I'm proud to be partnering with my very good friend Lee Greenwood, who doesn't love his song "God Bless the USA" in connection with promoting the "God Bless the USA" Bible. This Bible is the King James Version and also includes our founding father documents, yes, the Constitution, which I'm fighting for every single day, very hard to keep Americans protected. Also the Bill of Rights, the Declaration of Independence, and the Pledge of Allegiance are all part of this "God Bless the USA" Bible, and it's very important and very important to me. I want to have a lot of people have it. You have to have it for your heart, for your soul. Many of you have never read them and don't know the liberties and rights you have as Americans and how you are being threatened to lose those rights. It's happening all the time. It's a very sad thing that's going on in our country, but we're going to get it turned around. Religion and Christianity are the biggest things missing from this country, and I truly believe that we need to bring them back and we have to bring them back fast. I think it's one of the biggest problems we have. That's why our country is going haywire. We've lost religion in our country. All Americans need a Bible in their home, and I have many. It's my favorite book. It's a lot of people's favorite book. This Bible is a reminder that the biggest thing we have to bring back America and to make America great again is our religion. Religion is so important. It's so missing, but it's going to come back, and it's going to come back strong, just like our country is going to come back strong. In the end, we do not answer to bureaucrats. In Washington, we answer to God in heaven. Christians are under siege. We must protect content that is pro-God. We love God, and we have to protect anything that is pro-God. We must offend God in the public square and not allow the media or the left-wing groups to silence, censor, or discriminate against us. We have to bring Christianity back into our lives and back into what will be again a great nation. Our founding fathers did a tremendous thing when they built America on Judeo-Christian values. Now that foundation is under attack, perhaps as never before. What can we do? Stand up, speak out, and pray that God will bless America again. I'm proud to endorse and encourage you to get this Bible. We must make America pray again. Pray, get educated, get motivated, and stand with me and the legions of Americans asking God to bless our great nation, to bring our great nation back, and to make America great again. It was supposed to start today now. -Talk about what Trump is talking about. -And then they bring a fact-checker in, while he's still talking. He just -- It really is wild. And the fact-checker's wrong, flat-out wrong. CNN not to be trusted, and neither are these people. -Shut up! I love that, actually. It's so effective. But the noise is meant to distract us from the very real failures of Joe Biden, like I said, in the top of the show.

Joe Biden may be in the White House, but he's still in the basement, absolutely. I don't know if it's technically downstairs or upstairs, but he is in hiding just like he was in 2020. Remember that? COVID was the big excuse. Joe got to stay in the basement, one or two media appearances max a week, never really on the campaign trail because he was a gaffe-prone machine. Anything could happen. They exploited, to the hilt, COVID. It protected Joe Biden. And the cases against Donald Trump are their protection for Joe Biden. It's like the new basement. The cases against Trump, if you've been watching this show, you know and I know that everything that's happening to him is a crime. These are fraudulent prosecutions, no doubt in the world. However, I was a little bit naive because I would seize these cases and read the indictments and just drill down and prove how that's false and how they're railroading him. But I just joined in to the noise. Granted, most of the noise was, on the other side, disagreeing with me, but altogether it sounds kind of like this. (indistinct chatter) All right, that's enough, that's enough, that's enough. All day long, it's about Trump. Today especially, tomorrow, yesterday, that's it. These criminal cases. And what does that mean for Joe Biden? You know, this should be a referendum on Joe Biden's presidency, but somehow it's not. Joe Biden lost a war in Afghanistan. We all saw it. Is anyone talking about that? This is his legacy. How often is he confronted with new fresh questions about Afghanistan? Virtually never. How about inflation? We're still in the grips of it. I mean, I buy lunch, I eat out, it is insane. I'm making tuna fish sandwiches from home now and peanut butter and jelly. My wife actually makes them. I'm not gonna buy lunch out, nobody is. The Ukraine invasion, everybody knows. 61% of the American people believe that this would not be happening if Donald Trump were still president. And what about the border? That's Joe Biden, all right? That's him. And for every indictment, for every case, for every hearing, for every motion, we're not talking about this. We're not talking about the transgender mess that has been encouraged and embraced by Joe Biden, the sexualization of children. The moment in America has been designed, really, to protect Joe and hurt Donald Trump. I don't agree with everything that Chris Christie says. Remember Chris Christie? But he kinda nailed it when, a few months ago, he predicted that Joe Biden could not really sustain a presidential campaign. You see Joe Biden on Air Force One doing seven, eight campaign stops a day at 82 years old and being effective. Can you imagine how many gaffes they're gonna be in those speeches? How many mistakes? How many outright falsehoods they'll be? Not because of any other reason, they're just making it up. Look, he's not-- - I know, I know. - John, look, he's not capable of running a traditional American race. - He's totally right. COVID kept him off the campaign trail in 2020, and now Donald Trump's indictments and these phony cases against him, well, the scrutiny is off of Joe Biden. And, you know, it's quite apparent now that Trump is not going to get convicted in any serious way, at least before the election. And I thought, great, okay. Then he's, this has worked to his favor and he's enhanced in the polls, but they still have kind of dirtied him up, right? I mean, if you falsely accuse somebody, you kind of dirty them up. You also rough them up, literally arresting somebody, tide them up, take them off the campaign trail. Even if they don't get a conviction, some of this plan has already worked for them, but it does also look like it's backfiring, doesn't it? And some of the other things that Joe Biden has gotten away with, I mean, this is the documents, the classified documents in his garage. Can anybody believe that this happened and we're just going to pretend it didn't? We're just going to blow it off? You know, look at that dump of a garage and everybody has kind of a sloppy garage, but that's bad. Where were the documents in Mar-a-Lago? On a stage, and only, by the way, a sliver of these documents. I'm talking about two folders full were actually classified. You know, I've been in that room. I've been in that very room. My interview with Trump from last year was in that very room. You know the security to get into that place? Incredibly intense. I had Secret Service dogs. I had metal detectors, wands, barricades that you had to drive through. You can't just walk in there like you could into Joe Biden's garage, especially when he was an ex vice president before he started running for a president. So he's off the hook. No, he's not. We have to remind everybody just what, forgive me, a hypocrite Joe Biden is. I was going to say something worse. This is the ultimate moment, I believe, in hypocrisy. We all know about the documents, right? The documents that were found in Joe Biden's possession. They tried to make this look worse than it was Donald Trump. They took him out of the boxes, threw him on the floor. Biden actually had him on the floor. And you remember Joe's reaction? - When you saw the photograph of the top secret documents laid out on the floor at Mar-a-Lago, what did you think to yourself, looking at that image? - How that could possibly happen, how it won anyone could be that irresponsible. And I thought, what data was in there that may compromise sources and methods? By that, I mean names of people who helped her, et cetera. And it's just totally irresponsible. - How could this possibly happen? The president of the United States caught in the ultimate moment of hypocrisy and everything's fine. They want us to forget it. They want us to be obsessed with this motion and that indictment and Judge Smith and Judge Engaron and all this nonsense. This guy has so much to defend and he can't explain it. And folks, if you watch this show, I'm the only guy who knows this in the country. It's accessible to everybody, but no one, and I mean no one has reported it, that Joe Biden himself loaded the classified documents into the vehicle at the vice presidential residence himself. Now, a couple of quick things. That is the vice presidential residence. It's called the Naval Observatory and Joe Biden, with his wife, lived there between 2009 and 2017 from the her report. We know that classified documents were all over the place at the Naval Observatory. That wasn't really a big problem. It was kind of a problem, but this is where it gets really, really bad. When it's time for Joe to move out, when he's no longer gonna be the vice president, Georgetown movers show up, the moving company, they actually had a work order that said Joe Biden didn't want anybody packing certain boxes. He wanted to do it himself, and he was loading those boxes onto the truck, okay? Now the her committee, the her investigators, are basically saying that Joe was loading classified documents onto that truck. It's just logical. And they cited one military aide recalled seeing him, Joe Biden, packing by himself, and just him moving his stuff one at a time into the truck. This is really, really bad for Joe Biden, but it's almost like it never happened. We're worried about checks that Donald Trump wrote himself to his own attorney in 2016. You're allowed to do it. It's not like he stole money from anybody, it was his money. What really bothers me about this also is that it wasn't picked up by members of Congress. I mean, they could have had a field day with this, right? No, I mean, I don't know, some staffer picked out what they thought was important. I think what we just saw is pretty damn important and devastating for Joe Biden. So many members of Congress, well, they're just not into the job. They all want something else. And this guy, Congressman Mike Gallagher, Republican of Wisconsin, for just a few more days, you know, he's quitting on April 19th. Too late, apparently, for them to have a special election where they could possibly get another conservative in there. So with his leaving, Republicans are down to a one vote majority. And I think this is a total betrayal and a dereliction of duty, especially for a guy who talks about duty on our country all the time. His last election, he first got elected in '16, but in November of 2022, look at that. He slaughtered, 223,000 people came out and voted for Mike Gallagher for a two year term. That's how long these things last, two years, 24 months. But he's quitting with eight months to go. That is one third, I believe, of the work he has, of the work that 223,000 people voted for him to do. Now, why is he leaving? Well, he's complaining about a couple of things. Number one, he says Congress has now become, let's see, Congress is devolving into a green room for cable news shows and social media stardom. That guy does a lot of cable TV, by the way, but that's okay. Here's what it looks like he's really leading for, a job at Palantir. There's some sort of tech company. One report says he's gonna work as an advisor to the CEO, Alex Karp. Now, I don't know much about this company, but take a look at the money Alex Karp pays himself. I have a feeling if you're in his orbit, you're going to do very, very well, don't you? I guess that's an offer too good to refuse, right? You just blow off your constituents, even blow off the country. I could take it from certain individuals leaving, but from this guy, Mike Gallagher, and his self-righteous prognostications about how good he is, check it out. My family first came to Northeast Wisconsin seven generations ago in 1845. Family taught me the value of hard work, of service to community, of service to country. These things are so nauseating and canned, aren't they? You know, most families are yelling and screaming about getting the homework done. Give me a break, all of it. It is, but I guess people fall for this schmaltzy stuff, don't we? Next. I felt I owed an enormous debt of gratitude to my family, to this community in Northeast Wisconsin, to everyone that helped raise me and all the experiences I had. And I wanted to pay back a debt I felt I owed. And I just felt that if I look back and I didn't do my part, that I would regret it. We need people who will step up and serve. We need leaders. We need leaders who are ready to fight every single day to protect our rights, to protect what makes us great as a country. - It's really intense about walking that woman down the sidewalk, right with me, man. Every single day, except the last 200 days of the term, right? - And I will work harder than anyone else in defense of our constitution on behalf of this community and on behalf of your families, our state, and our country. And you will know beyond a shadow of a doubt that your congressman is ready to fight every single day for this country and for Wisconsin's future. - Beyond a shadow of a doubt, he will fight every single day for Wisconsin and the country. Nope, he's out of there to make a gazillion dollars. And that's unfortunately what almost all of them are there for. We don't know too much about what these guys make because they're private citizens, but sometimes we get very interesting windows. Tom Daschle, he was Senate Minority Leader for a while, I think Majority Leader too. He got beat when he ran for reelection a while back. And then he wanted the cabinet job under Obama, and he had to release everything. In four years, this guy, it was like he was in one of those booths with the money flying all over the round. Let's take a look at his, yeah. He needed to open a whole mess of bank accounts to squirrel away all of this money. That's crazy money. And what was his skill? What could he do? I guess it could get things done in Washington. Paul Ryan, the man who lost a talking contest with Joe Biden, he's on a million different boards. Those are all part-time jobs. Imagine getting this much money on the Fox board, $335,000 for a job where he has to work a couple of days a year. We gave him that stuff. Hey, I'll say this for Daschle and Ryan though, they finished out their terms. You know who else didn't besides Gallagher? Boehner. Remember him, when he couldn't be Speaker anymore, he just left. So, Mike Gallagher, I do not think he has any future ever again in politics. Too bad. He was actually a pretty sharp guy, but he betrayed his constituents and I believe really let down the country. So, remember this though, overall, the stuff that's happening to Trump. Total side show, one of the benefits the Democrats think they're getting is that Joe is protected from the scrutiny that is due an incumbent president. Welcome to Rob Schmidt tonight. Big day in Trump world as the former president's absolutely ridiculous 450 million dollar appeals bond was gutted and sliced all the way down to a hundred and seventy five million dollars. A number that Trump can easily post in a variety of different ways for the privilege of being able to appeal the most ridiculous civil penalty in the history of New York State. The selective prosecution of one commercial developer for doing business in the exact same manner as all the rest. That's the crime. The testimony from Trump's own bank was disregarded by Arthur Engaron who ignored all exculpatory evidence as far as we can tell. Engaron is just a sorry stooge for the left seeing himself as a hero working to disarm a threat to democracy. More than anything else today's judgment exposes Engaron working to help Letitia James to keep her promise to New York's radical left voting base. The weird people that put her in office. A promise to hijack our legal system and use it to harass a political enemy like the wannabe dollar store dictator that she is and Tish James does this as her state collapses from so many other problems as Trump pointed out earlier today. Businesses have a choice to go to a lot of places including other countries. They don't have to stay in our country but they can certainly go also to a lot of other states. A lot of people going to Texas, Florida, Tennessee, North Carolina, a lot of South Carolina and you have a lot of competition. You shouldn't be persecuting people that have done a great job. I paid 300 million dollars approximately over the years in taxes here. 300 million that's a lot of money and you're gonna lose those people that pay all that money and you're not even gonna have a state anymore they just won't be able to do it. 300 million in state income tax over the years. No question what we're seeing will give the big money players some pause. The guys like Trump in New York. No one has ever seen behavior like this inside of our country. We've never seen this. It is a threat to the stability that makes America and New York so attractive for major investment. All from a woman who understands nothing about the private sector whatsoever. Shredding norms to advance her pathetic political career. It is a terrifying moment and before you get too excited about the bond reduction which everybody got excited about just know this. When Bernie Madoff was arrested for running a 50 billion dollar Ponzi scheme that destroyed the lives and evaporated the retirement accounts of tens of thousands of Americans. His bond was 10 million dollars and that was to get out of jail not to just appeal. Trump's only alleged victim testified on his behalf that they do business with him again tomorrow and his reduced bond to appeal is 175 million. It's still about 175 million too high so don't get too hot on this appeals court. They're about as bad as Arthur Angron is anyways but over in lunatic land and by that I mean the media the narrative is that Trump is getting off easy again because the justice system is so obviously politically slanted in Trump's favor. David what does that tell you? Jose it tells me something that you know I've talked about before and that is the playbook is different for former President Trump. Yeah the playbook is different for President Trump. I think we can agree on that it's just what kind of different is it from a former prosecutor paid by MSNBC to supercharge their neurotic anti-Trump audience. The same nonsense from the same machine that we've been dismantling for about six seven years now. Here's another one from 80-year-old Mike Barnicle over at MSNBC. I'm just thinking that we have been carrying this fugitive from justice in our history literally for over three decades before he even became a real public figure. I mean he's been around and survived all of these incredible weighty legal and political issues and he's still here, still here, still a free man. I have no explanation for this show. They put people that stupid on TV they do it every day I swear to God. Here's a possible answer for Mike Barnicle. Maybe Trump's not a lifelong fugitive from justice. Maybe you and your colleagues in the media and in Washington are all freaking insane and maybe if our system was run a little better and didn't totally alienate the people that it serves over the last couple decades you wouldn't have to go on TV every day and humiliate your 80-year-old self in a desperate attempt to destroy the change agent that Americans so desire. And let's just have one more from our good friend Nancy Pelosi. Well I think that it's very clear that Trump is a grifter that's just the way it is and integrity which is something that we all want to always deepen in politics and in government has just flung the coop with him. Integrity, tell us more Nancy. A woman who turned the House speakership into a 100 million dollar career by flagrantly feeding inside information to her husband and making her family wealthy beyond their wildest dreams is here to tell us all about integrity in Washington and scold a man who came from the private sector and has lost a fortune personally while refusing to take a paycheck while he worked in public office. Which by the way is the best proof that the narrative around Trump is nothing more than propaganda. Who takes the worst job in America? The presidency gets attacked constantly loses a fortune and then refuses to take his two million in pay for four years of work from the federal government. A guy that didn't do it for the money finally. Why do you think Obama did it? The money. Why do you think Biden did it? The money. They all do it for the money. The one guy that didn't do it for the money and then he doesn't even take the paycheck. And for those who think Trump's getting off easy today his judge in the Stormy Daniels case declined his request to delay the trial. So three weeks from today the leading candidate by far for president is going to be in court sitting there for a case that could see him sentenced to prison over an alleged dalliance with a porn star from 20 years ago and the money allegedly paid to keep her big dumb mouth shut. Prison. Imagine what they would do to Trump if he committed a real crime. Like maybe take in millions from Ukraine and China for political favors and then hide the income from the IRS for nearly a decade. Imagine what they would do about that. And here's a thought that will blow your mind. Maybe everyone in Washington really is awful and maybe Trump is the normal one.

New Year's Eve 1999. The country was counting down until midnight getting ready to pop the champagne but somewhere in the back of our heads we thought the whole world would go haywire. Airlines, banks, Wall Street, the military all are working feverishly to avoid problems with the computer glitch known as Y2K. They can test and they can test and they can test but not until the actual event do they really know it's like sending up a space shuttle. They got everything down they think everything's all said last minute boom. Nothing happened and now it seems silly but this morning every reporter tightened their wins or nots, steamed their pantsuits and started the Trump bankruptcy countdown. Bank accounts frozen property seized by the end of today this could be a reality for Donald Trump. His assets including some of these prized properties on the screen right there could be seized if he can't make a nearly half billion dollar bond payment by the end of the day. One more for you uh Donald Trump could be forced to declare bankruptcy if he's unable to post his more than 450 million dollar bond. Just like Y2K the countdown ended with nothing. Trump's buildings weren't seized he wasn't bankrupted he actually made four billion dollars today. More on that later. An appeals court said Trump doesn't have to put up half a billion dollar cash bond. Sorry Judge Nudy and Letitia the court slashed the number to 175 million. It's a sad day in our country in many respects uh but the good day is that the appellate division was fair it's a lot of money still but the judge is corrupt in my opinion greatly respect the decision of the appellate division and we will abide by that uh we'll put up cash or bond very quickly. This is what it'll look like. Let's read the letter over the bottom. The appellate court not only cut Judge Nudy's bond demand by more than half the five judge panels signaling that Trump will probably win the case easily on appeal. Reversing almost the entire Judge Nudy ruling while the case plays out. Allowing Trump to still run his company and apply for loans same with Eric and Don Jr. Humiliating Trump padlocking his properties and stealing his cash before the election. That won't happen. Today was a good day for America. You can't bankrupt the man just for beating Biden in the polls. I have a lot of cash. You know I do because you looked at my statements but I would also like to be able to use some of my cash to get elected. They don't want me to use my cash to get elected. They don't want that. They don't want me taking cash out to use it for the campaign. Are you going to start putting money into your campaign? Yeah. You haven't done that since 2016. Well first of all it's none of your business I mean frankly but I might I might do that. I have the option. Every indictment helps Trump and every court victory helps him even more. We're witnessing a political injustice and every day that he survives he looks stronger and Joe Biden looks weaker and the system more corrupt. This is all about election interference. This is all Biden run things meaning Biden and his thugs. They can't win an election because of the borders because of energy prices because of inflation because of Afghanistan the worst and most embarrassing day in the history of our country. This was too much for MSNBC and CNN who punched the censor button while he was just warming up. Well I respect the appellate division for substantially reducing that ridiculous amount of money that was put on by a corrupt judge named in garden to be looked at. And so we'll continue to listen in to Donald Trump. But as he continues to make what are provably wrong statements Trump they're laying out a plethora of falsehoods perhaps the most blatant one that all of these criminal cases were orchestrated by President Biden as the president is answering questions from reporters more falsehoods from former President Donald Trump again repeating this false claim that President Joe Biden is behind the slew of legal issues that he's facing. That's not false. Letitia, Fannie, Loverboy, Jack Smith's team all visited or coordinated with the White House. White House visitor logs don't lie. Convicting Trump before November is the centerpiece of the Biden re-election campaign which is why every time cases get calendared or Trump wins on appeal the media turns suicidal. Honestly this is so infuriating I don't even know what to do. I don't even know if I care what the process is. He basically fashioned himself his own private militia to try to take over the capital. You know now he's getting his own private system of justice. This is an absolute travesty. It would not happen for anybody else. Anybody else it would be like sorry buddy you lost pay up. For him he gets his own set of rules. Trump's getting special treatment by the legal system. Khaled Sheikh Mohammed was provided more due process. Trump's facing five cases from four Democrat prosecutors with zero victims and Democrats are furious that he still owns a home. Get ready to get even angrier because on the same day his bond was slashed in half Trump Social's parent company Truth Social their stock soared 35 percent giving Trump a four billion dollar cash injection. Trump's net worth just hit six point five billion dollars on paper making him one of the world's 500 richest people. Over the weekend Joe Biden nicknamed Trump broke Don. Better find a new nickname.

and here with analysis. Fox News contributor Jonathan Turley. All right, there's a lot to unwrap here legally. I'll let you choose where you want to begin. But I would look at this as a big win for Donald Trump today in terms of the half a billion dollar plus, but I would like an answer. I would like somebody to be held accountable for the phone evaluation that Judge Angoran now holds till to this day of Mar-a-Lago being only worth between 18 and what, 20 some odd million dollars when I've shown empty lots, two acres going for 200 million. Well, the interesting thing about the vapors that you were witnessing from various pundits is that this is simply to allow another judge to review what Angoran did. So what they're complaining about is that Trump didn't have to do a fire sale on his property just to be able to get other judges to look at this ruling. And the ruling is ludicrous. That is, the ruling is based on really speculative numbers by the court. You drill down, there's nothing really there. And then the problem, of course, is that, you know, the penalty in this case should have been a dollar because no one lost a dollar. The people that were the supposed victims, these companies, these banks wanted more business from Trump. Now, what the judge ordered in New York was supervision, and you could have stopped there, right? If you think that there's undervaluing and overvaluing, then sure, order supervision. But that's not what this judge wanted to do. This judge picked an arbitrary number that made it almost impossible for Trump to secure an appeal to protect his businesses unless he was willing to sell off some of his businesses. Let me run some poll numbers by you. John McLaughlin and associates, 67% say politics played a role in the indictment of Donald Trump. That's over two thirds, Jonathan. 58% say Biden played a role in the indictments of Donald Trump. Only 30% say it's not true that Biden is trying to jail Trump. Wow. I think the American people, you know, you lay out facts for them in spite of a media that I think is abusively biased, they kind of get it. They do get it. And I think that they recognize for it for what it is. It's not that they necessarily like Trump, but they don't like what they're seeing, particularly in New York. They've created this inescapable political vortex that used to be a legal system. And it's damaging, not just the courts, it's damaging the city. Who wants to go to a city where they try to get you to sell off your property just to get an appeal to look at what a judge did? And so the damage there has been below the waterline. It's going to have to be repaired. But now the New York Court of Appeals could restore some integrity to their system and look at these, at this number. There's two issues here. You know, whether he overvalued and undervalued, that's something very common in the real estate area. But the other major issue is, does this violate the constitution? Almost half a billion dollars in penalty when no one lost a single cent. Let me ask you about the Bragg case now scheduled to begin on April the 15th. Andy McCarthy had a pretty interesting analysis of this. I think you share this view. He said that Bragg was falsifying his prosecution. And he said, knowing that a plain spoken admission that he was trying to enforce federal law, he goes on to say, and a federal statute that the state prosecutor had no authority to enforce that the feds themselves passed on and their lead witness, well, I wouldn't say he's the most credible human being on the face of the earth. How does that play out? Well, Andy, spot on. Many of us have been writing from the beginning of this case that it is a sort of a Frankenstein monster of a case. It's composed of different parts of the federal and state codes. What he basically did is he took a misdemeanor where the time has already run out from the prosecute and bootstrapped the federal crime so that he could extend the statute of limitations. But the Department of Justice rejected that crime. That's the same type of theory they use against John Edwards. It collapsed in a really abysmal failure by the Justice Department. And so they declined to do it. And so you created this bizarre filing. I'm surprised that it has not been dismissed, but Trump may have to face a trial in order to get serious review of the underlying theory. But now we're going to have the spectacle of a disbarred lawyer, Michael Cohen, who just recently was denounced by a judge who said that he was a serial perjurer, that he was still gaming the system. And that's going to be your star witness. It's going to be another blow, I think, to the integrity of the New York legal system. But we'll see if the New York jury buys us. I think that what Bragg is betting on is that the jury won't get past the name on the caption of the criminal complaint and that they will spend very little time looking at either the law or the evidence and focus on who's behind the defense table. Not only did he get that bond slice by 61.5% in New York, the latest Emerson poll shows him leading Biden in a number of key swing states -- Arizona, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Nevada. And the big merger of a social media company, Trump Media and Technology Group, finally got through the merger process. That means tomorrow, Donald Trump's shares will be worth in the billions. The true social stock will start trading tomorrow on the Nasdaq. Joining me now, Charlie Hurt, opinion editor at "The Washington Times" and Molly Hemingway editor-in-chief at "The Federalists." Both are Fox News contributors. Charlie, let's start with you. I started the show tonight with "The Road Runner" and "Wiley Coyote," which is one of my favorite cartoons ever. But, you know, they're almost there. They're almost there to get them. Put the padlock on Trump Tower and the Trump golf course and Mar-a-Lago and Tisha James is all excited. Then, well, a little rough of a day, but this news is not insignificant about this special-purpose acquisition vehicle and the merger tomorrow -- billions of dollars for Trump and maybe a new spring and a step. -Yeah, it's truly extraordinary. I mean, this was supposed to be one of the worst days in his entire career, both politically and his business career. And then it turns out to be one of the best. And it's like the guy's got this Midas touch. And you have to give him credit. It's not just luck. It is -- I think there's a lot of -- He deserves credit both for continuing to fight every single day. I don't know how the guy manages to come back and keep swinging. But then, you know, you see that performance where he went for the cameras outside after the court hearing. And, you know, yet again, he commands the -- You know, he's up against the media every single day, and he commands the attention of the media. And it's funny, I flipped around the channels, and CNN, MSNBC, everybody who's declared they don't want to cover anything he says anymore, they were all forced to carry his victory lap.

-Good evening, everyone. I'm Laura Ingraham. This is "The Ingraham Angle" from Washington tonight. Always one step ahead. That's the focus of tonight's angle. ♪♪ ♪♪ ♪♪ Try and hope as they might. The legal forces in New York, Georgia, and D.C. are finding it harder and harder to accomplish their mission, which is to put Trump behind bars and/or bankrupt him before the election. Now, today, the New York appellate court slashed the obscene amount Judge Engaron ordered Trump to post to appeal the case from $454 million to $175 million. Now, the left's longtime fantasy was to see New York AG Letitia James personally slap padlocks on the front doors of Trump's prize real estate. Now, there was a palpable disappointment. I could hear it on the other cable nets. -Cristin, it's your understanding that Trump will be able to get this lower amount of cash together, but it is worth reminding everyone that up until the 11th hour today, when this ruling came down, they were struggling to find a way to pay that original bond amount. -Here we go again. He continues to defy gravity and catches another lucky break. -The notion that I would walk in there and have my, what I owed, knock down to a third of the judgment is ludicrous. I wouldn't even ask you if that would happen for me. Of course not. And the notion that he's got 11 more days is ludicrous. And I guess my question is, is there a breaking point? Or is this just what Trump will benefit from? Everybody always bending the rules and treating him differently? -That's hilarious. Well, CNN was so excited about today. They invested in a few lawn chairs for their guests outside the lower Manhattan courthouse. They thought it was going to be a different outcome. And, Nat, the Trump real estate graphics were still a favorite go-to. -175 is a lot more doable than more than half a billion dollars with interest piling up daily. -He probably does have this 175. This is, you know, a big break for him. It could have been much, much worse. More than $500 million could have been resulted in him not having to sell assets. -True, but the leading legal mind in the House of Representatives insists the ends justify the means. -I actually think that there is risk in not seizing these assets and the open window that exists in him trying to secure these funds through other means. We've seen a lot of interesting transactions happening with truth social and other means. And there's a very real risk of political corruptions. -She figured out that Rico thing, yeah. All right. Aha, the Trump exception to due process and basic fairness. Now, these people would attend candlelight vigils to protect the due process rights of illegals before deportation, but they're outraged that the system gives Trump any rights at all. -He's been around and survived all of these incredible, weighty legal and political issues, and he's still here, still here, still a free man. I have no explanation for this, Joe. -Well, if he can't wrap his cerebrum around that, he should stick to gabbing about the Red Sox. Yet another in the simpleton pundit category is Michael Steele, the failed former RNC chair. He, too, is stunned that the appellate court made a sane ruling posting, "Yet again, Donald Trump gets special treatment with his own private system of justice." This makes absolutely no sense. Well, what makes no sense is that comment. So, now, the never-Trumpers are so deluded, they actually, what, think the New York appellate court is MAGA, special treatment? The only people getting special treatment in New York are the thugs terrorizing people on the streets and getting away with it. -We have violent criminals that are murdering people, killing people. We have drug dealers all over the place, and they go free, and they can do whatever they want, but they go after Trump where there's not even a crime. -And the entire underlying judgment was disproportional from the outset. Disgraced financier Bernie Madoff's fraud was in the billions with tens of thousands of victims. Guess how much his bail was? $10 million. I know, that was a lot of years ago, you say. Well, how about Sam Bankman Freed? He was forced to cough up $250 million in bail money, but, again, he lost his investors billions. In Trump's case, the banks had done their due diligence in loaning him money, and there were no victims. Loans were paid back in full. But don't worry, ye on the deflated left. If there's someone who's gonna take the load off, it's Fani Willis. She says she's still on track to get the roadrunner. -Why that was going on, we were writing responsive briefs. We were still doing the case in the way that it needed to be done. I don't feel like we've been slowed down at all. I do think that there are efforts to slow down this train, but the train is coming. -She doesn't sound political at all there. Now, you get the sense that all these people are running on fumes. Like a denture cream bond, a certain "G" word has been stuck on Biden for years. But now his surrogates think the big switcheroo is gonna work. -This is the same grift that he has run again and again and again, using other people's money for his own benefit. Well, often leaving his donors high and dry. -Well, I think that it's very clear that Trump is a grifter. That's just the way it is. These people who are so happy to give him money to pay his legal fees should at least be told that's where they're spending money. -Ah, I get it. But if only Nancy and Jen applied their concern to the omnibus bills, where there was a real problem with transparency, thousands of pages long, released the night before of a vote, or I guess that lack of transparency somehow works okay for them. Now, when these people ridicule and defame Trump, they really are just ridiculing and defaming the 74 million Americans who voted for him and those who will will again. They even try to mind-read their true thoughts. And to that point, perhaps the most moronic comment of the news cycle goes to this guy. -They know about all of the foolishness. They know about all of the corruption and everything that Donald Trump is. Joe Biden cannot win by saying Donald Trump's a bad guy because there's people who want the bad guy to be president. -Move over, Cicero. Bottom line here, Democrats have no affirmative agenda to restore America. It's just lawfare, racial division, and, of course, throwing some abortion-fear mongering. Of course, their guy can't be trusted to have a real press conference or do any non-friendly interview, no way. And, of course, Joe won't or can't debate. How can he defend his border? He can't. How can he defend the chaos abroad? He can't, but no problem. His surrogates do all the heavy lifting for him, and they include the corporate media. Their mantra is simple -- Trump is bad, and you're bad for wanting a bad man as president. And because he's bad and you're bad, we're justified in bending the legal and political system to make sure he doesn't even have the chance to be on the ballot come November. Oh, and, of course, he's Hitler, as well. And that's the angle.
