Joe Biden actually wants high gas prices because they help with his ridiculous policy of abolishing gasoline powered engines and forcing everyone into expensive all electric cars that don't go very far as you know and they take a long time to charge up. That's why when Joe Biden came into office he shut down the Keystone XL pipeline which was a travesty. He canceled our oil leases in Alaska but he approved the Russian pipeline going to Germany and all over Europe and he waged war on American energy. That's what he did. He waged war on anything American having to do with energy. In addition Joe Biden's weakness plunged the world into chaos and conflict further driving up the prices you're paying at the pump and they're going higher and fast. When I'm reelected reducing the price of gasoline for American families will be a day one priority and that includes electricity and everything else that comes with it. We will drill baby drill we will slash energy crushing regulations and we will restore peace and stability to bring gasoline prices down for everybody. I can tell you more about it, including what Mexico did to us under Biden. I can tell you what South Korea did to us under Biden. But you need to know the bottom line. Do you know that domestic steel capacity utilization has dangerously dropped to 74% well below the sustainable 80% threshold that we need to make sure that we can make enough steel for our military and national defense in general. America's aluminum producers have been equally hard hit. Australia has doubled its primary aluminum exports to the U.S., while foreign competitors including adversaries like China and Russia aggressively have used transshipment loopholes through Mexico and Canada to evade and circumvent tariffs. That is why Trump acted this week to impose tariffs on steel and aluminum. As imports have surged, domestic aluminum production has fallen by 30%. Listen to this carefully. The Trump 2 .0 tariffs are going to ensure that all imports, regardless of their processing location, are going to be subject to tariffs through the use of North American melt and poor and smelt and cast standards for steel and aluminum, respectively. I think you've got the picture. Trump is 100 % right, okay? The Trump 2 .0 tariffs cracked down on the shell game of using derivative products to evade tariffs. Countries like China, Russia, and others now ship semi -finished steel or aluminum into Mexico, into Canada, or the EU, where it is lightly processed, and then they get around it. Now, here's the kicker. Before I go on this topic, you're not going to believe this. You're ready for this one? Ukraine, corrupt Ukraine, corrupt Ukraine, which can't account for $100 billion of tax dollars, sends semi -finished steel to be processed in Poland, where it is exported as a derivative product to the United States, thereby avoiding Section 232 tariffs and anti -dumping duties. That's your friend Zelensky. That's what's another subtext of this whole story that's going on. So you've got to understand the U .S. Customs and Border Protection will make sure there is nowhere to run and nowhere to hide for the tariff of aiders. We're going to be stronger and we're going to be wealthier thanks to Donald Trump.
