The Supreme Court has upheld the Rule of Law in our Nation by allowing a President, whoever that may be, to be able to secure our Borders, and protect our families and our Country, itself. A GREAT DAY FOR JUSTICE IN AMERICA!

I am pleased to report that my long scheduled Annual Physical Examination will be done at Walter Reed Army Medical Center on Friday of this week. I have never felt better, but nevertheless, these things must be done!
Secretary of Treasury, Scott Bessent: âAlmost 70 countries have now approached us wanting to help rebalance global tradeâ¦â
Video transcript
Larry, I can tell you that there are 50, 60, maybe almost 70 countries now who have approached us so it's going to be a busy April, May, maybe into June and Japan is a very important military ally, they're a very important economic ally and the U.S. has a lot of history with them so I would expect that Japan's going to get priority just because they came forward very quickly but it's going to be very busy and if President Trump again gave himself maximum negotiating leverage and just when he achieved the maximum leverage he's willing to start talking.

The Budget Plan just passed by the United States Senate has my Complete and Total Endorsement and Support. All of the elements we need to secure the Border, enact Historic Spending Cuts, and make Tax Cuts PERMANENT, and much more, are strongly covered and represented in the Bill. Thank you to Senate Majority Leader John Thune, and House Speaker Mike Johnson for their hard work and attention to detail. There is no better time than now to get this Deal DONE! The House, the Senate, and our Great Administration, are going to work tirelessly on creating âTHE ONE, BIG, BEAUTIFUL BILL,â an appropriate name if Congress so likes. Everyone is going to be happy with the result. Passage will make, even the subject of World Trade, far easier and better for the U.S.A. THE HOUSE MUST PASS THIS BUDGET RESOLUTION, AND QUICKLY â MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!
âWhat we're not talking about is, oil was $76, now it's $65. Gasoline prices are going to plummetâ¦â
Video transcript
What we're not talking about is oil was $76, now $65. Gasoline prices are going to plummet. Any other time, that would be the number one story. In fact, if you go to the polls, what will get you elected as president? Much cheaper gasoline or Wall Street crying. I'm just being honest about it, right? So yeah, people have these stocks in their 401(k)s, and guess what? We've been through it. There's a correction on average every year. There's a bear market every couple years. I think most people are accustomed to that,

Yesterday, China issued Retaliatory Tariffs of 34%, on top of their already record setting Tariffs, Non-Monetary Tariffs, Illegal Subsidization of companies, and massive long term Currency Manipulation, despite my warning that any country that Retaliates against the U.S. by issuing additional Tariffs, above and beyond their already existing long term Tariff abuse of our Nation, will be immediately met with new and substantially higher Tariffs, over and above those initially set. Therefore, if China does not withdraw its 34% increase above their already long term trading abuses by tomorrow, April 8th, 2025, the United States will impose ADDITIONAL Tariffs on China of 50%, effective April 9th. Additionally, all talks with China concerning their requested meetings with us will be terminated! Negotiations with other countries, which have also requested meetings, will begin taking place immediately. Thank you for your attention to this matter!
âRates are plummeting, oil prices are plummeting, deregulation is happening. President Trump is not going to bend..."
Video transcript
That's what we've been pointing out this morning. And the president has been pointing it out. Rates are plummeting. Oil prices are plummeting. Deregulation is happening. We've got all of these things happening. President Trump is not going to bend. He told me a number of times that he's trying to build the economy and make it independent, as opposed to relying on China for things like prescription drugs.

âI appreciate what the President is doing on tariffs...Australia has sold $29 billion worth of beef in the United States, and we haven't been able to sell one hamburger in Australia because of barriersâ¦you look at these numbers, and the ranchers of Wyoming are saying thank you Mr. President, it is about time!â
Video transcript
And I appreciate what the president is doing on tariffs, specifically in our home state of Wyoming. In terms of beef, the cattle producers, they're saying it is about time. One of the countries that you just showed on that slip before I came in, Australia. Australia sold $29 billion worth of beef in the United States, and we haven't been able to sell one hamburger in Australia because of Barry. They showed Thailand 30% tariffs on beef coming from the United States, Vietnam 50%. You look at these numbers, and the ranchers of Wyoming are saying, "Thank you, Mr. President. It is about time."

âTo see those plants close, one after another, and just sit idle and then fall into disrepair and collapse, they become abandoned buildings...I'm glad to see Donald Trump finally standing up saying he's going to do something about it."
Video transcript
You know, a lot of auto worker families are generational. Their dad worked at one of the auto companies their grandfather may have. They may have uncles like I did that worked in the auto industry. My grandfather also worked for Chrysler. And to see those plants close one after another and just sit idle and then fall into disrepair and collapse, they become abandoned buildings. It's like a war zone in Detroit. So it's been really painful. So I've been fighting for the auto industry for the past 15 or 18 years. And I'm glad to see Donald Trump finally standing up and saying he's going to do something about it.

"The opportunity is to rebuild the global trading system in a way that works for the United States, which we didn't have."
Video transcript
what the opportunity is, is to rebuild the global trading system in a way that works for the United States, which we didn't have. I think there's also the opportunity on globalism, to reverse it. E.J. was talking about China, you know, they're still getting loans from the World Bank, I couldn't stop it. They're still getting debt restructurings. When they make a bad loan abroad, they get all their money back. And so the whole system is set up in a way that favors them and not the U.S. So this is a starting point.

âThis is balancing our economy with countries that have taken advantage of us. There are countries, for decades, that have got rich over the backs of the workers here in Americaâ¦I applaud the President (Trump) for having a backboneâ¦â
Video transcript
What we have wrong here, Shannon, is this isn't a trade war. This is balancing our, our economy with countries that have taken advantage of us. There's countries for decades that have got rich over the backs of the workers here in, in America. What's happened is we've lost manufacturing jobs were because of our unfree, uh, unfree, um, unfair trade deals that have left America, went to other countries, building their products and turning it back around and selling it to our economy. The countries need access to our economy because we're the largest and the greatest economy in the world. The problem is it's costing us manufacturing jobs. It is time for someone to stand up. And I applaud president Trump for having a backbone and being the first president to ever stand up and say, hold on a second. It's not about today's economy. It's about the future of America's economy going down the road. We know the trade deficits have spread. They've only got worse year after year after year. And at some point, Someone had to do something about it and President Trump is finally doing that.

âMore than 50 countries have reached out to the president to begin a negotiationâ¦â
Video transcript
I got a report from the USTR last night that more than 50 countries have reached out to the president to begin a negotiation, but they're doing that because they understand that they bear a lot of the tariff. And so I don't think that you're going to see a big effect on the consumer in the US, because I do think that the reason why we have a persistent long-run trade deficit is these people have very inelastic supply. They've been dumping goods into the country in order to create jobs, say, in China.

âWe added almost twice as many jobs as people were predictingâ¦â
Video transcript
we added almost twice as many jobs as people were predicting, but they were quality jobs. Again, compare and contrast Joe Biden's jobs numbers. Most of Joe Biden's jobs that he added were government jobs and part-time jobs. In this jobs report, a lot of these are construction jobs. They're full-time jobs. They're not government jobs. This is the tip of the iceberg. And I think at the end of the day, that's part of the American dream, right, is to be able to have a job that you can support your family and maybe be able to afford to buy your first house and buy your first pickup truck and maybe even your first bass boat. So I think that we're going in the right direction. It's a great jobs report. It's a good first number. This, I told my friends yesterday, this is complicated, but before, trust President Trump, he's done this before, we had a great economy. I think that this is the start of a golden era.

This is NOT SUSTAINABLE! The United States can't lose $1.9 trillion on tradeâ¦
Video transcript
I've spoken to many countries, they all wanted to just so you understand the power of what I'm doing. Every country is calling and being very solicitous of us. Very, very nice. They're being very nice. And we have to be able to justify. This is not sustainable. The United States can't lose $1.9 trillion on trade. We can't do that, and also spend a lot of money on NATO in order to protect European nations. We cover them with military, then we lose money on trade, and the whole thing is crazy. And I got elected on that basis. We explained it. You know, the American people understand it a lot better than the media, but the media understands it. And much of the media writes correctly about it, I must say.

Seeing the World Champion Los Angeles Dodgers at 11:00 A.M. Exciting!!! DJT
Countries from all over the World are talking to us. Tough but fair parameters are being set. Spoke to the Japanese Prime Minister this morning. He is sending a top team to negotiate! They have treated the U.S. very poorly on Trade. They donât take our cars, but we take MILLIONS of theirs. Likewise Agriculture, and many other âthings.â It all has to change, but especially with CHINA!!!
The United States has a chance to do something that should have been done DECADES AGO. Donât be Weak! Donât be Stupid! Donât be a PANICAN (A new party based on Weak and Stupid people!). Be Strong, Courageous, and Patient, and GREATNESS will be the result!
Oil prices are down, interest rates are down (the slow moving Fed should cut rates!), food prices are down, there is NO INFLATION, and the long time abused USA is bringing in Billions of Dollars a week from the abusing countries on Tariffs that are already in place. This is despite the fact that the biggest abuser of them all, China, whose markets are crashing, just raised its Tariffs by 34%, on top of its long term ridiculously high Tariffs (Plus!), not acknowledging my warning for abusing countries not to retaliate. Theyâve made enough, for decades, taking advantage of the Good OLâ USA! Our past âleadersâ are to blame for allowing this, and so much else, to happen to our Country. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!
