# trump.fm > trump.fm is the definitive research archive of Donald J. Trump's posts on X (Twitter) from May 2009 until the account was suspended on January 8, 2021, and on Truth Social since February 14, 2022, including posts since deleted from the platforms. It provides searchable, citable, and AI-analyzed records of presidential digital communication for journalists, historians, and academic researchers. Around each post the archive keeps transcripts of posted video, descriptions of posted images, the text of what it reposted, engagement metrics, a narration mp3 read by a synthesized voice, a machine-generated psychological analysis with fact checks, and receipts: contradictions between the post and statements made at other times. Each day has a digest. The posts are his, except the words reposts and early X retweets made by hand carry from other accounts, which the markdown views mark; everything around them is machine output. Citations come in APA, MLA, Chicago, BibTeX and RIS. Not in the archive: his X posts after the account was restored, other accounts such as @POTUS, and what he said without posting it (speeches, interviews and rallies appear only as video he posted). No match means the words aren't in this archive, not that he never said them. ## Read a page as markdown Every page answers in markdown, built from the archive's records rather than the HTML: append `.md` to its path, or send `Accept: text/markdown` to the page URL. - [A post](https://trump.fm/post/ts_117336875720742753.md): `/post/{id}.md`. The post, its transcripts and image descriptions, narration link, analysis, fact checks with their sources, receipts, that day's digest, and citations, in one read. `?analysis=false` gives the record alone. - [A day](https://trump.fm/date/2026-09-26.md): `/date/{YYYY-MM-DD}.md`. Every post that day, led by the day's digest (`?analysis=false` leaves the digest out). - [Contradictions](https://trump.fm/contradictions.md): `/contradictions.md?topic=iran&severity=reversal`. Receipts across the archive. - [Home](https://trump.fm/index.md): the latest posts. - [Search](https://trump.fm/search.md?q=tariffs): `/search.md?q={query}`. ## MCP - [MCP server](https://trump.fm/mcp): Streamable HTTP at `https://trump.fm/mcp`, no authentication. Tools: `search`, `fetch` (a post id or a day), `mention_counts` (how often, per year or month), `latest_posts`, `popular_posts`, `list_digests`, `contradictions`. Add it to ChatGPT or Claude as a custom connector with that URL. ## API - [API Documentation](https://trump.fm/openapi.json): OpenAPI 3.1.0 specification for every endpoint below. - [API Catalog](https://trump.fm/.well-known/api-catalog): RFC 9727 linkset pointing at the spec, docs, and health endpoint. - [Authentication](https://trump.fm/auth.md): No auth required. Rate limits and the operator-only sync endpoints. - [Post Listing](https://trump.fm/api/posts): Posts newest first, cursor pagination, platform filter, or from a given day. - [Search](https://trump.fm/api/search): Full-text search across post text, video transcripts, image descriptions, and reposted text, with date and platform filters, newest first or `order=oldest` for first mentions. Matches words, not meaning: join synonyms, nicknames and spellings with OR in capitals (obamacare OR "affordable care act"), quote an exact phrase ("witch hunt"), end a word with * for its prefix (tariff*), and put - before a word to exclude it. Common words such as "the" are ignored outside quotes, and an exclusion needs a word to exclude from. `tag:{name}` lists posts an analysis tagged. - [Search counts](https://trump.fm/api/search/counts?q=nato): How many posts match a search, per year (`by=month` for months) and platform. - [Analysis](https://trump.fm/api/analysis/{postId}): A post's full analysis, with its fact checks and receipts. - [Daily Digests](https://trump.fm/api/digests): Days with a digest, newest first; `/api/analysis/date/{date}` for one in full. - [Receipts](https://trump.fm/api/receipts): Contradictions, filtered by topic and severity; `/api/receipts/topics` lists the topics, `/api/receipts/{postId}` one post's. - [Statistics](https://trump.fm/api/stats): Aggregate statistics about the archive. - [Citations](https://trump.fm/api/cite/{postId}): Academic citation generation in JSON, RIS, and BibTeX formats. ## Feeds - [RSS Feed](https://trump.fm/rss.xml): Latest posts from all platforms. - [X (Twitter) RSS](https://trump.fm/rss/twitter.xml): Twitter/X posts only. - [Truth Social RSS](https://trump.fm/rss/truth.xml): Truth Social posts only. - [Analysis RSS](https://trump.fm/rss/analysis.xml): The latest posts that have an analysis. - [Podcast](https://trump.fm/podcast/unabridged.xml): Every post narrated, in order. Send `Accept: text/markdown` to any page URL, or append `.md` to its path, and you get a clean markdown rendering of the same content, built from the source records rather than the HTML. The `x-markdown-tokens` response header carries an estimated token count so you can budget context before reading the body. Browsers and anything sending a wildcard Accept still get HTML at the page URL. ## Data Access - [Sitemap](https://trump.fm/sitemap.xml): XML sitemap index for every post, analysis, day, and digest. - [OpenSearch](https://trump.fm/opensearch.xml): Browser search integration. - [oEmbed](https://trump.fm/oembed): Embeddable post widgets for third-party sites. - [Full documentation](https://trump.fm/llms-full.txt): Endpoint reference, schemas, and citation guidelines.
