It was a Great Honor to tour the Renovation (and some new Construction!) of the Federal Reserve Building with Chairman Jerome Powell, Senator Tim Scott, and others. Itâs got a long way to go, would have been much better if it were never started, but it is what it is and, hopefully, it will be finished ASAP. The cost overruns are substantial but, on the positive side, our Country is doing very well and can afford just about anything â Even the cost of this building! Iâll be watching and, hopefully, adding some expertise. As everyone knows, I renovated the Old Post Office on Pennsylvania Avenue, and it was a roaring SUCCESS. The total Construction cost was a small fraction of the Fed Buildingâs cost, and it is many times the size. With all of that being said, letâs just get it finished and, even more importantly, LOWER INTEREST RATES!

We lost a great friend today, the âHulkster.â Hulk Hogan was MAGA all the way â Strong, tough, smart, but with the biggest heart. He gave an absolutely electric speech at the Republican National Convention, that was one of the highlights of the entire week. This one moment changed politics forever. Donald Trump is here tonight. It was April 30, 2011, the White House Correspondents Dinner. A ballroom packed with elites, politicians, journalists, and celebrities. But what they didn't know was that they had just created their worst nightmare. Congratulations, Mr. President. Sitting in the crowd that night was Donald Trump. Not yet a politician, just an extremely rich businessman. A guy who dared to challenge the system and got mocked for it. Donald Trump has been saying that he will run for president as a Republican, which is surprising since I just assumed he was running as a joke. For weeks, Trump had been hammering Obama on his birthplace of Kenya. And the media, they couldn't handle it. So they did what the elites do best. They tried to humiliate him. And that night, Barack Hussein Obama took the stage and made Trump the punchline. No one is happier. No one is prouder to put this birth certificate matter to rest than the Donald. And that's because he can finally get back to focusing on the issues that matter. Like, did we fake the moon landing? The room absolutely loved it. They weren't laughing at a joke. They were laughing at Trump. They wanted him small, embarrassed, and broken. Obama kept swinging, mocking Trump's business, his TV show, and his ambition. All kidding aside, obviously we all know about your credentials and breadth of experience. Just recently, in an episode of "Celebrity Apprentice," at the steakhouse, the men's cooking team did not impress the judges from Omaha Steaks. And there was a lot of blame to go around. But you, Mr. Trump, recognized that the real problem was a lack of leadership. And so ultimately, you didn't blame Little John or Meat Loaf. You fired Gary Busey. Then came that fake image on the screen. The White House turned into a Trump casino. Say what you will about Mr. Trump. He certainly would bring some change to the White House. And see what we've got up there. The media howled, but Trump didn't move. That image, Trump sitting still while everyone else laughed, that was the moment. You can almost hear it in his head. Just you wait and see. Then it got worse. The host that night, liberal comedian Seth Meyers, picked up where Obama left off. Donald Trump often appears on Fox, which is ironic, because a Fox often appears on Donald Trump's head. If you're at the Washington Post table with Trump and you can't finish your entree, don't worry, the Fox will eat it. The room roared, but Trump didn't flinch. He sat there surrounded by smug elites who thought they had crushed him. They didn't realize they had actually just activated him. And as the night went on, Trump left early. No after parties, no cameras. But that night didn't fade. It burned. Roger Stone later said it plainly. That's the night he decided to run. Maybe I'll just run. Maybe I'll show them all. Trump never admitted it directly, but he didn't have to. Because four years later, he came down that escalator. Donald Trump is running for president and made his entrance by coming down the escalator at Trump Tower with his wife, Melania. We need somebody that literally will take this country and make it great again. The same media that laughed in 2011 laughed again in 2015. We better be ready for the fact that he might be leading a Republican ticket. Next, I know you don't believe that. I know you don't believe that. Embarrassing. They said he didn't stand a chance. Donald Trump will not be called president. He's not gonna be president. Donald Trump, just last week, he confirmed that he is again considering a run in 2016. Do it. My mother always said, be careful what you wish for, because you'll get it. And then people get jealous and try to take it away from you. They mocked the slogan. They mocked his supporters. They mocked you. But Trump didn't care. He started winning. This has been an amazing evening already. We've won five major states and it looks like we could win six or seven or eight or nine. One by one, he crushed the GOP field, Jeb Bush. Jeb Bush is a low energy person. Marco Rubio. Don't worry about it, little Marco. And Ted Cruz. You know, lying Ted Cruz came today. He couldn't draw 100 people. 100 people. Then he turned to Hillary, the ultimate swamp creature. Honestly, she has less energy than Jeb Bush. Admit it. And on November 8, 2016, he won. I've just received a call from Secretary Clinton. She congratulated us. It's about us on our victory. And the same people that laughed that night in 2011, they were silently crying in a corner. The punchline had become their president. They tried to stop him again. They impeached him, censored him, rigged debates. But Trump refused to go away. And in 2024, he won again. That dinner in 2011 was supposed to be the end of Trump. Instead, it was the beginning. The elites tried to humiliate him. But he took their mockery and turned it into a movement. He never forgot. And in the end, he got the last laugh. And this was the moment that changed politics forever.

President Trump's direction and with the support and coordination with the House Intelligence Committee Chairman Rick Crawford, today we've released a declassified oversight majority staff report that was produced in September of 2020. The stunning revelations that we are releasing today should be of concern to every American. This is not about Democrats or Republicans. This has to do with the integrity of our democratic republic and American voters having faith that the votes cast will count. There is irrefutable evidence that detail how President Obama and his national security team directed the creation of an intelligence community assessment that they knew was false. They knew it would promote this contrived narrative that Russia interfered in the 2016 election to help President Trump when selling it to the American people as though it were true. It wasn't. The report that we released today shows in great detail how they carried this out. They manufactured findings from shoddy sources. They suppressed evidence and credible intelligence that disproved their false claims. They disobeyed traditional tradecraft intelligence community standards and withheld the truth from the American people. In doing so, they conspired to subvert the will of the American people who elected Donald Trump in that election in November of 2016. They worked with their partners in the media to promote this lie, ultimately to undermine the legitimacy of President Trump and launching what would be a years long coup against him and his administration.

I mean, there's other things here. We spent $227,000 for Big Cat's YouTube channel from USAID. We spent $14 million for social cohesion in Mali, whatever the hell that means. So I can go on and on. I got the list here, and there's more that I didn't even bring the whole list. In the case of El Salvador, absolutely, absolutely, we deported gang members, gang members, including the one that you had a margarita with. And that guy is a human trafficker, and that guy is a gangbanger, and the evidence is going to be clear. In the days to come, you're going to see who you went to... Mr. Chairman, please. Mr. Secretary Rubio has the floor. Mr. Chairman, he can't make unsubstantiated comments like that. Secretary Rubio has the floor. Secretary Rubio should take that testimony to the federal floor of the United States because he hasn't done it under oath. Here's another point, okay? There is a division in our government between the federal branch and the judicial branch. No judge and the judicial branch cannot tell me or the president how to conduct foreign policy. No judge can tell me how I have to outreach to a foreign partner or what I need to say to them. And if I do reach to that foreign partner and talk to them, I have under no obligation to share that with a judiciary branch. Just like a judge cannot order me to negotiate with a foreign minister of Russia, they cannot order me to negotiate with a foreign minister or the president of El Salvador. And if I did negotiate with them, which we have responded to them, and we've told them, we've had communications with the president of El Salvador, I am under no obligation under our division of powers in this country to share with the judicial branch how I conducted diplomacy of the United States. It would actually be counterproductive. If I started sharing with courts, or frankly, with the media, my conversations with foreign leaders and all of their details, no foreign leader would talk to me again, and we would break trust with them. So I have complied with every court order. What I won't comply with is in order to disclose what I'm saying and what we're talking about with a foreign leader because then they won't talk to me. Diplomacy doesn't work that way. About the student visas, let me say this. I don't deport anybody, and I don't snatch anybody. The State Department does not have officers in the streets snatching everybody. What I do is revoke visas, and it's very simple. A visa is not a right, it is a privilege. People apply for student visas to come into the United States and study. And if you tell me that you're coming to the United States to lead campus crusades, to take over libraries and burn down, try to burn down buildings and acts of violence, we're not going to give you a visa. Is that what Ms. Ostor did? We're not going to give you a visa. Is that what she did? Come on, Mr. Secretary. And every single one of these visas, the factors are different. The bottom line is if you're coming here to stir up trouble on our campuses, we will deny you a visa. And if you have a visa and we find you, we will revoke you, and we're going to do more. There are more coming. We're going to continue to revoke the visas of people who are here as guests and are disrupting our higher education facilities. People are paying money. Kids pay money to go to school, and they have to walk a bunch of lunatics who are here on the computer. They're disrupting the foreign policy of the United States. I want to do more. I hope we can buy more of these people. That's pathetic, Mr. Secretary. In fact, the other day, the other day, some guy's led a riot. I forgot what university it was. And I asked, please, can you find the arrest records of all the people that were arrested at that riot at that campus? Because if any of them have a visa, we're going to revoke you. I feel so much safer than locking up people like Ms. Ostor and Ms. Secretary.

I am pleased to announce that the Trump Administration has reached a historic agreement with Columbia University. Columbia has agreed to pay a penalty of $200 Million Dollars to the United States Government for violating Federal Law, in addition to over $20 Million to their Jewish employees who were unlawfully targeted and harassed.
