Trump has done it again. Have you seen the latest videos of DC? The sidewalks are spotless, no trash on the streets, no crowds of people stumbling around. It is peaceful, clean, and honestly, it is refreshing. The locals seem happy. So far, I haven't seen a single video of a resident complaining. The only ones upset are people who don't even live there and just hate Trump. At the end of the day, everyone deserves to feel safe in their own community.

It's incredible how the Fake News violently distorts the TRUTH when it comes to me. There is NOTHING I can say or do that would lead them to write or report honestly about me. I had a great meeting in Alaska on Biden's stupid War, a war that should have never happened!!!
Victor Davis Hanson: "They're melting down. I don't even think there is a Democratic Party right now…"
Video transcript
Welcome back, America. We're here with America's wise man, I call him Victor Davis Hanson. Victor Davis Hanson, I've been interested in your take on this. You see the Democrat Party really moving hard, hard, hard left with Marxists, Islamists, many of the people running for office who are winning their primaries are out of the closet anti-Semites. They denounce America. They denounce American history. And they're using the Democrat Party as the funnel through which to do these things. Has the Democrat Party basically collapsed? And now it's a party of ultra radical extremists of the European variety and the Middle East variety and so forth. What is going on there? Well, I do think it's collapsed because by any classical definition, Mark, they lost the 2024 popular vote, the electoral college vote. They don't have the Congress, they don't have the White House, they don't have the Supreme Court. They're 30, 70 on the 30 side of all these issues from crime, the environment, energy, the border, illegal immigration. And they're frustrated. They're angry because now Donald Trump is doing something they never imagined anybody would do. He's not treating the symptoms of the progressive pathology. He's talking about the sources. So he's going after the institutions that indoctrinate people in the university, NPR, PBS, the elite law firms. And that's setting them on fire because they understand that they always exercise power irrelevant of whether they actually had political power. They had cultural, social influence through these institutions, foundations, the university, K through 12 corporate boardrooms. And now when he went after WOKE and ESG and PBS, it's a whole new counter-revolution and they're melting down. I don't even think there is a Democratic Party right now. It's just an amalgamation of a bunch of different groups, but they're all way to the left. And we shouldn't fool ourselves about New York, Mark. I think it's not going to be, they may win, Mondome may win, but he couldn't win anywhere else, I don't think, other than these blue cities. And that's the minority of the population. So they're going over the cliff and like any addict, they would rather go over the cliff and then quit. A couple of points here. You make a very important point. Donald Trump is going where they are. He's going into the culture, into society, as you point out, because that's the battle. It's superficial just to think about politics. It's important to win elections, but you're talking about the entrenched, the enshrined, something that the radical leftists have wanted to do since Woodrow Wilson and so forth, control the culture, control the society. They've been doing it while Republicans have basically been dancing on the surface of this thing and Trump instinctively understands, I got to get to the roots of this thing, which I think is your point. I'd quibble a little bit. I don't think New York is an exception. Of course, they're not going to win Arkansas and they're not going to win states like that. I got that. But if they win all the major cities, or if they start to win all the major cities and even if these cities or states adopt 50% of what the Marxists and the Islamists are adopting, I would argue that California is already there and they're getting worse. We're going to have a huge problem because they changed the election systems. They changed the borders. We're not going to be in office 100% all the time. And they're radicals. It's the tail wagging the dog. I think this is why, Victor, I'd be curious in your response to this. I think this is why Schumer and Hocking Jeffries, who are supposed to be leaders of the Democrat Party, while they won't endorse this guy, Men Dami, in what they stand for, they won't come out full-throated and denounce it and attack it. The Marxists, the Islamists, the anti-Semites. They won't do it. When we come back, I would like your opinion about that because I think this is bigger than some people are willing to acknowledge. Maybe not with Trump in office because he's fighting it tooth and nail. Government-wide, he's doing those things, but he's not going to be in office forever and we're going to have the usual Republicans back. Perhaps. Perhaps. We'll be right back. Victor Davis Hanson, so what I'd like you to respond to is, isn't it possible that what we're seeing post-Donald Trump, even though I think Trump will have an effect on the party for many decades, he's Donald Trump, that the Democrat Party, on the other hand, this poison, there doesn't seem to be effective pushback. You point out there's really not even a party left. Isn't that how these radical leftists take control in country after country after country? They do. They're always a minority, but there's larger trends. I'm a little bit more optimistic, Mark, because the blue states are losing about four or five million people a year through migration out of these wrecked cities that have pension problems, crime, budget problems, racial tensions. The Republicans are going to pick up in the next census, even if there's not redistricting before, they're going to pick up a lot of House seats. Everybody knows that this red state model works and the blue state model doesn't and they're voting with their feet. They're doubling down on it. They're so frustrated. People are coming to them and saying you've got to change. You've got to do what Bill Clinton did, at least feign the idea that you're a moderate. We don't want any more McGovernism or Carterism, so that's what Bill Clinton did. He said he was going to close the border. I don't know if he was genuine or not, but he at least simulated that. That's what they're trying to tell these people, because they're looking at the long-term trends and it's not good. I think Mondami will probably win and he'll turn New York into what Chicago is now, or what Minneapolis is, or what San Francisco is, but the people will leave and they're leaving in droves already in New York. A lot of capital is leaving and that model is going to collapse. In San Francisco, of all places, they got rid of the DA, the Soros DA. They did the same thing in LA. They got a new mayor and there's a lot of people saying we're Democrats, but these people are socialists, communists, extremists. What we're watching is a frustrated elite, bicostal, mostly white and minority elite who are frustrated because they feel that their genius and their morality is not fully appreciated and they don't have power. They lost the middle class and Donald Trump came along and he said, "You know, I'm going to get rid of race as an identifier. I'm going to put class in there and I'm going to appeal to 55% of the Hispanic middle class, 25% of the black class." All of a sudden, the Democrats said, "Oh my gosh, we lost the '24 election because he brought all these minorities over to the working class and he made it a solidarity and we had an open border. We thought we were going to get 10 million people in. He stopped that and even if we did get them in, they might flip to go Republican." I think that longer trends are favorable if we can get over this, endure these socialists in these cities that are going to do some crazy things, but Trump is doing the right thing by going after the universities that are corrupt and going after the DOJ that was corrupt and the FBI and the CIA and, you know, K through 12. That's the source of their power ultimately. Mondami's an expression of that and if you cut the roots out, it'll die on the vine, I'm hoping. Trump is historic and iconic. Most of the rest of them are not. I don't disagree with you. This man is a force. This man is a power. He is historical in every respect. I've never seen anything like it. I don't think you've ever seen anything like it, which is kind of my point. I haven't. You make a great point. People are moving with their feet. That affects the electoral college. That affects the number of congressional seats there are. People don't like to be poor. People don't like to be imposed upon. People don't like to be pushed around, which is what the Islamists and the Marxists are all about. I just don't trust these bastards. I don't think they care about little D democracy, elections, electoral college or anything else. And they're going to be back. They're going to try and take back the bureaucracy, take back more of the courts. I do agree with you. I think this is one of the times where we're really seeing pushback against it. And the Democrat Party is discombobulated, but the radical left is not. They see opportunity. I'll give you a final word. Well, so far they said they were going to get rid of the filibuster, get rid of the electoral college, bring in Puerto Rico, make DC a state. And they haven't been able to do that. And they were five courtrooms, 93 indictments to destroy Trump. It made him stronger. They tried to get him off the ballot and 25 states failed. They raided his home to get 0.001 percent of the files he had. It didn't work. So they have thrown everything. I don't even get into the assassination attempts that they lowered the bar by encouraging that Hitler Trump argument. So every time they've tried something, if you look at the polls, it hurts them because I think the American people are really sick of these people. I just don't think there's ever there's ever been a if we look at Bob Dole, Mitt Romney, John McCain, the Bushes, nobody would have ever done what Trump is doing. He's taking it to them. He's waging a counter revolution. I've never seen anything like it. I could not agree more. I'm looking at post Trump because, you know, the left looks at the long picture of the communist. Look at the long picture. The Islamists look at the long picture. I'm trying to look at the long picture. You're not going to find a lot of Donald Trump's in Congress. You're not going to find a lot of Donald Trump's anywhere. Look, I'm hoping this change is permanent or as permanent as it can be. There's no question in my mind about it. But I just want conservatives, Republicans or anybody who believes in liberty and this republic to understand you need to be on your guard. You need to be resolute because these people don't go away. And I'm not talking about the Schumer's and the hot King Jeffries. I'm talking about the Marxist, the Islamists and those people. They are not going anywhere now. They don't care about polls. They don't care about elections unless they win them. They'll do whatever they have to do for power as far as they're concerned. And you and I agree on this. I'm just saying post. Yes, Trump. We better be very mindful of what we do in this country. Post Trump because we can still lose it. I agree. Last word again. No, I agree. We we only have three and a half half years to get some progress done. He's doing it. But I'm very worried if you can have a mega or a new Republican party without Trump. It's kind of like saying you can have sunlight without the sun. I hope you can. But we'll see. And I want to thank you. You are a great patriot. You're a great scholar. Thank you. We'll be right back.

Victor Davis Hanson: "Donald Trump broke the Democratic Party—and he exposed it for what it was…"
Video transcript
On Trump's greatest legacy, he broke the Democratic Party and he exposed it for what it was. It was a bicoastal elite party with a bunch of billionaires who spend lavishly and a bunch of subsidized poor and a professional class that feels frustrated. They make $200,000 and $300,000 a year, but they live in these blue cities that are very expensive and they can't buy their beautiful home. That's what the Mondami constituency is, frustrated young white professionals. And then they've lost the working class. It's not just the...they have lost the muscular classes, Hispanic muscular classes, black males, white. As I said before, if you look at 2016, '20 and '24, Donald Trump's white vote, it's pretty constant and he did not win the popular vote in 2016 or 2020 and yet he did win the popular vote and the electoral college in 2024 with the same percentage and actual numbers of white voters. So what happened? He picked up some women, he picked up some young people and he got 55% of Hispanic males and he got about 25% of black males and he picked up another 10% to 15% of Asian male. And how could that be if he was supposed to be a racist according to the Democrats? It happened because they don't like...it's not that they, they're just people. They don't want to be talked to. Nobody wants to be talked to and basically this is a caricature, but the democratic attitude toward a black truck driver or a Mexican American electrician was something like this. Now, you don't know what's good for you, but those 10,000 people crossing the border every year that we're going to...every day and the two to three million people that cross every year illegally in the Rio Grande Valley, they're going to be good for you. I don't care what you say about your schools being swamped, crime going up, they're good for you. Remember that. Men have a right to transition and they are now women and they're going to compete in your daughter's sports and you don't know what's good for you because you're too ignorant. But I will represent you. I'm a black woman with a PhD. I'm a Hispanic woman that's your congresswoman. I am your white liberal Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi and I will tell you what is good for you. Got it? You know what, you don't understand that gas at 550 a gallon is really good for you because the planet is heating up and the new Green Deal is going to save you. Get some solar panels and get on the team. So they talked down sanctimoniously and that was never clear when Barack Obama confronted those black democratic activists, young men, and said basically, "You don't know what you're doing. You think Donald Trump's good or something? You've got to get out there and support Harris. You're suffering basically from Marxist false consciousness and I, as an elite, know what's good for you and I will tell you, now go do it." That's what he basically said to them. For me, the locus classicus, the epitome of this is Pete Buttigieg. Everything about him represents what I just said. Sanctimonious, self-righteous, talk down, I know the answers, I know what's good for you. I am the transportation secretary. I don't think California is suffering from not enough freeways or it's too crowded. It's suffering from racist legacies of clover leaves and I'm going to make non-racist clovers. Nobody wants that and that's what the Democratic Party, it's a Karen Scold.

Adam Schiff, what he did was particularly brazen, I mean, for years he claimed homes in both Maryland and California as his primary residence. The law allows you only one. And he actually admits what he did, but, you know, he claims, "Oh, all members of Congress have two homes." Well, that may be true, but all members of Congress don't claim them both as primary residence and violating the law committing crime.

And the case against Latisha James is equally compelling and good luck claiming that others prepared the documents for her because she's on record stating you can't blame others, you're ultimately responsible. So she's trapped herself with her own words, Jason.
