As the President of the United States, I have been watching Data Centers very closely, and have come to a very strong conclusion. New and large, in some cases gigantic, Data enters are mandated by me to make their own electricity, and give or sell any excess back to the local community, or grid, and therefore there is electric price increase. In fact, there could be a substantial decrease. Other elements likewise! If companies want to make their Data Centers popular, pay the community, and/or individuals within the community, a “dividend.” I have watched the process closely, and Data Centers that were highly unpopular in a certain area, have become extremely popular when a financial deal is struck. Here is, at this point in the presidency, for both Joe Biden and President Trump, their second year in office, the first half of that year, January to July, inflation. Overall inflation was 12% for Joe Biden, 4% for President Trump. Groceries were up 16% for President Biden, a little over 3% for President Trump. Gas was up almost 70% for Biden. That's up about 12% during that timeframe for Trump. New and used cars were up almost 24% for Joe Biden, down under President Trump. But prices aren't the only numbers that matter. It's no secret Americans are feeling about how they're feeling about the high cost of living. But there's also what you make, what you earn. And that has been moving up. Real median household income hit more than $80,000 last year. That's the highest level on record, according to the Census Bureau. On the flip side, that's median household income. There's poverty. Poverty was down another half point last year to just over 10%. That, as you can see, is a historic low. So this reality and how we feel have to be reconciled. But that's hard to do when you see how these two different stories are covered. See if you can spot the difference. Here's The Washington Post in 2022 under Joe Biden. The stunning drop in child poverty is a huge story. This month, as we hit poverty rates that are the lowest in history, here's the headline in The Washington Post. Both poverty rate dropped slightly, but experts fear worse ahead. Let's reconcile how we feel in reality with Heritage Foundation economist EJ Antoni, who joins me now. EJ, it's good to see you. Listen, I know how people feel. We both talk to people, and we see it showing up in polling. But how do we compare and reconcile that with these numbers, which are historically great? They are, Will, but one of the things I think is important, going back to that first chart you showed, where it was the inflation rate difference between Trump and Biden. At the end of the day, consumers don't as much care about the inflation rate, which is the pace at which prices are increasing. What they really care about are the levels of prices. And so any additional price increases that we see under this administration, it's kind of like the straw breaking the camel's back because they are on top of all of the price increases that we had from the previous administration during Biden. And so even though, again, even though things have gotten better under President Trump, in other words, not only are paychecks bigger, but they can buy you more, which is why, as you were saying, real median household income is up, for a lot of Americans, they still have not yet regained all the lost ground that they saw under Biden. So let me just put this into real numbers so that I, and perhaps the audience, understand exactly what you're saying. If your grocery bill went up 15% under Joe Biden, the fact that it's now only going up 3% doesn't inspire a lot of credit. They're still paying 18% more than what they expected to be paying from the inflation baked in during the four years under Biden. And this, even though wages are growing. Exactly. And I think the other thing that has really left a kind of a bad taste in people's mouths, as well, is the fact that during the first year, really the first 14 months of this second Trump administration, we were making tremendous progress. In fact, if you can believe this, the average American's weekly paycheck adjusted for inflation shrunk 4% under Biden from when he entered office to when he left. But during Trump's first year, it went up 2%. In other words, we clawed back half of the losses that we saw under Biden. And again, this is the Average American's weekly paycheck.

Look, I've been in this movement since like the 1980s and inter-party fights have always been there. I remember what they did to pitchfork Pat Buchanan, okay? Why did you open up the border? Why did you create this catastrophe? -We did not open up the border. Senator, we enforce the law. -There have been more than 1 million migrant crossings since October 1st, when the new fiscal year began. We have never hit that milestone this early on. And by the way, any move now to carve out exceptions or soften this position because some restaurant owner pushes a sob story about some sweet restaurant worker, fried cook, because some donor loves her illegal nanny, that would backfire big time. Headlines would be Trump caves. Democrats would celebrate, MAGA would shatter by by midterms. But beyond the border, let's not forget how Biden cost us thousands of dollars each of us every year and higher gasoline bills. - A new record high jumping 17 cents in a week causing sticker shock nationwide. - I'd say it affecting me every day. - I do have to budget a little bit differently just for gas. - There's so much that is beyond any leader in the globe's control. Gas prices today, over $5 a gallon in the United States. If you were in Canada, you would be paying over $6 and 20 cents, something like that. If you were in Germany, you'd be paying $8 a gallon. - And now what do we have now? The lowest gas prices in four years. - A fresh four and a half year low, three and a half year low of 295 a gallon as of today. - That is miles away from the all time high set back in 2022 under former president Biden, above $5 a gallon. - That's an automatic tax cut. And let's not forget that we're stumbling Joe and Yoko Yellen where they had us on the inflation issue. - We're making considerable progress in bringing inflation down. - The US government reported inflation has hit 8.6%, the highest it's been in 40 years. - Take any blame for inflation. Should you just press it in? - I take any blame for inflation, no. - I give military benefits. If it wasn't for the benefits that I get, I mean, I don't know how I'd be making it. - Biden left us with an inflation rate of 3.3% after hitting a high of 9.1% during his administration. It's just now cooling to 2.7%, thank God, and Trump. And if you took out the inflation rate in the blue states by the way, it would even be lower. Consider Dallas where inflation is running at only 1.1% over the year. The South generally has more muted price increases. Now, why is that? The reason for that is because we have better state government, lower taxes in those states, and less red tape in those states makes sense. And then there's foreign policy. Here's the way it was. - There's no crisis line with China. We know that Lloyd Austin, his counterpart wasn't picking up when the U.S. tried or when Lloyd Austin tried to call. - President Biden says he stands squarely behind his decision to withdraw all U.S. troops despite Afghanistan's descent into chaos as the Taliban sees full control of the country. - But under Trump, America is back in the driver's seat. We're going after the narco terrorists. We're focusing on securing our hemisphere, and we're working to pressure China by cutting our addiction to cheap Chinese imports. - Trump's tariffs were hugely important in beginning to reset the global trade balance, too. - Trillions of dollars is coming into our country from other countries and companies. They're building factories and plants, including auto plants all over the United States of America. Without tariffs, they wouldn't be doing anything. - That means rebuilding our industrial capacity, including our military capacity. And today, the focus was on shipbuilding. - Remember, it is a travesty, but we've fallen far behind other countries, mostly China, thanks to years of stupid industrial outsourcing. Trump is the only president to actually get the fact that this is a national priority. - Each one of these will be the largest battleship in the history of our country, the largest battleship in the history of the world ever built. So we're talking about 10, but we're gonna start with two, and we're gonna quickly morph into 10, and ultimately, we think it's gonna be anywhere from 20 to 25 of these. - Shipbuilding is a priority, and from war to peace, Trump wants to be known as the peace president, and he's worked harder to bring adversaries, bitter adversaries to the table than anyone I can remember in recent memory. When the Gaza war dragged on, J.D. Vance delivered a message to Netanyahu. Wrap it up, he said. And don't think about annexing most of the West Bank, or you'll lose all U.S. support. Because of this pressure, the peace deal that eluded Biden and Blinken eventually got done. Of course, the media, though, they're seeing all this, and they're rooting against peace. They hate giving Trump any credit, so expect headlines like this. Peace deals unraveling. And no, for all of you out there, now, of course we didn't get everything we wanted. The angle didn't. We wanted Congress to end the filibuster, to put Trump's policies into law. We hoped deportations would be swifter and broader. We wanted another tax cut. We wanted the Doge spending cuts dropped into the bill. Big, beautiful bill. We wanted no technology to China. We wanted a clear industrial policy, but still, with a thin majority, oh my goodness, Speaker Mike Johnson, Senator Thune, Trump, they pushed through the big, beautiful bill. And to this day, no one, and I mean no one, at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, has been better on the border, better for American workers. And in recent years, no one comes close to Donald Trump.
