Well, I'm thrilled to be back in this incredible state with so many proud, hard-working American patriots, which is what you are. Let me begin by wishing each and every one of you a very Merry Christmas. We're here tonight to celebrate 11 incredible months. It's been the most successful first year of any president in the history of our country. Since my inauguration, we've created more than 53,000 North Carolina jobs, including 8,000 North Carolina constructive jobs. More than 150,000 North Carolina residents have been lifted off of food stamps. We had men playing in women's sports, transgender for everybody, crime at record levels, the worst trade deals ever made, and a country was laughed at from all over the world, but they're not laughing anymore. One year ago, our country was dead. Now we are the hottest country anywhere in the world because we finally have a president who puts America first.
