But first, thank you, America. That's the focus of tonight's angle. I'm so happy. I was so nervous a few weeks ago. A flight attendant whispered those words in my ear this morning. An hour later, another stranger -- I don't know, I was about 35 or so with a wife and a few small children -- approaches me and says, "What a great Thanksgiving this one's going to be." No. I've heard this time and again in recent weeks, and you know why. Of course, I get it. It's a self-selecting group. The Trump supporters are in a good mood. But I still think America is feeling more hopeful this holiday. People are breathing a sigh of relief. They can actually speak their minds and not worry, perhaps, about getting fired or getting penalized or getting canceled. And isn't it time to stop fighting and start having some fun? A constant state of turmoil and fury should not be our natural state. No, no, no, no. I am ashamed to call myself an American. In fact, I no longer call myself an American. Wake up! This is f***ing America and this is sad. It's so sad, really, and so hilarious, but it is mostly sad. And just think of how the anti-Trumpers invested in Judge Mershawn's sentencing of Trump in Manhattan. I want the judge to give him six months. I worked in the West Wing to be eligible to work in the West Wing. You have to qualify for a top secret security clearance. Felons can't get top secret security clearances. When you spend a year in prison in New York or under, you serve in Rikers Island. Okay? Ooh, the audience goes. I love watching these clips now. Thank God this Thanksgiving that Americans did not fall for that twisted and wishful thinking, including, by the way, young people. We should be so grateful to voters 30 and under who turned out for Trump in numbers we haven't seen since Reagan. It turns out, young people, they don't want to go through another four years of declining opportunities and high prices. Why should they? Today, they're giving Donald Trump's transition handling a staggering 65 percent approval. And, by the way, not just young people, more Hispanic and African-American voters turned out for Trump and tuned out the lies. They see MAGA more as an opportunity and not as a threat. But, bumbling Biden, he sold it so hard. Extreme movement of America, the MAGA Republicans, led by a defeated president, is trying to steal history now. And, thank God, enough Americans are over Obama as well. We do not need four years of a wannabe king, a wannabe dictator running around trying to punish his enemies. America is ready to turn the page. We are ready for a better story. Georgia, we're ready for a president, Kamala Harris. And, speaking of talents past their expiration date, I want to thank God that Oprah is going to somehow squeak by this holiday season with the paltry payday her production company made from Kamala's campaign, Poor Baby. After all, she's such a political savant. We don't get to sit this one out. If we don't show up tomorrow, it is entirely possible that we will not have the opportunity to ever cast a ballot again. And thank the good Lord for the voting public who put Donald Trump over the top and who are still happy with their choice. A new Emerson poll shows 54 percent of Americans have a favorable view of Donald Trump now. That is a record high for him. Now, the list of what we should be grateful for goes on and on. Now, remember, some of the so-called political experts warned that candidate Trump should stick to the economy and the border and stay away from the culture war issues. Well, as usual, Trump relied on his gut, and he ignored their advice. We will get critical race theory and transgender insanity the hell out of our schools. We will keep men out of women's sports. That's like a no brainer. And it turns out we can be very thankful that it looks like Trump broke woke. The largest retailer in the United States is dumping its diversity, equity and inclusion charade. Walmart is pulling back on diversity, equity and inclusion programs. Why the changes? What we're trying to do is to ensure that every customer, every associate feels welcome here to shop and to feel like they belong. And we're going to continue to make the best decisions we can that makes everyone, our customers, our associates feel like this is an environment they can shop in and thrive in. All right. That's a really long-winded way of saying we're listening to our consumers now who think woke is a joke. Trump doesn't just know how to read the room, people. He reads the country. Case in point, his announcement yesterday that he's planning significant tariffs to crack down on fentanyl and other border related issues. Thank God. Now, remember, tariffs are to free trade absolutists what sunshine is to vampires, but real people see their utility and the leverage that tariffs provide. According to that same CBS news poll, 52% of Americans support using tariffs on imported goods. Smart. Trump now has everyone's attention and suddenly I predict we're going to see even fewer migrants and less fentanyl coming across the border. More on China's blustery response later on in the show. And we'd be remiss on the angle in not being supremely grateful for Elon Musk, not only for his generous support of Trump in the final months of the campaign, and that was generous, but for his foresight in buying Twitter. I think it's a very tough call about whether or not Republicans could have won without him and X. Free speech won the day and the election and deranged never Trumpers who urged that Trump be censored and they were into pushed Musk and others like RFK and Tulsi Gabbard and Nicole Shanahan out of the Democrat party and into the Trump coalition. And of course, there would be no coalition without Trump himself, the master communicator. President Trump, I really don't know what he said at the end of that sentence. I don't think he knows what he said either. Look, Trump, the fighter, Trump, the pragmatist, Trump, the peacemaker. I will end the war in Ukraine, which would have never started if I was president. And I will stop the chaos in the Middle East. And of course, Trump, the meme generator. He makes politics fun again. And shouldn't we start taking that whole pursuit of happiness thing seriously at this point? I think sometimes as conservatives, and it's true, we're always on the lookout for the traps, the obstacles, the challenges, the potholes, the landmines. But this should be a time for hope. We have achieved amazing victories this year, victories that few predicted in January 2021, not even I. And now we have an incredible opportunity, the best in decades, to build a better world for our children and our grandchildren and expand this coalition to all 50 states. And speaking of kids, I am really thankful for my children, Maria, Dimitri, and Nico. Yeah, teenagers drive me crazy, of course, but what would life be without that kind of crazy? And I'm grateful for you, the viewers, and that's the angle.

Good evening everyone. I'm Laura Ingraham. This is Ingraham Angle from Washington tonight. Just moments ago on Truth Social, Donald Trump revealed one of his first acts as president. This is a big one. On January 20th, as one of his many first executive orders, he will sign all necessary documents to charge Mexico and Canada a 25% tariff on all products coming into the United States. And it's ridiculous open borders. It's time for them to pay a very big price. Most of that, of course, focus on Mexico there. More on that later. Plus, Eric Trump will react to that and a lot more. But first, lawfare loses. That's the focus of tonight's angle. Well, he came in very hot against Trump. Good evening. Today, an indictment was unsealed, charging Donald J. Trump with conspiring to defraud the United States, conspiring to disenfranchise voters and conspiring and attempting to obstruct an official proceeding. The attack on our nation's capital on January 6th, 2021 was an unprecedented assault on the seat of American democracy. So sanctimonious. But it turns out the unprecedented assault on our democracy was committed not by Donald Trump, but by the legal henchmen like Jack Smith and their political and media backers. Now, today, Smith was compelled to file motions to dismiss his cases against Trump, one of which was promptly granted by D.C. District Judge Tanya Chutkin. Now, this is obviously a huge victory for President-elect Trump, but Smith and his allies tried their best to frame the result as not based on the merits, but simply compelled by longstanding policy. This has nothing to do with the strength of the case. This simply has to do with the verdict, essentially, that voters gave on the Justice Department policy, longstanding Justice Department policy. The Department is not allowed to prosecute a president, a sitting president. That shield, essentially, also applies to him as a elected president, as the president-elect. Now, when the news came out, Donald Trump posted on Truth Social that the cases were empty and lawless and should never have been brought. They are celebrating. This was the goal all along, was that they would get these cases dropped. The idea of it actually being revived in their mind seems highly unlikely. This seems like the end of all this. Well, but not so fast. While we love seeing these cases falling into the abyss one after the other, the petty and vindictive Jack Smith made sure to request that the cases be dismissed without prejudice, meaning? These cases could be revived after Trump serves this next term, right? That's right. I mean, look, if you look at the language that the special counsel used and that the judge uses in deciding this without prejudice means that when Donald Trump is no longer president of the United States, these cases could be revived. Yeah, that theoretically, the charges could be reinstated on January 21st, 2029, when Donald Trump is 82 years young. Now, of course, Trump's DOJ can and should take actions to ensure that these cases aren't just dormant, they're dead. So as we celebrate Donald Trump's beating the Lawfare League at their own game, we should also, we must never forget how close they came to upending our entire system of government with their corrupt and illegal use of our justice system. Now, remember, they were so desperate to stop Trump. The left even tried to use a whacked out interpretation of the 14th Amendment, which was a complete joke, to prevent him from being on the ballot in key states. Thank God they were goose egged by the Supreme Court, which struck down the effort with an exclamation mark back in May. But ever since Trump announced his third run at the presidency, the DC machine and their venal auxiliaries were intent on locking him up. They like they're like jackals circling a wounded lion. The search of Marlago. It just sends the message that there is no person in this country who's above the law. What we are seeing here is exactly what should be done. We need to recognize and praise Merrick Garland for following the rule of law. The message that it sends is really important that even the former president of the United States can be held accountable and should be and will be. And Trump's aides and allies were forced to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars in legal fees. People's lives were turned upside down. Then it was who will turn on Trump first? Who'll take a plea deal and give up the goods? All this speculating was so stupid. Then let's not forget following his motorcade in Manhattan to the courthouse. What about fingerprints? What about the mugshot? Everything you're going to be able to see live on TV. They're going to be mugshots. They're going to be fingerprints. Donald Trump will be fingerprinted. He will be photographed and end up with a mugshot. A picture that will live in infamy. The first mugshot of an American president splashed across the front pages this morning. Of course he turned that into a huge coup for himself because he's smarter than they are. Of course, what about all the taxpayer dollars that were spent on these fraudulent cases? We'll never get it back. And we'll never really know how much was spent. Newsweek estimated that what about 50 million or so was spent by just Jack Smith team. That's an understatement. So what we saw was a serious concerted effort to use all the resources of the federal government to put Donald Trump in prison for the rest of his life. And it was all because they wanted to prevent you the people from having your say. And of course, him from being president. So history is going to remember Jack Smith and Alvin Bragg, Fonny Willis, and the judges who let these cases get as far as they did as modern day keystone cops who chased Trump around hounding him, trying to keep him off the campaign trail because they hated his agenda. They hate everything he stands for. So it's a mistake to write them off as all incompetence. Their teams were backed by some of the smartest and toughest, meanest lawyers out there. They worked nights and weekends and through holidays all to put him behind bars and subvert this election. The only reason Donald Trump is not in jail now is because of you, the voters. And of course Trump himself. Imagine if Trump wasn't Trump. Forget about it. Most people would have folded like a $20 lawn chair. He fought like his freedom depended on it, but mostly because our freedom depended on it. If Harris had won, this sick weaponization of our justice system would have been validated. At least for now, it's on ice. But despite these setbacks, the angle does not believe the Democrats have given up on this lawfare strategy. In a statement reacting to the dismissal, Adam Schiff today ripped the system saying, if Democrats, you know, basically saying that the system itself failed, failed the people, failed to do what it was supposed to do. And I'm telling you, if the Democrats somehow managed to take the House in 2026 and they could, it is highly probable that they will do everything in their power, stay with me here, to impeach Donald Trump again. You think I'm kidding? Well, we'll see. And if Democrats win in 2028, I mean, they're just going to resume the case that we're talking about tonight and they'll probably try to go after Vance as well. And anyone else connected to Trump. This is why the DOJ has to be cleaned out. I think Pam Bondi can do it. The Democrats and their never Trump poodles have done enormous damage to these institutions and they will do it all again. They do not care. There should be, however, consequences where appropriate so that this never happens again. And that's the end.

Laura, I've talked about fentanyl every single day of the campaign trail. It's something that affects me great. I have four friends who have lost children based on fentanyl. Cherish every single moment that you have." And he's literally looking at my son, sitting on my lap at his first NFL football game. And it broke my heart. When my father sent out that tweet, "You want to allow drugs to come through our southern border? We're going to tariff you. You want to allow them to come through Canada? We're going to tariff you. China, if you're going to allow this stuff to get sold in our country, largely produced in China, we're going to add another 10 percent to your chair. We are going to cost your countries, your economies. We're going to cost your businesses billions, hundreds of billions of dollars. If you think you're going to poison Americans, it's not going to happen. You're not going to destroy your youth. You're not going to destroy our society. You're not going to destroy our families. Democrats dismantled the border and in return the border crisis dismantled the Democrats. John Fetterman says it was the final nail in the coffin. Would you be willing to go to jail for these things? Yeah, I'm not afraid of that. Democrats want to get arrested to stop foreigners from being arrested. Good luck running for reelection with that. Trump's going to treat Denver like a woman. He's going to protect the city whether they like it or not. But some people say that's racist and sexist. I think first and foremost, the first thing is to make sure that to the extent that we can get the nominee for attorney general on the record through Senate confirmation hearings where they are going to be asked and should be asked tough questions. That's the first thing. I mean, we don't want the Justice Department to turn into the just ice department when it comes to black and brown people and women in this country. Now, if they read the polls, they'd realize black and brown people back mass deportations. It's only the white liberals who don't. In New York City, brutal Venezuelan gangs are recruiting kids from migrant families to join their ranks. In Virginia, an illegal with a mile long rap sheet was arrested for attempting to rape someone just days after being popped from jail. And at the border, an unaccompanied two year old was found by border patrol with only a paper containing names and phone numbers. Watch. Those are news. No, I just got to my mind to Papa. No, Venezuela. For all the vias, Mama. Understand. Michelle Obama's Chris O'Meara, one of her deputies, getting rich off the backs of migrant kids. She runs an NGO called Global Refuge, which houses and provides services to migrant kids. In 2018, a group had 50 mil in revenue three years later. It quadrupled thanks to 180 million dollar federal grant from Joe. And even though it helped half as many kids compared to 2019, Chris's salary more than doubled. She makes about a half a mil. She gets rich. The more migrant kids come in, the more open the border, the more money Michelle Obama's people make. Think about that. The machine wants chaos at the border and our streets and they don't care who gets hurt. We do. And so does Chris Hansen, who caught an illegal trying to sleep with a child. Watch. Are you here legally or illegally? Illegally. Illegally. Yes, sir. Ten years. Ten years. When you walked into this house. To have sex with a 14 year old child. You gave up any reasonable expectation of privacy. So now I need you to tell me. Why you thought this was something that was OK. Well, you know the media says that migrants don't really commit that much crime, but that's not what you found. Well, and it's more than that, Jesse. So when Polk County Sheriff Brady Judd and his team conduct these investigations, they do the predator stings that we're a part of and they do a larger human trafficking operation. So out of all of that, 25 illegal immigrants were caught. That's 16% of those who were arrested up from 10% six months prior. All right, so that's a pretty significant percentage. Yeah. Of people not from this country, from somewhere else, have been allowed here and they've assimilated quickly. They're now appearing on Chris Hansen. That's exactly right. And they're trafficking vulnerable women who were brought to this country, who paid thousands of dollars to get in, right? And then are forced into sexual slavery to pay off that debt. So we've got that going on on one side of the investigation in one house. Then we've got the predator sting on our side in which you saw people like Ezekiel. And you saw that two-year-old, when you see that, they're arriving without family, two years old. What's that about? It breaks my heart. And this is something that has to be stopped because the child immigrant population is likely among the most vulnerable in the world. They can be preyed upon in so many different ways. And I watch it in every sting operation I do, Jesse. And on True Blue, there are 100 new episodes, 100 new examples of just that. And the cartels are getting filthy rich exploiting these women and children. That's right. And if you're in the fentanyl business, if you're in any criminal enterprise, there is an element of human trafficking and sexual predation. And it looks like by threatening to slap 25% tariffs on Canada and Mexico on day one, that is a huge first step into getting this thing under control. Whether these tariffs go into effect or not, and we don't even know the repercussions, Mexico and Canada might come to the table immediately. Well, yeah. And you have to have an effort on the part of these other countries to control who comes in here. They have to stop them. During the past administration, there was this effort to create jobs and businesses. And that's fine. And that seed money is well spent. But that's 10 years down the road before we see results from that. We need to stop these people now. Right. We don't want to see any more of these videos. We actually want to put Chris Hansen out of business with the migrant stings. I could do a cooking show someplace. Yeah. No more migrant stings for Chris. Please, America, help us out.
