of the night

The Tuesday post calls Fauci's ceremonial first pitch "by far, the worst throw," puts "athlete" in scare quotes, and turns a bad throw into a verdict on the man: "a phony on that, just like he was on everything else (See below!)." Its analysis reads the tone as cold contempt, pleasure in the humiliation with little heat behind it. No event in the database accounts for the clip coming up that night.

His first post Wednesday morning takes Fauci up again, this time on policy. It opens with a raw death-count comparison, "Many more people died of Covid under the Biden Administration than under the Trump Administration," which sets administrations of different lengths and pandemic phases side by side. It claims Operation Warp Speed as "a SPECTACULAR SUCCESS, in fact, many say, one of the most successful things ever done by an American President," and puts him above the scientist: "I overrode Fauci on this. His ideas were CRAZY!" From there it drifts into vendetta, coins "Dumocrats," and signs off "President DJT," unlike the formatted posts of the night before. The sentences hold together and the argument keeps its order. That marks the distortion as motivated revisionism, with no sign of confabulation.

## Four posts in the house voice

Between 8:54 and 9:09 PM came the meeting notes and the legislative items. The meeting posts disclose almost nothing: "Many things were discussed. The meeting went very well!" for Zelenskyy, and "Obviously, many important subjects were discussed" for Netanyahu. The Netanyahu post opens with "Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu of Israel, along with myself and Representatives.", a line that has no verb and reads like a caption. The Amir Hassan endorsement for Michigan's 8th District ("served our Nation with distinction") reads as campaign copy. The Ron Johnson post presses for a budget resolution "before the August recess" to carry "as much of THE SAVE AMERICA ACT as possible." Four of the day's seven grandiose ratings come from these posts, and those ratings rest on formula like "Great Honor" and "went very well!" The meetings fall on the night of Graham's memorial. Graham spent decades backing both Kyiv and Israel, which would explain both leaders being in Washington, though the posts don't say so.

## From one Justice to the whole Court

The 1:03 PM post contains no words of his own. It is a screenshot of Tim Pool's X post, "Amy Coney Barrett is clearly terrified of the left," above a chart of her conservative vote share falling from 81% before Dobbs to 59% after. The chart's fine print concedes she "remains aligned more with conservatives than liberals overall," so the image he shared contradicts its own caption. The historian logged the post as a news event. It came two days after his administration asked the Court to let his mail-in voting order take effect, and after his petition over the E. Jean Carroll verdict. Doubting a swing Justice's nerve while those requests are pending works as pressure. It also puts an explanation for a loss on record before any ruling: if she goes against him, the stated reason is already fear. The elevated danger rating rests on the naming: one Justice, already harassed by parts of the right, put in front of a mass audience by the president who appointed her. The post adds no call to act, and nothing later in the day returns to Barrett by name, so one naming does not make a stochastic pattern.

At 6:13 PM he wrote the broader version himself: "Does anybody have any idea how much Money and Prestige the United States Supreme Court has cost our Nation with their negative Rulings on Birthright Citizenship and TARIFFS? The answer, TRILLIONS AND TRILLIONS OF DOLLARS!" The event database holds no new ruling for that day, so the post reads as a return to losses he had already taken. Two defeats on his own agenda become a national bill ("cost our Nation"), priced with a figure that has no source and cannot be checked. This post reads as mixed, while the rest of the day reads as grandiose, because it lays big numbers over "negative Rulings": the scale is his usual register, but what it measures is a loss. The target is a Court whose conservative majority he helped build.

Over the afternoon the thread moved from a borrowed voice to his own, and from one named Justice to the whole institution. The anger rose while the exposure of any single person fell. That is two posts, and the capitals-heavy morning Covid post ran hotter than either, so this is one grievance getting sharper, short of a spiral.

## What the eight posts leave out

The historian's list for the period includes US strikes on Iran after intercepted missile attacks, a CNN poll with 70% disapproving of his handling of the economy, Jamie Raskin's investigation of the $100,000-a-month Truth API, and the Senate Judiciary delay of Todd Blanche's attorney-general vote over the IRS audit settlement. Not every item is pinned to this date, and none of them appears in the posts. The day's only foreign-policy content is two meetings that "went very well." His own writing went to a first-pitch clip, the pandemic record, and the Court.

## Credit in the morning, a bill by evening

The official posts are honors and meetings, and the morning post claims a "SPECTACULAR SUCCESS"; the last post tallies what the Court cost. The grievance was there from the start, since the Fauci mockery went out before any of the honors, but the day closes on a loss he frames as the nation's. Syntax and sequencing hold in all three posts written in his own voice. The verbless Netanyahu line is the day's only irregular sentence, and it sits in a post whose authorship is uncertain.

### Narrative

An old fight and a live one framed the day. Fauci, a feud from the pandemic years, got mocked at night and blamed again in the morning, with Trump casting himself as the one who got the vaccine done. The afternoon brought the live fight: first a borrowed jab at Justice Barrett, then his own claim that the Supreme Court's rulings had cost the country trillions. The meeting notes and legislative posts in between read like staff work. A day that included honors, summit meetings and a boast of "SPECTACULAR SUCCESS" ended on a complaint about what the Court had taken from him.

### Dominant themes

- Fauci and the Covid record (1 post)
- Supreme Court grievance (Barrett, birthright citizenship, tariffs) (1 post)
- Foreign-leader meetings (Zelenskyy, Netanyahu) (1 post)
- Congressional business (Hassan endorsement, budget resolution, SAVE America Act) (1 post)

The pre-Dobbs bars (OT 2020, OT 2021) are labeled dark blue under a box reading "PRE-DOBBS Higher Conservatism," and the post-Dobbs bars (OT 2022–2024) are orange under a box reading "POST-DOBBS Moderation & Pragmatism." A dotted horizontal line marks the "50% threshold." At the bottom, partially obscured text reads a "Key Insight" box: "Barrett voted conservatively in a strong majority of cases both before and after Dobbs. Pre-Dobbs average ~73%; Post-Dobbs ~55%. I overrode Fauci on this. His ideas were CRAZY! Also, I said from the beginning that the Virus came from the Wuhan Laboratory in China. Fauci strongly disagreed, always trying to protect China. I Inherited Fauci, who was there since the 1980’s, but with each passing day, relied less and less on him. He made too many bad calls, like on MASKS. Remember at the beginning he was an anti-masker. He then switched to a super-masker. In any event I didn’t let him shut the Country down, although he wanted to. I went the Federalist way, and let the governors decide. The Republican governors did a much better job than the Dumocrats. Fauci was largely taken out of play, and then along came Sleepy Joe Biden, who made Fauci a “King!” I called Biden to tell him Fauci was no good, either didn’t have a clue, or was dishonest. The call was well received, but sadly,
> not acted on. Biden went on to give Fauci vast destructive power. The rest is history! President DJT

> Senator Ron Johnson is working hard with Senate Republican Leadership to adopt a Budget Resolution before the August recess. This is the first step towards getting as much of THE SAVE AMERICA ACT as possible in a Budget Bill, funding our Troops, and helping our Farmers. I am calling on the Senate to get this critical first step done before the August recess. This Resolution can be adopted at a simple Majority threshold. GET IT DONE! Thank you for your attention to this matter. President DONALD J. TRUMP

> It is my Great Honor to endorse Amir Hassan, who is running to represent the fantastic people of Michigan’s 8th Congressional District!
>
> From bravely fighting for our incredible U.S. Navy, to protecting his Community as a Federal Law Enforcement Officer, Amir has served our Nation with distinction, and will bring that same Fighting Spirit to the U.S. Congress. His opponent, Kristen McDonald Rivet, voted against NO TAX ON TIPS, NO TAX ON OVERTIME, and NO TAX ON SOCIAL SECURITY and, if she and the Dumocrats ever got in, all of these things would be terminated. She wants massive Tax Increases, Open Borders, Men playing in Women’s Sports, and Transgender for Everybody. On the other hand, Amir will work hard to Grow the Economy, Cut Taxes and Regulations, Promote MADE IN THE U.S.A., Champion American Energy DOMINANCE, Keep our Border SECURE, Stop Migrant Crime, Strengthen our Great Military/Veterans, and Defend our always under siege Second Amendment.
>
> Amir Hassan has my Complete and Total Endorsement to be the next Representative from Michigan’s 8th Congressional District — HE WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN!
